#DODGE DART 2016 HOW TO#
#DODGE DART 2016 CODE#
This process requires a special programming machine that only an automotive locksmith or the dealer has. All transponder chip keys and/or smart key fobs need to be programmed. Some require programming, and some don’t. Q: Dodge Dart key programming – which keys can you program yourself? Which keys require a programming tool? & moreĪ: Dodge Dart has different types of keys.
#DODGE DART 2016 CODE#
However, as coding is required, you will have to either tow the car to the dealer, or have an automotive locksmith come and code the key on site. For vehicles equipped with a transponder system and/or a remote/intelligent key/fob key, the codes should be available. If your vehicle is older than 10 years, Dodge dealers will no longer have its key code record, so an automotive locksmith will be your only option to get a replacement key. There are however two things to consider: The VIN gives dealers or automotive locksmiths the option of accessing the key code on file – i.e., to cut you a replacement key by code which makes the process fast and easy. Q: Can I get a Dodge Dart key replacement by its VIN?Ī: That depends on the year of manufacture of your car and the type of key you had. (Dodge Dart key fobs usually use CR-2032 battery). Make sure you know the type of battery you need and keep a spare one. Know which battery your Dodge Dart key fob has – These key fobs, like all key fobs, are battery operated. Where you get a key replacement (dealer, automotive locksmith, online, etc.)Įmergency key cut – Make sure they cut it for you and check it works Finally,.In short, replacing a Dodge Dart key can cost between $130 to $350. Q: Dodge Dart key replacement cost – How much does it cost to replace a Dodge Dart key without the original? What is the average price? You can also try and call a few Dodge dealers near your location, but remember that you will need to tow the car there.įinally, make sure you can show ownership of the car by having the necessary documents – title, ID, insurance card, etc. All you have to make sure, is that they carry the right equipment to cut and program your Dodge Dart key. Their distance as you see on the map, is their business address, not their physical and current location. Therefore, depends on your location, it might be a good idea to expand your search and call for a few additional quotes, even if on the map, these locksmiths seems to be far from you.Īll Dodge key fobs and transponder keys must be coded with the car on-site Remember, The VIN helps the locksmith or dealer verify the year, make, and model of the car and determine which key you had.Īlso, keep in mind that many locksmiths offer mobile service and travel up to 30 miles radius from where their store is located. In addition, write down the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) of the car located on the left side of the dashboard near the mirror ( Click here for more information).
#DODGE DART 2016 HOW TO#
Q: Dodge Dart key replacement near me – How to find a locksmith or dealer and what should you tell them?įirst, make sure you have the exact year, make, and model, e.g., 2016 Dodge Dart w/Prox. Not ready to call for service just yet? Click here for some GREAT ideas on how to find lost car keys. Therefore, the options for getting a new key made and programmed depend on whether you need a remote, an intelligent fob, push to start button, a transponder, or a regular key.Ī: For a more detailed explanation, including tips on SAVING TIME AND MONEY, please visit our blog post: How to get a replacement key. Dodge key fob must be coded first to start the carĪ word of caution: The type of key you need depends on the year and model of your Dodge Dart.

AN: So, this is just a quick bit of extra content from a series I'm currently working on. If you are interested you can read the series here, but do read the tags. Yeah? It ain't for everyone. I'm working on the final part and this is one of the extra content chapters. Did I project onto Eddie with the tit biting? Let me live! Damn!
•─────⋅ᓚᘏᗢ⋅─────•
Billy ignores Tommy as the guy leaves. His entire focus is on Munson. The guy circles him, face blank, eyes searching, looking, analyzing. Billy knows the guy is noticing too much, way too much. He glares back, dares Munson to say something.
Munson stops and hums. “We haven’t really met each other, have we? I’m Eddie Munson."
Billy snorts, he knows enough about Munson already. “King Freak and the team's fag whore."
