Female Songwriter Kristin MOURA Takes on a Journey in 'Once Called Home' | Watch Now
Artist: Kristin MOURA
Name of song: Once Called Home
Genre: pop
My song ‘Once Called Home’ takes you on a journey to find this one place you can call home. Everything around you is dark but somewhere out there is a place for you. For some of us, it’s about finding forgiveness and growing up, then others find what they seek in community and family.
They say you will never find your place in the world by being like everyone else so no matter how much suffering you must do to get there, let yourself be exposed and vulnerable so you can get to where you ‘Once Called home’. When filming this video… it was very cold. We had to wait many months between filming certain things because of the temperature. When filming the water scene it was still very cold. I was probably in the water for over an hour. The video representing the planet we live on or better yet the future. The contrast of black and white,
The dead forest, the last butterflies turning to bats, water turning black. all represent earth going to shit to some degree. I'm just a visitor, who’s experiencing our world for the first time. The actor is the devil who is tricking her into following him (aka society).
Where was the video filmed?
The water scenes were filmed at Revere beach in Massachusetts. Other various locations around lowell, ma ...and the biggest parts at madam sherry castle/forest in New Hampshire.
Who produced your video and how did you start working together?
Jared Hancock is the audio producer and was part of video as well. Videographer was Bojan Vanovich
They both work together in studio. It was a good team for the project. It was also one of the first songs we did together.
How did they film the VR portions of the video?
The scene where im in the water is actually all computer generated. The video had alot of great edits within
What’s on the horizon for you?
I'm currently working on a series of originals and covers. I'm hoping to have another video filmed at the end of the month.. along side a handful of things released before the end of the year.

satish Aggarwa I liked the presentation of this video with changing scenes according to requirement of lyrics.
Cara-Mel Music This is a great song. Kristin did her thing on this track; as her vocals complimented the instrumental composition well. The visuals of the video/filming were definitely a perk in highlighting this music video.
