Yes, I can see character stories! I thought all of the characters had patterns like that as well, but there isn't really one on closer inspection. Most of them have at least one interaction with another character(Romeo yelling at Taiga, Ren getting annoyed at Towa, Subaru apologizing to Haku and Zenji. . .) and two in-person interactions(except Kaito, he has one.) Haku's date, however, is off screen at this point. Maybe an on-screen one will be added at higher affinity.

Somebody asked me to post Jin and Tohma's chats, but it'll take a while because the formatting there is different from the home screen chats and I'm more tired after work or busy with certain things lately haha. The Italian Grand Prix, the home event for both 2005 title runner-up Melandri and reigning seven time MotoGP champion, starts on Friday.

Singapore 2023 is the first race i watched live, so it’s kinda special for me in a sentimental way. I liked Qatar 2023 a lot, I know most of the drivers had a terrible time but the dominance Max has in that race, being the only driver no to get out of track limits, ot was simply insane. Qatar 2023 was insane and Max’s performance was a master class in driving.

7. Do you have a favourite circuit? Can be from the past or from the current calendar.

I haven’t seen all circuits live, that’s why i can’t say for sure I do have one. Monaco is iconic but i find it underwhelming. Abu Dhabi is a pretty good one i’d say.

8. Have you ever been to an F1 race in real life? Feel free to tell us your experience going to one if you like.

No, I haven’t. I would love to. Especially the Brazilian GP since is the closest to my country.

No, i haven’t. I would love to, especially Max, Charles or Lando.

She had always assumed her death will be Max’s fault, anyway. And now, with the perfect view of Maxie’s ass pressed to Dani’s pussy, moving in circular motions, she felt like the world was about to implode. Nothing made sense, and life was fucking great.

Dani replaces her hand with her lips and finally bites into that thick neck that drives her insane. Buries her nose into it, and groans at the smell of Max’s perfume. Vanilla, cocoa, and something spicy. It makes her brain melt.

Heaven is Max Verstappen, Dani thinks half deliriously. And she’s all mine.

She sucks a hickey into Max’s neck and moves her other hand slowly down down down. Down into where Max needs her the most, going by the needy sound she makes, high and desperate. 

Nothing would ever top this, nothing could be better than having her favorite girl at her mercy. She was aware that they were being observed, and it only made her hornier. Max, for the first time ever, was letting Dani have her. And at the same time, she was letting Dani stake her claim on her. Fffuck. Nothing would boost her ego quicker, truly.

 She was her champion, since day one. Her everything. And nothing could feel better than Max, grinding against Dani’s hand right in front of everybody they knew. 

“Are you mine, Maxie?” She crooned, pushing her accent to the max just to see her girl tremble on her arms. “I think you are. I think you’ve always been mine. Since the moment we saw each other, huh?”

She wanted to swallow Max’s whimper, she wanted, she wanted, she wanted. She felt crazy, so full of feelings and that horniness blurring everything together.

“Yes! Yes, I’ve always been yours, Dani, of course–” Max's voice feels like syrup, scratchy and hot as hell. “I want to be yours, please. Please, Dani.”

Fuck. She had her girl begging at her, and nothing could ever stop Dani from giving everything she has and will ever have to Max. The love of her life.

(like i KNOW that alpine is a shitshow rn but he could easily find another seat. even if not he's made his mark :) -this makes me excited to see nico in the new season. he makes pretty good tv and it'll be cool to see how much of that has changed with age! -another narratively well done episode. nico's only episode and a wonderful one. i also noticed the music a lot, i think they way they used music to build tension was rly cool and not something i've noticed in general. really really good episode

I took time to watch the second and third seasons of “Narrative Telephone”.

I previously described this wonderful show as "pure serotonin injected in your veins" and guess what. IT STILL IS ! It's just so good, y'all.

