it is sort of weird for you to have said "everytime someone says my swiss looks white i fucking bust a fatass nut." It truly does make you seem anti POC.

as someone who is a POC, swiss is one of my favorite characters.. Its disheartening to see. Everyone... everyone almost always white washes Swiss in their art. It hurts. So fucking much to see it. you do not deserve whatever hate you're getting, and I'm sorry people are sending hate.

But please, dont white wash Swiss.

Synapse Films Unleashes PHENOMENA in 4K Ultra HD!

Horror Master Dario Argento’s PHENOMENA – the ‘80s Supernatural Creepy Horror Classic – arrives on 4K UHD loaded with Bonus Features.    

On March 14th, Synapse Films unleashes Phenomena on UHD, including all three versions of the film newly restored in 4K with Dolby Vision.  

Jennifer Corvino (Oscar winner Jennifer Connelly) is sent to a Swiss boarding school by her famous actor father. The sleepwalking teen – who also is a telekinetic with the power to commune with bugs – embroils herself in a series of vicious murders. Jennifer begins to unravel the mystery of the killings with the help of an entomologist, Dr. McGregor (Donald Pleasence) and his chimpanzee Inga. The soundtrack features music from Goblin, Motörhead, Iron Maiden, Andi Sex Gang, Bill Wyman and Simon Boswell. Phenomena is Dario Argento at his very hypnotic and nightmarish best.  

The two-disc set includes the original Italian version (116 mins), the International cut (110 mins), and the U.S. “Creepers” cut (83 mins), featuring multiple audio/language options (with subtitles) in Lossless DTS-HD Master Audio.

WiND77: Bart's Special Allroader

Een nieuw Allroader frame voor mezelf. Deze keer geen bijzondere uitprobeersels maar gewoon een Special Allroader volgens de huidige standaard-specificaties.

Wel nieuw zijn de dropouts: Na verschillende opties te hebben geprobeerd (voor een 12x142mm steekas icm flatmount rem) heb ik nu een dropout gevonden die goed functioneert in de werkplaats én op de weg en er ook nog eens goed uitziet (niet te lomp en mooi aansluitend op stays). Deze kwalitatief hoogwaardige dropouts van Paragon Machine Works zijn te combineren met verschillende derailleur-hangers (op deze fiets de direct-mount versie).  

Verder vooral bekende frame-elementen (o.a. Columbus LIFE en ZONA buizen, interne kabelgeleiding door onderbuis en de zadelpenklem weer gewoon op de voorkant) en mijn persoonlijke fit/geometrie (dit keer met een iets meer horizontale bovenbuis). De Allroader-voorvork is overgekomen van het vorige frame.

Poedercoat: sparkling spikkelmix van ultramarijnblauw en zwart. Het donkerblauwe frame in combinatie met overwegend zwarte onderdelen bleek toch wel een beetje saai. Daarom heb ik mezelf getrakteerd op een verse blauwe HOPE headset en naven en een blauw HOPE bottom bracket opgediept uit mijn voorraad. Deze frisse blauwe accenten geven de fiets net wat extra voor op sombere winterdagen.

Verder is deze fiets grotendeels opgebouwd met degelijke, bewezen onderdelen van zijn voorganger: o.a. Shimano Ultegra 2x11-speed groep (mechanisch, geen elektronica op mijn fiets!), TRP Spyre remmen (mechanisch, liever geen hydraulica op mijn fiets), SRAM Force crankstel, Shimano XT pedalen, Deda Gera Alloy gravelstuur (misschien niet moeders mooiste, maar ergonomisch voor mij bijna perfect) en een verse set wielen (HOPE RS4 naven i.c.m. DT Swiss RR481db velgen).

Meteen opgebouwd in 'wintermodus' met 32mm banden (Conti GP5000), binnenbanden gevuld met tubeless vloeistof voor extra lekbestendigheid (ja dat werkt, tip!), en natuurlijk goede vaste spatborden (SKS Bluemels, all black).

Hiermee heb ik een Allroader die voor mij zowel technisch als optisch bijna perfect is. Een goede basis voor jaren kilometervreten. Laat die winter maar komen! Ondertussen zijn de eerste paar honderd kilometer alweer gereden. Hij rijdt heerlijk!

木製ロードバイク〜チェーンを張って完成

チェーンを張りシフターとブレーキ��微調整を終えて完成しました。 車重はこの状態で9.6kgです。 今回は軽さや速さよりも快適性と直進安定性を重視して作ってみました。フォークを寝かせ、ホイールベースを長めにし、チェーンステーとシートステーの剛性を落としています。 クロスバイクとWP Bikeの市販ロードバイクの中間くらいの性能です。販売しているWP1よりも縦方向のしなりが増えています。その結果だと思いますが、上りが少し楽に感じます。その分、高速側の性能は落ちていると思われます。 コンポーネントは10速のUltegra、フォークはタキザワさんのフルカーボン、ホイールはMavic Open Proリム、32本のDT Swiss…