Munson just laughs at him. It’s sincere, amused. And then he stops abruptly and stares at Billy without blinking. Billy is tense immediately. And then Munson is walking towards him, leaning forward, too close, uncaring of Billy’s personal space. Billy jerks back. There’s something unsettling about the guy. There’s something to Munson that tells Billy that he wouldn’t fight fair. Billy knows the type. The type that doesn’t fight for the fun of it. The type that doesn’t even fight to win. No. No, Munson is the type that fights only to survive. Step after step Billy dodges Munson, keeping the guy out of his personal space. It isn’t until his back hits the wall that he realizes Munson was herding him and... and like an absolute idiot, Billy just let him.
There’s nowhere else for Billy to go and Munson is way too close. Billy glares at the guy, flexes his arms, widens his stance and prepares for a fight.
Munson hums. “Takes one to know one I guess,” he says slowly, eyes darting to one of the visible hickeys on Billy’s neck.
Immediately Billy is tense, teeth bared, daring Munson to do something, to say something. “What do you want freak?” Billy snaps at the guy, at the end of his patience.
Munson tilts his head, rocks on his heels. “You said you aren’t affected by pissing me off. So...” he trails off, just to further annoy Billy.
“So what freak?” Billy snaps at him, not in the mood to play any games with the asshole.
And then Munson is in his space, hands on the wall boxing Billy in. Billy’s shoulders jerk up as Munson leans in, his head falling forward, near, warm breath on Billy’s ear and neck. “So... How about I show you what you are missing out on?” Munson whispers into his ear.
Billy snorts and relaxes, leans against the wall more comfortably, catches the side of Munson’s grin. “Yeah? You wanna show me why the team gets in a tizzy the second you start ignoring them?” Munson leans back so he can fully grin at Billy.
“Well yes, but also let’s make a game of it. What do you say?"
Billy grins back. “What do you have in mind freak?”
Eddie licks his lips slowly and Billy follows the movement. “I gotta keep blowing you until you apologize.”
Billy’s eyebrow pops up at that, something is not quite right there, that can’t be all of it. “I don’t see how you can win this little game of yours.”
Eddie’s grin turns impish at that. “That’s the thing, Hargrove, you don’t get to cum until you apologize. Let’s see who lasts longer.”
Billy grins back, there’s no way for him to lose, not really. “Alright, let’s see what you’ve got.”
And then Eddie’s lips are on his skin, right behind his ear, in a soft kiss, tongue darting out for a taste, a tease. Eddie’s lips trail down Billy’s neck, pulling on the skin gently, carefully, teeth scraping over sensitive spots, tongue licking over old hickeys. One hand falls to Billy’s shoulder, trails down, unbuttons all the buttons it finds, fingers tracing newly revealed skin, feather-light. Billy fights shivers, swallows groans, forces his breath to remain steady.
“What are you doing, Munson?”
“Turning you on,” Munson says into Billy’s skin, breath warm, sending goosebumps down his arms. “You ever tried sucking on a flaccid cock? It ain’t fun,” Munson tells him and then bites down, leaving a bruise of his own at the base of Billy’s neck.
Billy groans. “Don’t say flaccid,” what a disgusting word.
Munson laughs into his skin, tickling Billy. His hand trails further down, down to Billy’s cock. Hand cupping the hardening bulge, squeezing and rubbing. “Sorry,” Eddie says as his lips trail down to Billy’s chest. Billy finally lets out a loud groan... and then Munson bites down, hard.
“Ow! What the fuck?” Billy jerks away from the pain, but the fucking wall is right there.
Eddie laughs. “Sorry. Sorry. Just wanted to bite down, they are so firm.” And then he’s on his knees and undoing Billy’s belt and pulling the zipper down. Billy’s breathing picks up. He looks up at Billy, catches his eyes, grins wide. “Let me make it up to you,” he says with a completely unnecessary wink that makes Billy roll his eyes.
Eddie looks back down and pulls Billy’s pants down, letting his cock spring up, already half-hard. Eddie’s hand encircles the base, squeezing tight. “Really?” Eddie glances up at Billy from under his brow, grin salacious. “No underwear?” Billy’s breath stutters in his lungs. And then Eddie is swallowing him down, all the way, with no pause, no hesitation.
