I don't know if this counts as a request for headcanons, but how does Swerve's friends react to this powerhouse of an ancient warrior, who almost killed Cyclonus before finding out that the Lost Light is a neutral ship, becoming very fond Swerve. (As in warm and fuzzy feelings are blossoming)

Reader's been following him around, listening to him talk and glaring at anyone who interrupts him. She's memorized every detail to inquire about later, but Swerve doesn't want to get his hopes up. Even if reader literally pulls him onto her lap during movie night.

I want to request them again later, but for now I just want to see his friends reacting to this. (Specifically Tailgate and Cyclonus, fellow little guy and scary warrior pairing)

Tailgate is immediately on board, nudging Swerve like, "Oh my gosh, she totally likes you!" He might even try to coach him through flirting (badly).

He gasps audibly the first time this bot glares at someone for talking over Swerve. “Did you see that? She’s—oh my Primus, she’s into him.”

Swerve, of course, dismisses it. “Yeah, right. I’ve seen bots be into me before, and guess what? They weren’t.”

Cyclonus hasn’t forgotten that she nearly killed him. He also hasn’t forgotten that she didn’t finish the job. He’s wary—but also, he’s observing. And what he sees? She's is paying attention to everything. She follows Swerve’s conversations with absolute focus, asks about things he mentioned in passing, and doesn’t tolerate interruptions.

Tailgate is hyping Swerve up.“She’s memorizing your words. That’s basically poetry. You’re basically a poet.”

Swerve is spiraling. He refuses to believe it. “She’s just nice. Maybe she likes my stories. That doesn’t mean anything.”

Cyclonus, flatly, “She pulled you into her lap.”

Tailgate, barely containing his excitement: “She PULLED you into her LAP.”

Cyclonus watches as realization dawns on Swerve’s face. It’s slow. Painfully slow. But once it hits, it’s over for him.

She, meanwhile, remains steadfast. If Swerve is too caught up in self-doubt to believe what’s in front of him, then fine. She has patience. Cyclonus and Tailgate, however? They have none. Tailgate is scheming, and Cyclonus is tired.

With warmer oceans serving as fuel, Atlantic hurricanes are now more than twice as likely as before to rapidly intensify from wimpy minor hurricanes to powerful and catastrophic, a study said Thursday. Last month Hurricane Lee went from barely a hurricane at 80 mph (129 kph) to the most powerful Category 5 hurricane with 155 mph (249 kph) winds in 24 hours. In 2017, before it devastated Puerto Rico, Hurricane Maria went from a Category 1 storm with 90 mph (145 kph) to a top-of-the-chart whopper with 160 mph (257 kph) winds in just 15 hours. The study looked at 830 Atlantic tropical cyclones since 1971. It found that in the last 20 years, 8.1% of the time storms powered from a Category 1 minor storm to a major hurricane in just 24 hours. That happened only 3.2% of the time from 1971 to 1990, according to a study in the journal Scientific Reports. Category 1 hurricanes top out at 95 mph (153 kph) and a hurricane has to have at least 111 mph (178 kph) winds to become major.
