But Daddy I Love Him!: A Disney Princess Legacy Challenge

I didn't really like any version of the Disney Princess Legacy so I decided to do one myself! I tried not to repeat traits, skills... But sometimes I couldn't figure out, sorry! I also included a color scheme based on the princess. You have to complete the aspiration, career and max the skills, unless stated otherwise. I also included some extra goals!

It's not playtested, so I might make changes as I play. I have an edited lifespan that makes Young Adulthood and Adulthood a little bit longer, but Teenagehood and Childhood shorter. My guess is that you could finish the challenge in normal lifespan, but you also can do it in long or with a custom lifespan, or even turn aging off if you want to! Whatever you want to do!

Also, I had to be quite... Creative in some of the princess descriptions, because their personalities are very similar.

Also, there's not really any general rules. Your heir can be any gender you want (Everyone can be a princess!), if you want to cheat, cheat, if you wanna change something, change it!

Generation 1. Snow White 🍎

Packs: Cottage Living, Parenthood

Running away from a terrible family, you find yourself in a tiny cottage in the middle of nowhere. You dedicate yourself to keep it clean and make it a home. A hopeless romantic, you dream of finding your true love and form a beautiful family.

Career: Stay-at-Home Parent

Skills: Cooking, Parenting, Cross-Stitching

Make seven friends

Marry your first love and stay with them all your life. Don’t woohoo before marriage

Generation 2. Cinderella 👠

Your parent instill in you the importance of being a hard-worker, but you can’t help but wish for a better life! With your two siblings making your life impossible, you spent your teenage years working a part-time job and saving as much money as you could to get away from them. As a young adult, you move to your own place and start working in the world of fashion.

Generation 3. Aurora 🛏️

Packs: Nifty Knitting, Get Famous, Parenthood, Island Living

Unlike your parent, you don't even have to move a finger to get what you want. Born and raised in a wealthy family, you might be getting a little spoiled. That’s why your parents send you to live in your uncle/aunt’s house. There, you learn some good lessons, like the importance of generosity and hard work. Although some things never change… And naps are still your favorite pastime!

Move out to your uncle/aunt’s house as a teen. There, they teach you discipline. Make sure you get at least two good character value traits!

Meet your future spouse at your uncle/aunt’s, but don’t start dating him until you are a young adult. They have to be a mermaid!

As a young adult, you don’t really know what to do. Career hop everytime you receive a call!

You love to knit! It is something you can do while sitting. Unlock all types of clothing and buy objects available with the Knitting skill

Generation 4. Ariel 🧜🏻‍♀️

Packs: Island Living, Snowy Escape, Parenthood

As a teen, you discover that you are not a normal sim: you are a merfolk. Your curious nature makes you move out from your family house to the place where your parent was born and raised, and reconnect with your roots. But when you fall in love with a normal sim, you decide to renounce your other form and become a boring, normal human.

You love to read, it is your favorite thing in the whole world, and to think you also could create those beautiful stories? That's your dream. You also love your family, but you want to have your own life, so after graduating high school you move to a shared apartment looking for a little more independence. Turns out your roommate is a monster, but for some reason you can’t stop thinking that there is goodness deep inside them…

You want to triumph, be something for yourself! You might come across as a little self-absorbed, but you have a good heart and will help everyone in need. You move to Del Sol Valley looking for fame, and there you find someone that sparks your interest… But if you do commit to someone, it will be your decision. Your parents will have nothing to say in the matter.

You love painting, you love singing, and you also seem to have a gift to make other people feel better, so you decide to become a doctor and spend all your free time looking for your biological parents.

Part 30

Cinder knew it was a bit forward, but he really, really wanted to dance with someone for prom. And who was he going to dance with if not the sim with the cute cat videos?

To his surprise, Quinn agreed to the dance! And to the benevolent god's surprise, Cinder didn't totally lose himself in Quinn's eyes! He just tried to be very gentle, respectful, and take it slow.

Cinder had plenty of practice dancing in his room and with his sisters, but Quinn? Quinn was a new experience.

Quinn did not take it slow, and got so lost in the dance Cinder wasn't sure his shiny heels could keep up! Nonetheless, he managed to match Quinn step for step!

As the duo pulled out all the stops for the dance, Cinder found it hard to believe this was really real. He was dancing among stars with a clearly wonderful, talented sim who seemed to enjoy hanging out with him!

In fact, Quinn enjoyed the dance so much, they couldn't stop guffawing! Cinder had never heard a more lovely sound.

Quinn was glad they'd given this chatty sim a chance. The night had turned out so much more fun than expected!

A little worn out, the pair took a seat. Quinn was still riding the high of the dance, and Cinder... well, now he really was getting lost in Quinn's eyes.

Unlike his father though, romance was not the main priority for Cinder. Sims like Quinn didn't come around that often, and he wanted to get to know more about them, if Quinn was willing to share.

Cinder dominated this conversation far less, and now Quinn was more than willing to chatter away too!

It was strange, the pair didn't have all that much in common, but they just LOVED hearing about the other person's interests!