Billy fights down a scream, turns it into a whine, hips twitching. He feels like a raw nerve, too sensitive, too responsive, body still ruined from yesterday. He realizes he won’t be winning this. He looks down, hand flying up to his mouth to muffle his noises as Eddie sucks his cock and pulls back, tongue pressing against the underside of Billy’s cock, pushing it up against the ridges on the roof of Eddie’s mouth. Eddie pulls all the way back, leaving only the head in. Munson glances up at Billy, tongue playing with Billy’s slit, eyes filled with amusement.
Billy realizes Munson knew. He knew what happened yesterday, knew Billy would still be too sensitive. Billy realizes he’s been played. There’s no way for him to win this. Eddie sucks him back down, Billy’s cock sliding down his throat easily. Billy bites down on his palm. Muffles a groan. He’s already too sensitive, already on the edge.
Eddie works him up easily, turning him into a whining mess. Eddie isn’t just good at sucking dick, no, the fucker also enjoys it. Billy barely holds in his noises, muffles the escaped ones with his palm. Eddie’s mouth is so, so warm, it sucks Billy’s whole cock down so, so easily. Billy’s hips keep twitching. Eddie keeps one hand on a hipbone, pinning Billy to the wall, his other hand is squeezing Billy’s base tightly, stopping him from cumming. Tears spring to Billy’s eyes as he’s kept on the edge. Fuck he can’t.
“P-please,” he stutters out, he needs to cum. Hips trying to follow Eddie’s mouth.
Eddie glances up and pops off his cock. “That’s sweet, but not the word I’m looking for, big boy,” Eddie speaks into Billy’s slit, breath a warm tickle, a tease. Billy’s thighs shake. Eddie grins. “Come on, you know how to end this, sweetheart,” and with that, he’s swallowing Billy back down.
Billy screams into his hand.
It’s so much, too much. His cock feels raw. He’s too sensitive for this. As much as he’d like for this to go on, for this sweet torture to continue, he can’t. He can’t handle it anymore. It’s too soon. Eddie is pulling back up again.
“I-I’m s-sorry! Fuck!” Eddie hums his approval right around Billy’s cock. “Shit!” Billy groans, throat clicking shut. Fuck. Fuck, that is too good, too much.
Eddie lets go hand gliding to Billy’s other hip to pin him in place firmly as he sucks Billy down one final time. Billy’s mouth falls open as he cums silently, right down Eddie’s throat. His breath stutters as he breathes in, knees giving out, but Eddie is there, holding Billy up as he catches his breath. He comes back to himself to Eddie’s soft murmurs and his hand running up and down Billy’s sides.
Billy scoffs. “Get off me...” he growls out softly, pushing the guy away, done with the babying.
Munson just laughs but goes easily anyway. “Already did that,” he says with a grin as he steps away and Billy groans at the shitty humor.
Billy takes a moment, takes one deep breath before he starts putting himself back together before he pushes away from the wall. His knees still feel way too weak, but hell if he’ll let Munson know that. Munson watches him casually, lighting a fresh cigarette as Billy steps away.
“Guess you are good for something,” he says, hoping for some kind of reaction. He’s disappointed when Munson just shrugs at him.
“We’ve all got our strengths,” he comments, casual and relaxed. Billy scoffs at him.
“Guess I’ll be seeing you around.”
Munson grins at him and does a showy exaggerated bow. “This humble bard is delighted to be of service to Your glorious Grace.”
Billy rolls his eyes at the idiot and leaves without a word.

