Natalia Cordova Buckley as Elena Rodriguez and Dichen Lachman as Jaying in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. 7x08, "After, before", aka when aos literally said mental health matters.
I read May is Mental Health awareness month in the US so I would like to take this opportunity to remember you even superheroes need some therapy sometimes and that's totally normal and okay, especially during this weird and difficult times. Whatever you're going through, just know you're not alone and you are stronger than you think, you're going to feel better. Your mental health matters, take care of yourself! ❤

So even though I don’t think they’ll be in the same episode I still appreciate that Enver Gjokaj and Dichen Lachman are going to be on the same season of SHIELD.

S.H.I.E.L.D. wants us to be afraid, to fracture.
But we're all tied together, a history that goes back thousands of years.
They will not take that away from us.

Natalia and Ming-Na Wen were interviewed by Laura Hurley for cinemablend. Here's a part of what Natalia said, but I recommend you to read the whole interview here
All of them have had such traumas that they had to overcome to really own their power and to own their story as women. So to be amongst them as characters and also as people was wonderful. Definitely women carry an episode of such a big show, and to prove that three women of color can carry an episode and it can be not just about the typical narrative of girls, 'Oh, they went to the spa and shopping.' No, it's deep and profound, and they're sparring and there's fighting and there's anger and there's love. There's all these complexities, to be able to represent that in an episode with two women you admire, not just as professionals but as people is wonderful. It's a great opportunity and we greatly enjoyed it.