(Under the cut is a summary of my reaction for each episode)

Round 2, Episode 1 and 2 featured BWF and they have been removed from the channel. If ever you want to, know that you can still find them via the Wayback Machine. I have watched them this way, because I'm nothing if not curious ; but I will not say anything on them. damnatio memoriae

Round 2, Episode 3 : aka Laura Bailey remembered she finished last season by blacking out completely, and came back with a vengeance... RHYMES ! Not but the story was lovely at first, but the combo of Taliesin's panick attack and Ashley's.. 'Ashley-ing' this story was fatal to it (bonus point for "Not for you Nott/Don't be jelly !"). Travis brought it back like a champion. We love to see Mica Burton's chimney covered with Emmy awards, also her voice get progressively higher and higher, it's so funny. Sam just re-wrote the rhymes and the story. Marisha did her best. Liam tried to re-write the rhymes, and made Matt's job easier, but... the moral of the story was already lost. Love that Sam said that the Emmys from Mica's videos distracted him so much that he forgot half of what she was saying, and then everyone agrees that's the worst turn Sam ever did ALL BECAUSE OF THOSE EMMYS (on point). "Mica totaled the car, drove it to the auto body shop, Sam said 'I'll take care of this', poured gasoline and set it off on fire, and Marisha was like 'Yeah ! This drives !'" (Travis). As always, I immensely enjoy when they're complimenting each other : this time, it was Matt, whom Laura said he was "date night Matthew Mercer". "You know what ? This is what the holiday is all about ! It starts wholesome and pure and perfect, and by the end, it's 9 drunk people making a big mess and blaming each other !" (Sam).

Round 2, Episode 4 : aka Mica Burton speaks Elvish, and no one else does, and also, remember that sitcom, Alf ? Travis was good as always, Liam kept the story but added the killer detail about ALF. And that derailed Taliesin and everybody after that. Taliesin' "Elvish" sounded less like Nordic language and more like absolute nonsense. Marisha just speculated wildly about Anathanel's profession and physicality (is she a centaur ??? who knows !!), and Matt doubles down on that, and also the "Elvish" continues to be -somehow- worse. Sam doesn't know what ALF is, because of course he doesn't, so it gets wayyyy worse than the constant references of ALF. Ashley : "Once upon a time, there was a princess, and her name was... Enfamil... (to herself) no, that's not it, that's baby formula." Laura closes with questionning if there's a moral to this story : spoiler alert, there isn't, because there isn't much of a story anymore. Tears, tears of laughter. I was not expecting ALF, and the half-princess, half-centaur, maybe a mermaid (?) but extremely super-sad heroïne of this story. Also Travis deserves the shit he got for not putting on the flowers and make-up.

Round 2, Episode 5 : aka Liam doesn't tell a story. They all did pretty well ! Considering, again, that there wasn't a story ! The duck names were changing, but were all very cute. The fact that Laura didn't realise that it was NOT Dani's story and kept thinking she was doing some experimental storytelling was so fucking funny. Also love every time they're demonstrating their various abilities or inabilities to do certain voices.

Round 2, Episode 6 : aka IT'S FRUMPKIN, BITCH (*Won't Get Fooled Again by The Who plays in the distance*). Taliesin added wayyyyyy to many letters in the acronyms. Sam returns with adding a moral and an ending to a story that didn't needed them. I feel like this is the most they threw ones and anothers under the bus, thanks to the Pacific thing. Love that the Show & Tell started by them revealing what their middle names were, and discovering that Sam's full name is Samuel Brent Oscar Riegel, as if they didn't work together and were friends since 2010 or before. Ashley, being real : "That must be nice, having sometimes the feeling that you've nailed it !". I loved that they were almost always silent during the re-watching of Dani's story. Respect. It was a good story.

Round 2, Episode 7 : aka Chutney, my beloved, still wants to kill Santa. The story hooks are progressively lost (because of Liam, let's be honest), but the genius plan of killing Santa via fire is not, so that's a progress, I guess. Aabria goes all in, like the queen she is, and makes Chuntney somehow even more creepy ?? "I want this to be you Campaign 3 character", says Matt, about Taliesin's version of Chutney, while I am laughing my ass off thinking that's how Travis got the idea.