But avoid the very cheapest for poor reliability. Do compact cars have good crash test ratings? Most score well in crash testing with abundant airbags and structural improvements. But due to small size, they fare worse than larger vehicles on occupant protection. Are compact cars good for tall drivers? It depends on the model, but many compact cars works for taller drivers if you prioritize headroom and a telescoping wheel. Test drive candidate vehicles. Which compact car has the most cargo space? The Kia Forte sedan offers an expansive 15.3 cubic feet of trunk volume - impressive for the class. The hatchback has even more space. What are the sportiest compact cars? The sportiest compacts are the Subaru WRX, Volkswagen GTI, Hyundai Veloster, and Mazda3. All offer turbo engines, agile handling, and performance upgrades. Key Compact Car Takeaways Compact cars offer efficiency and value in a smaller, maneuverable package Focus on recommended reliable models like Corolla, Civic, Impreza Prioritize safety ratings and advanced driver aids in your selection Compare gas mileage between models - most compacts get 30+ MPG Consider trade-offs for interior room, power, noise, safety versus larger cars Test drive top contenders to assess comfort, visibility, seating, and cargo space Compact cars present an appealing blend of value, efficiency, and utility for many buyers. Take time to evaluate dimensions, features, driving dynamics, and ownership costs as you find your perfect small car fit. #Wiack #Car #CarInsurance #CarRental #CarPrice #AutoLoans

So uh, some good news and bad news.  (Kinda depends how y’all wanna look at it really.)  I might not get around to doing a whole lot on here today despite my attempts to set aside today for catching up on shit from Thanksgiving week.  That’s the bad news.
The good news, is it’s cuz I’m going with the boyfriend to sign for our almost brand new car and it’s at a dealership back in our hometown.

#10: Trevor Belmont [Castlevania]
Tumblr media
Time to finish this little special with the man, the myth, the drunken legend of the series, Trevor Belmont of the House of Belmont. Poor Treffy, saved for last, and with such a long delay. Well, let's see what he brings into the game!
Next Time: Nothing like the refreshing taste of coffee with honey, eh?
Y'all know the drill. Let's examine what we need to make Trevor shine on the battlefield:
Whip It Good: The main weapon of the main man. Trevor's proficiency with the whips goes beyond the bedroom. He's precise enough to poke a guy's eye out. He's also pretty good with, well, anything he can find, including tavern mugs, rakes, or just his very own fists.
Monster Lore & Tactics: Now, Trevor himself said he's not been that keen on learning from his family's library, but we see him dropping bits and pieces of that monster hunter's lore. He also can sense magic and lead untrained villagers against a night creature attack.
Fancy Feet: Trevor is quite agile, able to keep up with Alucard's super-speed, climb up trees with ease, and do some nice tricks with his whip... and of course, reflexes like a cat!
Tumblr media
---
There's nothing troublesome about Trevor's race; just like Sypha, he's Human. Humans (Variant) get a +1 to two abilities, let's get Dexterity and Constitution, proficiency in one skill their choice (Acrobatics), they know Common and one additional language, and they can take a feat. Tavern Brawler gives us several benefits, fit for a rough-and-tumble monster hunter:
We increase our Strength or Constitution by 1;
We are proficient with improvised weapons (which means anything from broken glass to a dead vampire can be our weapon now);
Our unarmed strikes now use a d4 for damage instead of our Strength modifier;
When we hit a creature with an unarmed strike or an improvised weapon, we can use our Bonus Action (instead of Action) to grapple a target.
Since Trevor is the last member of the House of Belmont, and stores quite a number of artefacts and knowledge in the Belmont Hold, I think the Inheritor background from Sword Coast: Adventurer's Guide fits him well. We gain proficiency with Survival and one other skill from the list (let's get History), we learn one more language, proficiency in a gaming set or a musical instrument, and we get the Inheritance feature, which lets us create the Belmont Hold. Work out the details with your DM.
ABILITY SCORES
Our main ability will be Dexterity, it will work great when we get our whip. Constitution is next, we can take a few punches and we sober up pretty quick. Trevor loves his ale, much to Sypha's annoyance. Follow that up with Strength; some of Trevor's weapons use that instead of Dexterity.
Wisdom is next, we know what to do when fighting night creatures, even with common household objects. Intelligence is a little low, but Trevor himself said he was never really a fan of learning and doesn't know much about magic. Finally, we're going to drop Charisma... Trevor's social skills are lacking, and there's a reason he's the main himbo of the show.
