Our soulmate stories that the amazing @wardenparker posts on her page are normally reserved for Sundays. We call it Soulmate Sunday!

While she normally posts around 9AM EST, sometimes life gets in the way and it can be later in the day.

As a matter of fact, tonight is reserved for the polishing finish on the chapter to make sure it's going ready for tomorrow! 💜

Day 5 - Down the Rabbit Hole

Have you ever lost something? Do you want it found? Then come down to Wonder L&S, where nothing is lost! All you need to do is take a quick trip down memory lane...

a newer one for today too, but the basic premise is the main cast (based on alice in wonderland characters) own a lost and found service where alice jumps into ppl's memories to find anything that's ever been lost. (that includes non-objects too ;) ) lots of fun and mysterious ideas brewing for this one~

Adjust best? Oh, Hendrix by far. Sure it’s another hell dimension he can’t escape, but at least he can sleep, eat, and rest without fear of everything trying to kill him all the time. It actually wouldn’t be too far off from how he’s dealing with loop life now.

Now nobody tell him abt the stage staff :)

Doef doef doef doef. Het zweet druipt van me af. Ik heb m’n ogen dicht. En ik laat me meevoeren op de beats van de DJ. Doef doef.

Met twee vrienden ga ik elk jaar naar muziekfestival Down the Rabbit Hole. Een paradijs voor een muziekliefhebber als ik. Een groot natuurgebied in Beuningen met overal grote tenten met podia waar allemaal leuke bands en DJ’s spelen. Meer dan de helft van de line-up ken ik niet, maar ik sjok rustig achter mijn vrienden aan en als ik ergens een leuk deuntje hoor, duik ik die tent in.

Het festival duurt drie dagen en ik slaap op de camping waar de haringen van je buurman in jouw tent staan. Ook al weet ik dat ik op maandag helemaal naar de filistijnen ben, geniet ik elk jaar weer vol overgave van deze onderdompeling. Je bent hier geen vrouw-van, collega, vriendin of moeder, nee, je bent gewoon één van de 45.000 muziekliefhebbers. En ik voel me weer 25.

Ik doe dit weekend één ding voor mijn kinderen en dan vergeet ik ze, dat is het filmen van een zangeres RAYE op vrijdagmiddag die B. van Tiktok kent. Verder ben ik even helemaal anoniem en los van alles en iedereen.

’s Nachts veranderen de tenten in duistere discotheken met dj’s die door hun zware beats de prachtigste vrouwenstemmen vlechten. Deze 25-jarige staat sinds 1:00 uur ’s nachts al een paar uur in een donkere tent te dansen, compleet ondergedompeld in de beats. Armpje in de lucht, laat je gaan. Het doordringende ge-‘doef’ is als een hartslag en je kunt niet anders dan je mee laten voeren en bewegen op wat je hoort. Noem het dansen. Noem het meditatie. Geen idee wie er naast me staan, ik ben alleen met de muziek.

Dan wordt ineens heel hard “HEE!” in mijn oor geschreeuwd. Ik open mijn ogen en kijk in een gezicht dat me vaag bekend voorkomt. Wanneer de vormen wat scherper worden, herken ik een vader van het schoolplein. Ik groet vaag. En doe mijn ogen weer dicht. Alsof ‘ie er niet is. Doef doef doef doef.

“LEUK JOU OOK HIER TE ZIEN,” schreeuwt de vader van het schoolplein met ook zijn handje in de lucht. Ik knik al dansend van ja maar probeer hardnekkig in mijn meditatieve stand te blijven.

“HOE IS HET MET B.?” Geen idee, eigenlijk – dat is het hele punt van dit weekend. “GAAT HET GOED OP SCHOOL?” schreeuwt ‘ie verder. Ik wil alleen maar dansen.

“SORRY, HIER HEB IK GEEN KINDEREN,” schreeuw ik terug, terwijl ik naar de andere kant van de dansvloer huppel. De vader en zijn handje verbluft achterlatend. Ik maak het op het schoolplein wel weer goed.

Doef doef doef.

Destinee dried off quickly tonight, hurrying back into her coat. She needed to catch her before anyone else could, or this would all be for nothing. Destinee fairly ran along the path from the wave pool all the way out towards the wilderness, fingers crossed that she wasn’t too late. Thankfully, she wasn’t.

“Hey,” Destinee gasped, a little out of breath. She sucked it up all the same and forced herself to sound more level as she continued to speak. “Got plans tonight?”

To be honest with you guys Down the Rabbit Hole changed me. At first I didn’t think I was going to like it but then I started reading and DAMN.

The brainrot DTRH caused is so real, I even made a playlist.

all of the stuff in the dtrh eve online video is so fun and interesting but i just havev such a problem where this guys voice is so calming and even that is sooths me and suddenly i realize i havent actually been paying attention to anything for the past 3 minutes of talking ive just been sitting here like a lamb in a pasture