Round 2, Episode 8 : aka ¡Viva la Revolución! Aabria brings in the in medias res vibe with the leader of a crime band looking for some quick way of getting rich. Aaaaand the gang transforms this tale, because of course they do. Laura tries her best to salvage her own story thanks to her eyebrows, but alas it doesn't work. Matt plays it like some kind of senile and drunk Gilmore, it's hilarious. Taliesin goes full creepy babushka, and Liam somehow makes it worse, delaying the narrative so much by repeating and whispering the key words at least 3 times, that, by the time it arrives to Ashley and Sam, there's just nothing to do but to go with the flow. "If you like to join this plan, please check YES in this box right here". During the Show & Tell, Travis as the Number 1 Aabria fan is always the best. Laura repeating than Marisha did so good, throwing herself in front of the bus because she knew she did way worse. The rest is just me laughing my ass off for 40 minutes. What a way to end the season !

Round 3, Episode 1 : aka Everyone Is Turned On By Robbie's Voice. Liam is second and immediately goes into hysterics, and does the classic Liam Rewind. Aabria is judging the narrative pretty heavily while telling it, and we almost lost the goblin part, which seems important. By the time we're going to Ashley and Matt, the story has lost almost all elements, including : the goblin part, the good looks, the implication of a threesome, and some of the names, but we added chiseled nips into the mix ! Aimée is a genius and starts with A GUITAR and frames the thing as open mic night, which is... honestly a good choice, at this point ! "You are the Riegel of this group" said Liam about Aimée. Love that in the end, all everybody cared about was openly lusting after Robbie's voice

Round 3, Episode 2 : aka DENI$E IS HERE. I'm so happy I got to watch the infamous origin story of Deni$e, Dariax's ex ! Aimée is crazy good, and everyone does their best effort to bring the trashy and ridiculous and loving vibe to this "Breakup Lettah". Everyone is impressed by Anjali, as they should be, and Liam calls her version "a Scorcese retelling" with how much emotion she's injected in it. Aimée did so much research and thinking on her story, I'm glad she got to use all of her research in Campaign 3. I want to see Deni$e again at some point.

That was wonderful, and whenever, in the future, I feel sad, those viedos will be on my watch list, for sure.

i started watching formula 1 in 2022, after much pestering from my best friend. my knowledge is pretty minimal, but i have an intense habit of talking out of my ass; so bear with me please. i'm a ferrari fan, but also a carlos sainz fan first and foremost. and while i support charles' endeavors to be the wdc (fingers crossed 2023 is his season), i do not accept any and all carlos slander. if you're anti carlos, my blog is not for you! i do love other drivers as well! my other faves include charles leclerc, daniel ricciardo, mick schumacher, & esteban ocon. though, this isn't to say i won't talk about/speak highly of other drivers. i am very easily impressed (and disappointed) so my posting isn't limited to them.

XDefiant Review - Defying No Tradition - Game Informer

XDefiant’s core modes offer temporarily fun stabs at the competitive multiplayer arena shooter, but Ubisoft’s latest attempt at carving out a slice of the lucrative esports pie feels half-baked. Core modes like its practice mode and ranked queue are gated off by construction tape at the time of writing. This leaves a bland battle pass with head-scratching progression decisions and standard weapon-based leveling systems as the only tangible means of rewarding you for playing the game or doing well beyond an individual match. And with questionable netcode and missing mainstay features and modes, not even its interesting hero shooter-like abilities and small tweaks on the run-and-gun, low-time-to-kill formula coined by Call of Duty make me want to return to XDefiant.

Ubisoft’s crossover shooter couldn’t have picked less interesting properties to kit-bash together. Though each of the five factions currently available in the game adds a cool approach to gameplay, they’re not exactly the superstars you think of when you hear Ubisoft. Instead, players step into the arenas as unfamiliar characters from Ded Sec (Watch Dogs), The Cleaners (The Division), Libertad (Far Cry), Echelon (Splinter Cell), or The Phantoms (Ghost Recon); there’s no Sam Fisher or Dani Rojas for you to recognize or get excited about picking because you liked their game. Each faction has three playable characters (two or more of which you need to unlock in each faction) but they have no differentiating traits between them aside from some cosmetic stuff. 

