Been thinking about alternatives to extremely popular ships and the concept of the multiverse lately. As much as I like the Galar OT3 I've been thinking about the multiverse and the ones where Raihan and Leon end up with other people. Likely soulmates, in the vast majority of timelines they end up as lovers. And you can really see why! What factors aligned to leave them content with their close friendship this time? What bug-type in Kanto flapped its wings and let us fall in love instead?

Would thier lovers feel fear that they stand in the way of something bigger than themselves and will be thrown aside accordingly by fate if they ever somehow knew? The power of saying, fuck destiny and the common ending, in THIS universe, I chose you and haven't regretted it for a moment. That's the only thing that will ever matter.

Headcanon

Bane is built of practical muscle. While he does obviously and somewhat enthusiastically practice body building, it is not in the way that competition body builders do. It’s closer to the way that line backers do. Like any other territorial predator, Bane’s body is built to protect himself by dominating others. He’s thick and heavy, but he’s also very tall and long-bodied. I often describe him as a big cat, because he essentially is one.

AWESOME CHARACTER TBH he's so silly. And also interesting disabillity allegory ( to me) he's such a subtly lonely character its awesome.. I feel like at the end of the anime specifically he got a bit sidelined but ig it makes sense since he was blacking out a bunch but he had some awesome scenes too... being made of metal so long he probably struggles with not being 'strong enough' for the people around him at times.. awesome character

oh OH I TALKED ABT THIS A LITTLE A FEW DAYS AGO.. the way he does alchemy.. MAN after he remembers The Truth and can do it whenever? The way it contrasts Ed is so funny. Ed is very structural and industrial while alphones litterally makes giant hands and fists out of rubble its SO COOL. He's so creative what the hell. I can't imagine how much more difficult it would be to alchemise a rock shaped into a hand rather than. A rock shaped rock like Ed does