CLASS
Level 1 - Fighter: We start off simply, as a Fighter. Our Hit Dice is a d10, and we start with [10 + Constitution modifier] Hit Points. We get proficiency with light armour, medium armour, heavy armour, shields, simple weapons, and martial weapons. Although we don't really see Trevor donning any protections (Giggity), we could assume give him leather or studded leather armour, and of course a whip as his main weapon. Our saving throws are Strength and Constitution, and we get to pick two class skills: let's get Intimidation and Perception.
Fighters begin by choosing their Fighting Style, and similarly to Alucard, we're going to pick Duelling. It gives us a +2 to our damage rolls if we're using only one weapon in hand.
Tumblr media
We also get Second Wind, which lets us heal for [1d10 + our Fighter level] once per short or long rest, as a bonus action.
Level 2 - Fighter: At this level, we gain Action Surge. Once per short or long rest, we can take extra Action on our turn.
Level 3 - Fighter: This is where we select our subclass, our Martial Archetype, and what else fits a Belmont other than Monster Hunter from 2016 Unearthed Arcana. Starting as a Monster Hunter, we get some skill proficiencies (pick Insight and Investigation), and Combat Superiority feature. We get four d8 Superiority Dice, which we can use for a number of different benefits:
When making a weapon attack against a creature, we can roll a Superiority Die and add the result to the attack roll.
When making a weapon attack against a creature, we can roll a Superiority Die and add the result to the damage roll.
When we're making an Intelligence, a Wisdom, or a Charisma saving throw, we can roll a Superiority Die and add the result to the roll.
When making an Insight check or a Perception check, we can roll a Superiority Die and add the result to the roll.
We regain all expended Superiority Dice after finishing a short or long rest. We gain additional die at the 7th and 15th level.
With Hunter's Mysticism, we can cast Detect Magic as a ritual spell. Trevor was able to smell lingering traces of magic on artefacts and in locations. Once per long rest we can also cast Protection from Evil and Good, with Wisdom as our spellcasting ability. In addition, we learn a language wielded by supernatural creates: Abyssal, Celestial, or Infernal.
Level 4 - Fighter: Time to get our first Ability Score Improvement! Let's put one point in Wisdom, and the other in Strength.
Level 5 - Monk: Jumping into a more nimble class for a moment. At their 1st level, Monks get Unarmoured Defence, which makes our AC equal to [10 + Dexterity modifier + Wisdom modifier], provided we're not wearing armour.
With Martial Arts, we increase our hand-to-hand combat capabilities, which works pretty well with our Tavern Brawler feat. We can use Dexterity instead of Strength for our unarmed strikes and monk weapons. When we use an unarmed strike/monk weapon as an Attack, we can make two unarmed strikes as a bonus action.
Level 6 - Monk: We get access to the Ki energy. Starting with 2 Ki Points, we gain access to the following abilities:
Flurry of Blows lets us spend 1 Ki Point to make two unarmed strikes as a bonus action;
Patient Defence burns 1 Ki Point to let us take the Dodge action as a bonus action;
Step of the Wind doubles our jump distance and lets us take the Dash or Disengage action as a bonus action.
At this level, we also get Unarmoured Movement. Our ground speed increases by 10 feet, provided we're not wearing armour.
Tumblr media
Level 7 - Monk: Here, we pick our second subclass, our Monastic Tradition. With Trevor, who is undoubtedly the master of all weaponry, going with Way of the Kensei is an obvious choice. The Kensei Monks take training with their weapons to a whole new level, and the Path of the Kensei feature presents that perfectly. We get to choose two weapons: one melee and one ranged (whip and darts), those become our Kensei Weapons that gain special properties as we level up in this class. We gain three Kensei benefits when we choose this subclass:
Agile Parry gives us +2 on our AC if we have a Kensei weapon in our hand, and if on our previous turn we used it/made an unarmed strike.
Kensei's Shot lets us use a bonus action to improve our ranged weapons (we've seen Trevor using throwing knives, so darts seem to be the best equivalent). When we use our ranged attack, we can add 1d4 to our damage roll. We retain this property until the end of our turn.
Way of the Brush: We gain proficiency with either calligrapher's supplies or painter's supplies.
