As the Day Begins
Scripture: Acts 11:9 (ESV)“But the voice answered a second time from heaven, ‘What God has made clean, do not call common.’” Morning Meditation The morning light brings with it new possibilities—and with those, a question: Will we see ourselves and others the way God sees us? In Acts 11:9, Peter recounts his vision from heaven where a voice from God declared, “What God has made clean, do not…

Lord, Please Make Me Over – Weekly Devotional
The post reflects a personal journey of spiritual growth and reconciliation with God, emphasizing themes from scripture such as new beginnings, living for Christ, and the importance of pursuing righteousness. The author shares struggles with sin, worldly pursuits, and the transformative power of God’s love, ultimately seeking divine renewal and guidance.
2 Corinthians 5:14 – 21 14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. 16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know…

When God Uses What You Broke
“Then they sat down to eat a meal. Then they lifted their eyes and looked, and there was a company of Ishmaelites, coming from Gilead with their camels, bearing spices, balm, and myrrh, on their way to carry them down to Egypt.” — Genesis 37:25 (NKJV)
If Abraham and Sarah had trusted God’s timing, there would have been no Ishmael. But they got impatient, they tried to help God out and what they birthed in haste ended up haunting generations. Ishmael was not God’s plan, but God is still God, even in our missteps. One of His names is Redeemer and the Redeemer does not discard your story, He rewrites it.
Fast forward three generations. Joseph is sitting in a pit, betrayed by his brothers, stripped of his robe, and sold out for silver. And who shows up in that exact moment? “A company of Ishmaelites, coming from Gilead… on their way to carry them down to Egypt.” (Genesis 37:25 NKJV) Did you catch that? The descendants of Abraham’s mistake became the transportation for Joseph’s destiny. The very thing that was born out of impatience became the vehicle to move Joseph into position. Not just for survival, but for purpose, promotion and preservation. God turned the mess Abraham made into the miracle Joseph needed.
So hear this: it’s not over. Not because of what you did, what went wrong or how far off course you feel. Your mistake isn’t bigger than God’s plan and your detour isn’t stronger than His direction. What you thought disqualified you might be the very thing He uses to deliver others.
Joseph didn’t just survive Egypt, he ruled it. He didn’t just make it out, he made a way for others to make it through… his brothers, his father, his entire bloodline. The ones who threw him in the pit were the ones he later saved from the famine. That is how redemption works and what grace looks like when God is in full control.
So lift your eyes, look again. That caravan of Ishmaelites? That might be the hand of God using your past to deliver you into your future. He’s not done with you and He’s not intimidated by what you messed up. He is the God who redeems broken plans and turns them into unstoppable purposes. And when He does it, you won’t be the only one who benefits. Your family will eat because you didn’t quit, your legacy will rise because you stayed faithful, your pain will have purpose because you trusted Him in the pit.

Galatians 5:16-25 (NASB1995). [16] “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. [17] For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. [18] But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law. [19] Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, [20] idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, [21] envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. [22] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [23] gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. [24] Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. [25] If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.”
“Walking in the Spirit” by In Touch Ministries:
“The Holy Spirit supplies everything we need in order to follow Christ.”
“The Holy Spirit is one of God’s most precious gifts to His beloved children. The Spirit takes up residence within believers at the moment of salvation and empowers each one to overcome sin and live for God’s glory. (See John 15:26-27.) However, the Holy Spirit’s power can be hindered or ignored.
Walking by the Spirit denotes reliance upon Him. He leads the way and we follow. As He speaks, we listen, heed His warnings, and obey His directions. His way is a path of surrender, which, though sometimes difficult, leads to fullness of life. God’s Holy Spirit not only guides but also enables us, supplying everything needed for living righteously and producing His remarkable fruit in us (Gal. 5:22-23).
Being led by the Spirit should be the natural lifestyle of all sons and daughters of God. We should intentionally seek to maintain an awareness of His presence throughout the day. As we do, He makes us sensitive to the things of God and provides understanding about the situations and people in our life.
Take a walk with the Spirit today. Learn to recognize His voice by spending time in the Word and in prayer. Focus your thoughts on Him, asking for His guidance and looking expectantly for His leading.”

