4T2 Electronic Kiosk Replacement

Today I have a replacement for the community lot electronics kiosk.

Oh happy birthday to me and The Sims 2!

Thank you @teaaddictyt for the idea!

This requires other defaults for the actual electronics for it to work!

CAVEATS

This conflicts with CEP extra, so some edits are required, sorry!

The Kiosk has to be rebought to update the shadows / secondary re-colourable subset!

I have included an edit to the CEPs, if you have made no other edits to yours then these can just replace your existing ones.

The lines to be deleted are vendingkiosk-something) inside each of these files;

vendingKiosk_root_rot_gmnd in _EnableColorOptionsGMND (downloads folder)

vendingkiosk_kiosk in _EnableColorOptionsMMAT (TSData\Res\Sims3D).

Maxis-match default replacement meshes for all the CU Maxis clothing, in separate files so you can pick and choose. They are mesh-only (GMDC) and therefore are compatible with texture-only default replacements as well as recategorizers.

My goal with these was to rework the fat morphs and to iron out some kinks on the normal morphs. I didn't try to alter the fashion. This is my edit of cubodynaked, which I used as reference for everything else:

All the CU clothing from the Ultimate Collection is covered, except cubodydragon because it's ✨flawless✨ already. Default replacements for cutopnaked & cubottomnaked are also included (the meshes used when sims are nude).

About the separates: I took care to match the waist seam with the Maxis tops & bottom meshes so my default replacement separates will work with any CC separates out there.

I couldn't possibly show all previews in a tumblr post but you can download all previews here (Google Drive, it's a big archive). It should be obvious by going through them but the pictures whose file name end in "a" show the original Maxis meshes, the ones ending in "b" show my edited meshes.

A few special mentions:

↳ cfbodydressformal. Polycount reduced from 2,376 to 2,266 and clipping eliminated through underskirt optimization.

↳ cmbodysportif. Edit includes the normals fix that Nopke also did here.

↳ cmbodyjacketshortsboots. One of several meshes I made less bulky.

↳ cfbodycowgirlskirt. The fit always seemed a bit off to me.

↳ cfbodyfairydance. One of Maxis's most interesting fat morphs to be sure.

And lastly, a note on cftopblouse & cmtopvneckshortsleeve. They're the two top meshes that show texture bleeding when paired with some bottoms:

The cleanest way to fix this from a meshing perspective would be to divide the meshes into 2 groups instead of the single "top" group that Maxis put them on. However, you cannot do that without breaking compatibility with the recolors. So I did not do that and pulled the texture mapping up instead. Unfortunately this quick and dirty fix may not work with some CC bottoms whose mapping still goes too high, but it sould be enough for most.

Oh yeah and the neck seam on cftopblouse, that's fixed too (CatOfEvilGenius fixed that neck seam years ago while keeping the original fat morph).

4T2 Hood Tree Replacements - Part 2

I have a default replacement bundle for you, this replaces the rest of the trees in the hood menu. Fully seasonal (minus palms), placeable anywhere!

For reference, this set does have more polys than the Linden tree set, incase you wonder about that! I do love the linden trees, its just they don't match my 4T2 game anymore!

The original set will be updated, this is for those who already have that set!

@teaaddictyt did the smaller pines, lowedus did the seasonal pond that I matched to my terrain, @lowedeus also made the stumps and other taller pines seasonal! Thank you!

Parsimonious Rainslickers

Forgot to include these on the titlecard. Recolors of cmbodyrainslicker and cfbodyrainslicker, shown here with my non-included mesh default replacements. Textures by Arthelope, Welkin and Kate, from Parsimonious. I enabled all recolors for CU and got rid of duplicate textures, reducing file size by nearly half.

Why would you want your servos to have a sim-like eye when you can install a more organic, soulless optical lens instead? I'm making this to suit my game's lore a bit more, so if you're also interested in a more openly monitoring servo design, you might like this default!

The camera eye is my original texture, the rest is the maxis original (with the stamps and lipstick removed)! Servos that wear a bow will have a color that matches their life state.

Default Horse Skin - The Tower

I love love LOVe @minervamagicka's default skin, but I ran into one problem-- it turned the hooves dark, and that doesn't play nice with my cremellos lol :'D

So with a little editing magic, I lightened the hooves and now we have this.

Obviously don't paywall my shit, but especially don't fucking paywall THIS ONE. Like bro all I did was make the hooves lighter. If I find MinervaMagicka's skin behind a paywall or an ad, I will dump a dirty turtle tank in your BED.