At this level, we also gain Deflect Missiles ability. If we're hit by a ranged attack (not a spell), we can use our reaction to reduce the damage by [1d10 + our Dexterity modifier + our Monk level]. If we manage to reduce the damage to 0, we catch the projectile, and we can use our reaction to make a ranged attack (20/60) with it.
Level 8 - Monk: We get another ASI! Let's put one point in Wisdom and another in Dexterity.
We also get Slow Fall. If we're falling, we can use our reaction to reduce the falling damage by [our Monk level x5].
Cat reflexes.
Level 9 - Fighter: Coming back to Monster Hunter, we get the Extra Attack feature. We can now attack twice instead of once when using our Action to attack.
Level 10 - Fighter: Halfway through the build, and it's time to get another ASI. We shall put another point into Dexterity and one into Charisma, to slowly get rid of the negative modifier.
Level 11 - Fighter: We get our first Monster Hunter upgrade. With Monster Slayer, whenever we expend one Superiority Die for whatever benefit, we can instead expend two. The Dice are expended as they normally would, but if the target is an aberration, a fey, a fiend, or an undead, we add the maximum number to the damage.
Level 12 - Fighter: Another ASI! Let's put +2 to our Dexterity to max it out (and actually giving our whip decent damage).
Level 13 - Monk: We jump back to Kensei for a second. This level would give Monks Extra Attack, but we already have that feature from the Fighter. If your DM agrees, pick the optional class feature, Focused Aim, from Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. When we miss an attack, we can spend from 1 to 3 Ki Points to get +2 to our attack per each Point, to potentially turn the miss into a hit.
We also get Stunning Strike: when we hit our target with a melee weapon attack, we can spend 1 Ki Point to attempt to stun it. The target has to make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + our proficiency bonus + our Wisdom modifier) or be stunned until the end of our next turn.
It is also at this Monk level (6th) that our Martial Arts die changes from a d4 to a d6,
Level 14 - Monk: Our punches become extra punchy with Ki-Empowered Strikes. From this point onwards, our unarmed strikes count as magical for the purposes of overcoming resistances and immunities to non-magical damage.
We also get an upgrade to the Kensei subclass. Thanks to One with the Blade we now get access to the Morningstar whip.
Tumblr media
Our weapon attacks now count as magical, for the purpose of overcoming resistances and immunities. Additionally, once per turn, when we hit a creature with our weapon, we can add extra damage equal to our Martial Arts die roll.
At this level, our Unarmoured Movement gains extra 5 feet.
Level 15 - Fighter: At this level of Fighter, we get the Indomitable feat. Now we can re-roll a failed saving throw once per long rest. We have to use the new roll, even if it is lower.
Level 16 - Fighter: We get another subclass upgrade with Improved Combat Superiority. Our Superiority Dice change from a d8 into a d10.
Level 17 - Fighter: At this level, we get additional Extra Attack. We can now attack three times, whenever we use the Attack action on our turn. That gives us a possibility of up to six attacks when combined with Action Surge.
Level 18 - Fighter: Time for another ASI. Let's put one point into Charisma and one into Wisdom.
Level 19 - Fighter: Our Indomitable feature improves to two uses per long rest.
Level 20 - Fighter: Our capstone is Fighter 14, and we end it with an ASI. We put one point into Wisdom... and I hate to leave an odd number, but we have to distribute it somewhere. Let's put it into Intelligence.
---
We've got Trevor Belmont. Let's see how he turned out:
To start off, we've got a really good defence. With an AC of 18, +5 to our initiative, and 45 feet of ground speed, we have a pretty good battlefield presence. We also have 181 Hit Points on average, so we can take a punch or two from a vampire.
Unfortunately, we have to manage our resources with five Superiority Dice and six Ki Points, making sure they don't fly by. We also are pretty vulnerable to Charisma and Intelligence saving throws.
---
And that is it, that's all for the Castlevania trio. Once again, I am accepting requests for any fictional character you wish to see, and if not - we're going back to SMITE gods. That's it for now, tune in next time!
- Nerdy out!