“The Lord is good to those who wait for Him and seek Him.” Lamentations 3:25
For me, waiting quietly for God is difficult. How I wish I could hurry God! My patience keeps running out. I often wonder, “How do I pray better to make Him act?” Maybe, you too feel the same.
When your patience is tested to the limit, remember that the world unfolds according to God’s timetable, not ours.
Prayer: Lord, let me live according to Your plan and according to Your timetable. When I am hurried, Lord, slow me down. When I become impatient with others, give me empathy. Today, Lord, let me be patient, and let me trust in You and Your master plan. In Jesus’ Name. Amen

Jesus Is The Only Answer
The only way to experience the abundant life that God wants you to have is to surrender your will to God and allow Him to take full control. God has a special plan for your life, but sadly, you will never know what that is if you don't allow God to have complete control. Only a heart given to Jesus can fully know the joy and fullness of living a life in Christ. If you're searching for deeper meaning in your life, you only need to look one place and that is up. Feast your eyes on Jesus, the only real source of true happiness, peace and contentment. When you're walking with your Lord and Savior, you are prepared to handle any problem that comes your way. Having a close relationship with God opens the door to hidden resources of strength, enabling you to overcome adversities. When life seems too heavy to bear, remember Jesus is the answer and He is the only answer. Text: Psalm 56:4, Isaiah 41:10, Joshua 1:9, Matthew 19:26
Bible Texts:
Psalm 56:4 KJV - In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
Isaiah 41:10 KJV - Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Joshua 1:9 KJV - Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God [is] with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Matthew 19:26 KJV - But Jesus beheld [them], and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

As the Day Begins
Psalm 100:3 (ESV)“Know that the Lord, He is God! It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.” Morning Meditation As you wake and step into a new day, Psalm 100:3 offers a vital reminder of who you are—and, more importantly, whose you are. In a world that rushes us into defining ourselves by our performance, possessions, or popularity, this verse calls…

Compelled by His Love
“For the love of Christ compels us.” — 2 Corinthians 5v14 (NKJV)
You don’t win the battle over sin by loving Jesus more, you win it by letting His love win you. That may sound backwards to some of you. Many of us grew up being told, “You wouldn’t keep falling if you really loved the Lord.” So we tried harder, sang louder, served more and still, we struggled. Too many believers are exhausted, not because they don’t love God, but because they’ve been trying to live holy on the fumes of their own affection. Your love rises and falls, His never does. Your passion might cool down, His burns eternal. That’s why the most powerful force in your walk with Christ isn’t your commitment to Him. It’s His commitment to you.
Paul understood this. He didn’t say the fear of judgment compelled him. He said, “The love of Christ compels us.” That love carried him through prisons, storms, stonings, betrayal, and hardship. That love anchored him when everything else was shaken. That love made him unstoppable. And that same love is what breaks the chains in your life today. Not shame, guilt, self-effort or religious performance, but deep, relentless, sacrificial love.
So if you’re still battling old habits, if you’re tired of the cycle, if you’re weary from trying to perform your way into holiness, stop and ask God for one thing: Show me how much You love me. Because when you get that revelation, sin starts losing its grip. When you see how deep the love of Christ runs, compromise stops looking attractive. When you are filled with the fullness of His love, you stop chasing empty pleasures.
Paul prayed it this way: “May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love… and may you have the power to understand… how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ… then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.” (Ephesians 3v17–19 TLB)
So the word today isn’t try harder. It’s look deeper. Let His love compel, carry and change you. His love doesn’t just forgive, it transforms you.