In fact, faster than the benevolent god had thought was possible in the sims without special traits, skills, or cheats, and just one conversation in, Quinn and Cinder were deeply bonded. Quinn had officially become Cinder's closest friend!

Even though Cinder was still decked out in Uncle Ellis' magical jewels, including la pièce de résistance, they hadn't been charged up for the night. This was all natural chemistry!

Now that he knew Quinn better, Cinder felt comfortable going for a little more... He'd never done anything like it before, but suddenly he wanted to try a little flirting.

Apparently the "Charm" name his dad had given him wasn't for nothing! The singular awkward flirtation took Quinn's breath away!

Quinn seemed pretty into it, but Cinder found himself suddenly unsure. So, they dialed it back to casual conversation, and promptly got lost in talk again.

The pair were so engrossed in their conversation, they didn't notice everyone else was leaving!

When they finally realised prom was ending, Cinder managed to convince Quinn to step into the photobooth with him. He was going to need irrefutable evidence that tonight hadn't been a dream!

Quinn was already used to Cinder's peculiarities, and though they were a bit hesitant, they granted his request. Everyone needs mementos of a magical night, after all.

~Disney Villian Legacy Challenge~

I love how random the Disney Princess Legacy Challenge is, but I kind of dislike how there isn't a lot of focus on all of the ICONIC villains of the stories!

So, I came up with a list of Disney villains that are related to the protagonist either biologically or through marriage. This isn't play-tested, but it's too fun not to share. This challenge would have you be VERY involved with ALL of the members of the Family.

BASE GAME FRIENDLY

Gen 1 - Hades 

Jealous, annoyed, and DONE with his younger brothers, Zeus and Poseidon, Hades finally has enough and decides to move out of the Family home and achieve his dream of being a writer! Maybe along the way, he’ll find love (or something close).

Once Upon A Time:

 Finally out on his own as a successful man with his beautiful wife Persephone and his daughter Megara, Hades finally feels right in the world until he gets the call from his sister-in-law Hera that his brother Posideon has died mysteriously from eating poorly made pufferfish and left behind two runts Triton and Ursula! No one else in the family wants them, so you begrudgingly invite them into your home. Triton is just as annoying as your late brother, but you and Ursala get on fairly well here, also having the evil trait. She seems to be a little spell caster, too!

Gen 2 - Ursula

Ursula has always been an ambitious young lady who wants to be on top of the world!

Her twin Triton, having inherited all of their father's money as his favorite child Triton, never has to work a day in his life! So he’s shacked up with some girl named Athena and is shaggin his way to have a school of SEVEN guppies! Athena’s a bitch, though,, and Ursula couldn’t have been happier when she died young. :)

A few years later when, Ursula finds out that her youngest niece has gone off and fallen in love with some boy whose already got a girlfriend. HER daughter! She’s had enough taken from her by her brother and his family!  She’s not going to let this little mermaid girl take this from her daughter! A happy ending for her and her little girl.

Not being able to join a Business career like his brother Scar turns to crime. Along the way, he has a few love affairs and ends up with three boys. Selfishly Scar wants the ‘best’ for his sons and goes on to murder his brother and takes his place as the ‘Man of the House’. Moving in, his son's Scar lives a good life having taken everything from his Brother.

Marrying for money seems to be a tradition in Meredith's family, and she’s always been up for a Family activity. Meridth is a hot young woman who knows it! Now, she wants to put what her Mama gave her to work.

Gen 1. Snow White #1.5 Prologue

Snow's mother Gemma dies when she is an early teen. King Georg rebounds with Evil Queen (yes, that's her name) who promptly proposes to him. After he rejects her despite being smitten (there must have been some spellcrafting at work by the Watcher), Evil (the Watcher) uses cheats to make them get married. Very soon after, Georg dies of some mysterious poisoning, and now floats around wafting green fumes, cross-stitching and "cheating" on Evil with Gemma's ghost, his first true love.  Snow suffers at the hands of Evil Queen, but her ghastly parents are unable to intervene other than to provide some occasional companionship.

Requirements and My Loose Interpretation:

Have an awful relationship with your stepmother who makes you do all the cooking and housework. More or less, since butlers were mostly useless.

Never leave your home neighborhood. I'm imagining Medieval High is in the Bramblewood...

Meet a teen sim in your neighborhood who you build a friendship and romance with, but never kiss/woohoo. Poor Florian missed his chance, but he never gave up reaching out to Snow after she disappeared.

Move into a cottage as a YA, and have no social interaction with anyone (including no contact with stepmother or boyfriend). This includes never answering the door to strangers. I didn't let Florian in, but Mateo (butler, I guess he wasn't useless after all) and Georg just let themselves in, and I was in tears, so grateful for the help because the 7 toddlers nearly killed me.

Adopt 7 toddlers (dwarves) in one go. Give the children traits that match their dwarf persona. Meet the Dwarfs

Never eat apples or anything to do with apples. Did you know cooking fruit salad shows an animation with apples? I did not. Oops. Also... I break this one only once more in the story :).

When the dwarves are teens, you can finally meet your partner again. As soon as I possibly could without intervening...

Get married and move into your lover's castle. Check!

Have one daughter (Cinderella). Check!