Nat’s Plan (Part 1/2)
Summary: When a recon mission in Lagos goes sideways, Sam and Bucky have to find a creative way to slip away from terrorist agents without causing another international incident. To do so, Bucky suggests they use one of Natasha’s old plans that helped her and Steve dodge HYDRA agents back in 2014. In other words, I can’t help my obsessive need to write about the kiss-to-hide-in-plain-sight trope for Sambucky.

Lagos, Nigeria - 2024
The last time Sam Wilson was in Lagos, was eight years ago in 2016. He, Steve, Nat, and Wanda were on a mission to get a bioweapon out of the hands of Brock Rumlow and his merry gang of ex-Hydra agents which should have been successful. Technically, it was successful - minus the international incident that ensued when Steve didn’t clock a bomb vest and Wanda accidentally blew up a building trying to stop the blast. Maybe semi-successful was a more appropriate word.
Regardless of Sam’s interpretation of the events, the US government and SWORD took extra time and care to warn Sam, Torres, and specifically Bucky Barnes that this trip to Lagos was meant to be incident-free. No super suits, no guns, no knives, no weapons of any kind unless absolutely necessary.
After everything with John Walker over the past few months, Sam thought it was a good idea for Captain America to not go in guns blazing. Yes, they were trying to stop a new terrorist cell, but if Sam could use this trip to gather intel that would help stop them without exposing the Nigerian people to even more threats, then that would appease the government and his conscience.
For the most part, everything had been going swimmingly. No one had recognized them, they were working incredibly well as a team, and had easily slipped inside the terrorist HQ due to Torres’ ease of hacking into the security cameras, and Bucky’s innate ability to knock people unconscious with ease. Bucky and Sam had even managed to make it through the mission without bickering (at least, not more than the usual acceptable amount).
See, everything was great. Was being the keyword, because, after five minutes of trying to hack the cell’s computer to retrieve the data they needed on their upcoming attacks, Bucky got a little too impatient and accidentally tripped an alarm.
Sam groaned and threw his head back, “You’ve got to be shitting me. You’re the ex-assassin, aren't you supposed to be the stealthy one?”
“An ex-assassin with a metal arm who used to not give a fuck about who saw him coming. I didn’t have to be stealthy as the Winter Soldier, Sam. I just took what I had to and killed anyone who got in my way.” Bucky replied, ripping the flash drive out of the PC the second the last file transferred over. Sam sighed, watching the wave of guilt washing over the soldier’s features.
“Don’t start.” He added, holding up a hand to shush the former PTSD support group leader. “This is not the time for a therapy session.”
Lying, Sam began, “I wasn’t gonna-”
“Yeah, you were. Now, let’s get outta here.” Bucky said, motioning for Sam to follow him over the door.
“Hold on, Cap, let me get the wings, and your suit. I’ll be there ASAP.” Joaquín called over their coms. Sam could hear a rustling in the background like he was tripping over items as he rushed for the wings. Sam knew he had been itching to use them but now was not the time.
“No, stay where you are.” Sam insisted, physically holding his hands out as if he could touch Joaquín. “No suits, no wings, we can handle this.”
“Are you sure about that? ‘Cause according to these cams I hacked, you two are severely outnumbered.”
“He’s got a point, Samuel,” Bucky said, reaching for his gun he had tucked in the back of his jeans. Sam reached out, holding onto Bucky’s right wrist.
“No guns.” Sam’s eyes darted to Bucky’s metal hand inching towards his knife holster, “Or knives. Not yet.”
Bucky rolled his eyes, “then what’s the plan, Cap? Cause you know I hate to admit that the kid is right.”
“A kid that outranks you.” Annoyance flashed across Bucky’s face at Joaquín’s quip, and before he could snap back Sam immediately stepped in by saying, “Alright, Torres use those cameras and find us a route out of this building. If we get out of here first, then we can go from there.”
“On it.” Sam could hear the rapid clicking of keys against Torres’ keyboard, before he said, “Head down that hallway and take the first door on your left.”
