इस दिन विघ्नहर्ता भगवान गणेश की विशेष पूजा अर्चना की जाती है । इस दिन चांद को देखकर अर्ध्य दिया जाता है ।

इस दिन हस्त नक्षत्र रहेगा और चंद्रमा कन्या राशि में विराजमान रहेगा।

संकष्टी चतुर्थी हिन्दू धर्म का एक प्रसिद्ध त्यौहार है। हिन्दू मान्यताओं के अनुसार, भगवान गणेश को अन्य सभी देवी-देवतों में प्रथम पूजनीय माना गया है। इन्हें बुद्धि, बल और विवेक का देवता का दर्जा प्राप्त है। भगवान गणेश अपने भक्तों की सभी परेशानियों और विघ्नों को हर लेते हैं इसीलिए इन्हें विघ्नहर्ता और संकटमोचन भी कहा जाता है।

क्या है संकष्टी चतुर्थी?

संकष्टी चतुर्थी का मतलब होता है संकट को हरने वाली चतुर्थी। संकष्टी संस्कृत भाषा से लिया गया एक शब्द है, जिसका अर्थ होता है ‘कठिन समय से मुक्ति पाना’।

इस दिन व्यक्ति अपने दुःखों से छुटकारा पाने के लिए गणपति की अराधना करता है। पुराणों के अनुसार चतुर्थी के दिन गौरी पुत्र गणेश की पूजा करना बहुत फलदायी होता है। इस दिन लोग सूर्योदय के समय से लेकर चन्द्रमा उदय होने के समय तक उपवास रखते हैं। संकष्टी चतुर्थी को पूरे विधि-विधान से गणपति की पूजा-पाठ की जाती है।

कब होती है संकष्टी चतुर्थी?

पूर्णिमा के बाद आने वाली चतुर्थी को संकष्टी चतुर्थी कहते हैं, वहीं अमावस्या के बाद आने वाली चतुर्थी को विनायक चतुर्थी कहते हैं। संकष्टी चतुर्थी को भगवान गणेश की आराधना करने के लिए विशेष दिन माना गया है। शास्त्रों के अनुसार माघ माह में पड़ने वाली पूर्णिमा के बाद की चतुर्थी बहुत शुभ होती है। यह दिन भारत के उत्तरी और दक्षिणी राज्यों में ज्यादा धूम-धाम से मनाया जाता है।

श्री कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी : कब, क्यों और कैसे मनाई जाती है

यह त्योहार कृष्ण पक्ष की अष्टमी या भाद्रपद महीने के आठवें दिन पड़ता है। इसे गोकुल अष्टमी भी कहा जाता है।

ऐसा मानते हैं कि , भगवान कृष्ण का जन्म वर्तमान समय के मथुरा, उत्तर प्रदेश में हुआ था। इनका जन्म एक कालकोठरी में और कृष्ण पक्ष की अंधियारी आधी  रात को हुआ था ।

मान्यताओं के अनुसार, कंस मथुरा का शासक था। उसने अपनी बहन देवकी और बहनोई वासुदेव जी को कारागार में डालकर रखा था क्योंकि उसे यह श्राप मिला था कि देवकी की कोख से उत्पन्न होने वाली आठवीं सन्तान एक पुत्र रूप में होगी जो कंस का वध करेगी। अतः आठवें पुत्र के इंतजार में उसने जेल में ही उत्पन्न देवकी के सात सन्तानों की हत्या कर दी थी। दैवीय लीला से जब आठवें पुत्र श्री कृष्ण का जन्म हुआ तो योगमाया ने वहां उपस्थित सभी पहरेदारों को गहन निद्रा में डाल दिया और वासुदेव जी को निर्देश दिया कि अभी ही वह कारागार से बाहर निकल कर पुत्र को यमुना जी के रास्ते से ले जाकर गोकुल पहुंचा दें। 

वासुदेव व देवकी को सारी बात समझ में आ चुकी थी कि यही प्रभु अवतरण हैं जिनके हाथों कंस का वध होगा। वैसा ही सब कुछ हुआ। समय आने पर भगवान विष्णु के आठवें अवतार श्री कृष्ण के हाथों कंस का अंत हुआ। 

इसी कारण इस दिन का बहुत ही महत्व माना जाता है और देश भर में इस दिवस को उत्सव की भांति मनाया जाता है।

मथुरा और वृन्दावन में कैसे मनाई जाती है जन्माष्टमी?