Combat is fast-paced, with a quick time-to-kill to make each shot count and almost nonexistent respawn timers constantly pushing you back out of the gate to chase down the objective and juice up that K/D ratio with its hyper-realistic arsenal of guns and devices. The standout here is XDefiant’s selection of 14 maps, each boasting plenty of cleverly laid out lanes and chokepoints, with open areas and tight corridors in different spots to encourage and reward different playstyles.

Getting enough kills in one life unlocks a cool ultra ability to help your team out in battle and stack up some extra kills or extra time on the objective. Here’s where things start to change from the familiar: Ultras, alongside a less powerful but still useful secondary ability and a helpful passive, vary based on the faction you choose. Each faction is based on an organization or group from another Ubisoft property and has its own set of specialties and abilities. You can switch between them anytime during a game, letting you adjust your strategy based on the task at hand.

Let’s say you’re playing Domination, but the other team has a sniper in a perfect sightline to pick you and your teammates off one by one, keeping you from capturing the point. Setting up one of the Phantoms’ Mag Barriers might help absorb some sniper fire long enough for your team to grab a reliable foothold and return fire. But as tactical as these abilities can be, XDefiant’s basic setup doesn’t do enough to encourage strategic play over simply rushing the objective and trying to beat the enemy team to the draw until the score limit is reached.

That game of quickdraw doesn’t always feel right, though. XDefiant’s netcode and hit detection are way off; I can’t tell you how many times my game has registered a shot on an opposing player as a hit, only for them to kill me and the game to tell me that they had full health after I’d been downed. Even with a wired connection and the best ping in my lobby, I’ve been shot through walls as I move and even been killed while hiding behind cover that should block my entire body.

It’s barely been a week since I first installed XDefiant, but I don’t think I’d miss it from my hard drive. While the gameplay at its core is fun enough, the game is barren compared to most other shooters—including the free ones—with even bare-basic modes like team deathmatch and free-for-all or features like a ping system or skill-based matchmaking nowhere to be found. Its maps are well-made, sure, but with no rank to strive for, daily missions that ask me to commit to playing ten whole matches, and very little to look forward to in the battle pass, I don’t understand why this game would gain any traction over others beyond the fact that it’s free.

F1 Esports Series Pro Championship: Opmeer wins at COTA in Round 9

Jarno Opmeer made it two wins on the bounce on Friday evening, winning the ninth race of the F1 Esports Series Pro Championship around Circuit of The Americas with a daring final-lap overtake for the lead. Beginning the final tour in third place, he watched on as title rivals Bari Boroumand and Thomas Ronhaar negotiated the lead with vigour. But an off-track excursion for both was all Opmeer needed, and the two-time champion swept around the outside at COTA’s stadium section to seal the most nail-biting win of the year. Beginning in extreme wet conditions, calmer skies soon prevailed, and the intermediates were crucial. A few laps later, and it was time for slicks, with those who pitted on Lap 22 the greatest beneficiaries. Ronhaar led Boroumand, Opmeer and a resurgent Brendon Leigh with a handful of laps to go, until Boroumand switched things up and made a move for the lead at the beginning of Lap 24. The final lap was to be the most incredible of all, with Ronhaar sending one to the inside at the end of the lengthy back straight. Boroumand resisted heavily, both ran wide, and Opmeer took position, as Leigh also got into the mix. F1 Esports: Incredible 4-way final lap fight for victory in USA! All four cars left the circuit at various points, but with just a couple of sweepers to go, Opmeer couldn’t be surpassed, leading home compatriot Ronhaar for the first Dutch one-two in F1 Esports. Brendon Leigh came home third, taking his first podium since Mexico 2020, with the crestfallen Boroumand finishing off the podium, having led going into the last lap. Frede Rasmussen had a quiet but effective run to fifth, having started way down the order due to a 10-place grid penalty for contact with Ronhaar on Thursday. Lucas Blakeley was sixth, limiting the damage to his championship lead as his rivals all took points from one another. Dani Bereznay finished seventh, his second points finish in as many races. Alvaro Carreton, Marcel Kiefer and Joni Tormala concluded the points-paying positions.