Master parenting and baking skills. Check!

Complete Big Happy Family Aspiration. Check!

up until this point, tiana was hoping to move out soon to start her independent life. she was feeling quite trapped in a cottage with a family of six. but after losing snow, with two younger sisters who were still in grade school, she couldn't leave her big brother to carry all the burden. she started working at a bistro and they all clinged together to stay afloat.

in the meanwhile, evie delgato was extremely sweet to thelo. as soon as she heard of snow's passing, she called him to meet to talk. they were getting closer, and soon became a very sweet couple.

Part 31

Cinder was beyond surprised when a random sim at the prom invited him out for an after party! Maybe seeing him and Quinn interacting had earned him some admirers? Of course he said yes, and invited Quinn along.

Just like the last prom, Cinder was the only sim to seem excited. In fact, Quinn might have been regretting agreeing to tag along...

Well, they didn't regret it as much as other attendees. Somehow no one seemed prepared for the cold, and half the group dropped out.

The sim who'd invited Cinder did their best to keep everyone together and entertained, but alas, overestimated their musical ability. Even more of the group mysteriously disappeared.

Cinder had only taken his eyes off of Quinn for a moment, but they'd quickly wandered off by themself. He found them by the iceskating rink, testing the edges.

Cinder apologized for the rough outing. He was starting to learn people weren't as acclimated to the cold as he and Uncle Ellis were. But maybe they could still have a fun time?

Cinder had always wanted to try ice-skating! And with the bonus of hanging out with his new practically bff, it was sure to be a lot of fun!

Neither sim had any experience, and ended up filling the rink with sounds of yelps, chuckles, shouted warnings, and groans.

Unfortunately, two skating newbs + an incoming blizzard is a hazard, as the duo quickly learned. They were lucky to escape with their lives!

Free of their ice skates, Cinder thanked Quinn for the lovely evening. he hadn't had this much fun in ages! Quinn was so much fun to be around! Cinder could confidently say, he loved Quinn!

Quinn... smiled half-heartedly at the compliments. And didn't say anything back.

The next second a fierce wind blew, and before Cinder knew it, Quinn was gone. He did his best to peer through the dark and the snow for his friend, but found nothing.

Cinder wandered until he found another sim, and asked if they knew where Quinn had gone. But the sim just turned away in disgust, and closed up shop right in Cinder's face.

There was nothing to be done. The blizzard was officially underway, blanketing sight and sound. Cinder would have to leave and try to find Quinn another day, or risk freezing to death.

When he made it back home, Cinder couldn't stop smiling to himself. He'd totally forgotten it was new years! He'd missed the entire celebration with his family! He hadn't even noticed midnight coming and going! He hadn't even had time for a resolution. Still, all Cinder could think about was Quinn, and the wonderful night who's memory he would treasure.

Inside, the pets were starting to get worried. They boy was never gone from home at this time! And never gone for so long! They would have to go search for him!

Cinder came in to assure them everything was fine! He was ok! They could all stay out of the snow!

Cinder was very grateful to have such a loving, loyal gang to come home to. He needed somebody to talk to about the night!

Cinder let out all his mushy gushy feelings in a big Cindy squeeze. Cindy thought her boy was being super weird, but he seemed happy. And that was all that mattered.

They're not getting a full wedding, but I wanted to take couple photos of what they would have worn... and how their honeymoon would have started if they hadn't rushed into marriage and gotten exiled. Instead, their honeymoon will have a very different trajectory.

A/N: As you have already seen, I am not forcing myself to stick to the physical appearances of the actual Disney princesses. Each heir's skin, hair, and eye color will be randomized from their parents' genetics. All the heirs' names will be double-names, because it seems fun, I've never done it before, and it's a way to include each princess' name while acknowledging that they, likely, will not reflect their namesakes' appearances. I also made Winter-Snow a vampire.

Winter-Snow had always been the apple of her parents' eyes. They doted on her endlessly, and though they were different from their neighbors, raised her to give back to their little community.

The kindness the Whites gave freely wasn't returned to them.

After the sudden and tragic death of her parents, Winter-Snow began receiving letters threatening her life as well. They were anonymous, and despite pleading with neighbors and the local police, no one helped her discover the identity of her stalker. The vampiric Whites may have loved their community, but their community could not love such creatures.

With no family left, and fearing for her life, Winter-Snow sold everything she had, and moved deep into the woods, far from her hometown. She purchased a quaint little cottage, a white llama named Apple, and filled her days with gardening, cross-stitch, candle-making, knitting, and painting.

She still longed for connection, so she made an effort to get to know Vladislaus Straud, whom she had previously only known distantly as an acquaintance of her parents. They began an affair, resulting in a pair of twin boys, Doc and Grumpy. And though they still don't have an official relationship, Winter-Snow continues to seek Vlad's company. She's pregnant again.

Though Winter-Snow is too paranoid to welcome strangers knocking on her door, she was less suspicious about an email from someone claiming to be a long-lost relative. The DNA test was legit. So, she invited her new cousin, Nadia White, to stay over at her cottage. Unwise, perhaps, but Nadia is only a human. How dangerous could she really be?