  जन्माष्टमी से 10 दिन पहले रासलीला, भजन, कीर्तन और प्रवचन जैसे विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक और धार्मिक कार्यक्रमों के साथ शुरू होता है यह उत्सव । रासलीलाएं कृष्ण और राधा के जीवन और प्रेम कहानियों के साथ-साथ उनकी अन्य गोपियों की नाटकीय रूपांतर पेश किए जाते हैं। पेशेवर कलाकार और स्थानीय उपासक दोनों ही मथुरा और वृन्दावन में विभिन्न स्थानों पर इसका प्रदर्शन करते हैं। भक्त जनमाष्टमी की पूर्व संध्या पर कृष्ण मंदिरों में आते हैं, विशेषकर वृन्दावन में बांके बिहारी मंदिर और मथुरा में कृष्ण जन्मभूमि मंदिर में, जहां माना जाता है कि उनका जन्म हुआ था। मंदिरों को मनमोहक फूलों की सजावट और रोशनी से खूबसूरती से सजाया गया है।

पंचांमृत अभिषेक

अभिषेक के नाम से जाना जाने वाला एक विशिष्ट अनुष्ठान आधी रात को होता है, जो कृष्ण के जन्म का सटीक क्षण माना जाता है। इस द���रान कृष्ण की मूर्ति को दूध, दही, शहद, घी और पानी से स्नान कराया जाता है। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के अभिषेक के दौरान शंख बजाए जाते हैं, घंटियां बजाई जाती हैं और वैदिक मंत्रो का पाठ किया जाता है। इसके बाद भक्त श्रीकृष्ण को 56 अलग-अलग भोग (जिन्हें छप्पन भोग के नाम से जाना जाता है) अर्पित करते हैं। उनके लड्डू गोपाल स्वरूप को जन्म के बाद झूला झुलाते हैं और जन्म के गीत गाये जाते हैं। 

नंदोत्सव

जन्माष्टमी के अगले दिन मनाया जाने वाला नंदोत्सव एक खास कार्यक्रम है। कहते हैं कि जब कृष्ण के पालक पिता, नंद बाबा ने उनके जन्म की खुशी में गोकुल (कृष्ण का गाँव) में सभी को उपहार और मिठाइयां दीं। इस दिन, भक्त प्रार्थना करने और जरूरतमंदों को दान देने के लिए नंद बाबा के जन्मस्थान नंदगांव की यात्रा करते हैं। इसके अलावा वे विभिन्न प्रकार के समारोहों और खेलों में भाग लेते हैं जो कृष्ण के चंचल स्वभाव का सम्मान में आयोजित किए जाते हैं।

दही हांडी पर्व का महत्व 

दही हांडी का पर्व कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी के अगले दिन देश के कई हिस्सों में मनाया जाता है । महाराष्ट्र, गुजरात , उत्तर प्रदेश के मथुरा, वृंदावन और गोकुल में इसकी अलग धूम देखने को मिलती है। इस दौरान गोविंदाओं की टोली ऊंचाई पर बंधी दही से भरी मटकी फोड़ने की कोशिश करती है ।

जन्माष्टमी पर दही हांडी का खास महत्व होता है । भगवान कृष्ण की बाल लीलाओं की झांकिया दर्शाने के लिए दही हांडी पर्व मनाया जाता है।

दही हांडी कार्यक्रम

दही हांडी कार्यक्रम, जो कृष्ण की मां यशोदा द्वारा ऊंचे रखे गए मिट्टी के बर्तनों से मक्खन चुराने की बचपन की शरारत से प्रेरित एक कार्यक्रम है। मथुरा और वृंदावन में जन्माष्टमी समारोह का एक और मुख्य आकर्षण है। इस कार्यक्रम में युवा, पुरुषों के समूह ऊंचाई से लटके हुए एक बर्तन तक पहुंचने और उसे तोड़ने के लिए मानव पिरामिड बनाते हैं, जिसमें दही या मक्खन होता है। यह अवसर वफादारी, बहादुरी और टीम वर्क को दर्शाता है। इसमें बड़ी संख्या में दर्शक भी शामिल होते हैं, जो तालियां बजाते हैं और इस दृश्य का आनंद लेते हैं।

दरअसल, भगवान श्री कृष्ण बचपन में दही और मक्खन घर से चोरी करते थे और उसके साथ ही गोपियों की मटकियां भी फोड़ देते थे ।  यही कारण है कि गोपियों ने माखन और दही की हांडियों को ऊंचाई पर टांगना शुरू कर दिया था लेकिन कान्हा इतने नटखट थे कि अपने सखाओं की मदद से एक दूसरे के कंधों पर चढ़कर  हांडी को फोड़कर माखन और दही खा जाते थे । भगवान कृष्ण की इन्हीं बाल लीलाओं का स्मरण करते हुए दही हांडी का उत्सव मनाने की शुरुआत हुई थी । 

प्रभु की लीला कभी व्यर्थ नहीं होती है। उसका कोई न कोई कारण अवश्य होता है। 

ऐसा मानते हैं कि पैसों के लिए गोपियाँ अपने घर के सारे दूध , दही और माखन मथुरा में जाकर कंस की राजधानी में बेच आतीं थीं। वे सब बलवान हो जाते थे जबकि ग्वाल बाल सीमित रूप में इसे प्राप्त कर पाते थे। तब प्रभु की बाल लीला ने माखन चोरी करने का निर्णय किया था ताकि ये सभी हृष्ट पुष्ट रहें और मथुरा तक ये न पहुंच सके।