2 Corinthians 5:6-8 (ESV). [6] “So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, [7] for we walk by faith, not by sight. [8] Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.”
“Walking by Faith” by In Touch Ministries:
“Faith is a gift from God that opens the door to salvation and enables us to enter into His Presence.”
“We often hear the word faith. However, when such a word is used frequently, it can become so familiar that we grow immune to its great depth of meaning. So today, let’s consider what faith actually entails.
Everyone has faith. For example, it takes a measure of confidence in a kitchen chair to sit down without first testing its strength. Yet believing furniture will hold our weight is quite different from entrusting our life to Almighty God.
Exactly what, then, is the biblical definition of faith? In Hebrews 11:1, we read that it is “the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” And we know that it is impossible to please the Lord without faith (Hebrews 11:6). In fact, there is nothing we can do that will earn salvation; the only way to heaven is by having confidence in Jesus’ substitutionary sacrificial death on the cross, which paid the penalty we owed for our sin. What’s more, faith is nothing we can create within ourselves; Scripture is clear that it is a gift of God (Ephesians 2:8).
Have you accepted God’s gift of faith and embarked on the wonderful journey that He invites you to share with Him? If you’re not sure whether you’ve trusted your life to Him with full confidence, ask Him to guide you and reveal the truth.”

REDEFINING THE CHURCH
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."  - 1 Peter 1:3
The Lord is redefining His Church and calling them out of a place of stagnancy and redundancy into a place of passion.
Have you ever felt as if you were running around in circles, going through churchy motions but getting nowhere? When we lose sight of His Kingdom, our lives can be easily reduced to "playing church" which is no fun after a while. Jesus only spoke of His Church – or Ekklesia roughly 3 times and mainly in the book of Matthew (Matthew 16:18, 18:17).
The  Lord's original idea for His called-out assembly (Church) --  a supernatural army of sons and daughters pulsing with a passionate expression of His Kingdom on the earth. In order to see the fruit of Jesus on the earth, we must remember to live from the Kingdom of Heaven.
The Church is not meant to be a box in which we contain and theorize Heaven.
WE ARE GOD'S AMBASSADORS HERE ON EARTH
Every believer has the potential to wake up and smell the glory -- that is, recognize who they are in Christ as sons and daughters.
The Church of Jesus Christ should be a place of equipping the saints in:
their Christ identity,
their right standing with God,
and walking in the Spirit.  Now they are ready to understand their CALLING in Christ and be propelled into their Kingdom destinies.
The Church is not meant to be a place where we get trained to go through the motions, it's mean to be a gathering and equipping of the representatives of the Kingdom of Heaven so they can go out in their Christ calling and bear fruit that remains for His Kingdom.
As we ascend into passionate, Kingdom-living which results in an effective, powerful Church as well as personal life, we have a passion to disciple new believers into their Christ identity and oversee their spiritual progress.
CAMP AROUND THE CLOUD
"So it was continuously; the cloud would cover it by day, and the appearance of fire by night. Whenever the cloud was lifted from over the tent, afterward the sons of Israel would then set out; and in the place where the cloud settled down, there the sons of Israel would camp. At the command of the LORD the sons of Israel would set out, and at the command of the LORD they would camp; as long as the cloud settled over the tabernacle, they remained camped out."  - Numbers 9:16-17
Kingdom people are led by the Spirit. We can experience an incredible stagnancy and/or burnout if we do not camp around the cloud of His glory.
If you find yourself feeling stagnant or unproductive, challenge yourself to step out and find a mentor who can show you how to be effective in bearing fruit that remains for God’s Kingdom.

Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. ~Mark 11:24
We are to pray in times of adversity, in times of prosperity, in times of danger, in times of safety and security. We need to pray when we are in need and when we are full.  We can never be self sufficient. We need God every moment of every day. We pray to a merciful God for forgiveness. We pray for an outpouring of God’s Spirit upon us and our generation. We pray that God may crown our homes with grace, mercy and peace. We pray for the salvation of our loved ones. We pray that righteousness may cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. Let’s be people who pray.
Prayer: Father, in Your mercy, hear our prayer.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