With Joaquin’s directions, they two made their way out of the building, only having to fight a few agents (which the partners easily took care of without weapons), but unfortunately, they weren’t the only ones with access to the cameras. More agents were hot on their tails as they burst out one of the side doors. Sam and Bucky took off running, cutting through side streets until they slipped into the crowd at the marketplace.
“We’ve gotta blend in,” Bucky said, immediately stripping off his jacket as they walked, and dumping it on the back of a chair outside a small food stand. Sam couldn’t help but admire the way his flesh and metal arms flexed as the super-soldier revealed that black t-shirt that hugged his chest and biceps in the best possible way. He quickly swallowed, before averting his eyes ahead, only to catch Bucky swipe a pair of sunglasses off a merchant table.
“Woah, what are you doing?” Sam said, gripping Bucky’s army to stop him in his tracks. “You can’t just steal shit, Buck.”
“Now is not the time to lecture,” Bucky said, looking over his shoulder, to see a few agents following them, eyes scanning rapidly scanning the crowd. “We need to hide in plain sight. Dressing like the locals is our best shot to do that.”
“Find another way, besides stealing,” Sam said, taking off his black baseball cap and quickly setting it on a kid’s head that ran while chasing after his friend.
“Fine, hand me your wallet,” Bucky said, extending his metal hand. Sam rolled his eyes before stopping briefly and begrudgingly gave his wallet to the super-soldier. “Good, now take off your jacket.” Without hesitation, the captain slid out of his jacket and tossed it over to Bucky.
Sam watched as Bucky quickly ducked over to an open clothing stall, and greeted a local merchant woman in Yoruba, a smirk spreading across his face as he pointed at a few clothing items and then pointed in Sam’s direction. The woman smiled brightly looking back and forth between the two of them as Bucky handed over a few bills from the wallet along with Sam’s jacket for a short-sleeve button-up shirt with a blue geometric print, a Nigerian football polo, and two brightly colored baseball caps. Bucky said something else quickly, causing the woman to giggle while she placed one of the caps on his head and pinched his cheek.
The entire exchange probably lasted no more than thirty seconds, but Sam couldn’t help but be enthralled in the moment. First, Bucky knew Yoruba? How many languages did he learn as the Winter Soldier? Second, what exactly did he say to that woman to get her light up like a Christmas tree? What did Bucky tell her about him?
“What did you say to her?” Sam asked as Bucky approached quickly.
“I’ll tell you later,” Bucky replied, tossing the polo in Sam’s direction and placing a blue and pink cap on his own head. “Put that on.”
As they continued weaving their way through the crowd, Sam slipped the polo on over his t-shirt. The shirt was a bit snug, hugging his chest tightly. What the hell had Bucky bought him? “Looking good, Samuel,” Bucky said, giving him a once over with a glint in his eyes and a smirk playing on the corners of his mouth. He then threw the button-up over his own short-sleeve shirt (which he didn’t bother to button) and set the other cap on Sam’s head backward. “There you go, now you look like a real local.”
“You know that was one of my favorite jackets that you gave away.”
“Don’t like the shirt I just bought you? I think it suits you. Shows off all those shield throwing muscles.”
“You mean the shirt I just bought me?”
“Semantics.”
“Where are you guys?” Joaquín’s voice called over their earpieces once more.
“Blending in.” Bucky’s smile faded, as he responded. “I count six agents trying to track us. What does the bird say?”
“Redwing,” Torres began, and Bucky could sense the sass rolling off his tongue, “shows six behind you, and six approaching from the front.”
Immediately Bucky stopped them in their tracks and scanned the crowd ahead of them. Sure enough, he could make out six familiarly dressed agents scanning the crowd for them. “Fuck.” Bucky cursed, “Come on.” Before Sam could react, Bucky had grabbed his hand and pulled them into a small alley between two buildings. He had been hoping they could sneak through onto another side street, but no, the alley was a dead-end into another building. “Damnit.” Bucky dropped Sam’s hand, and Sam nearly sighed at the loss of contact.
Bucky groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose, “I think it’s time for guns, Sam.”
“Do you see how many people there are out there? They will all be caught in the crossfire. Do you really want that?” Of course, Bucky didn’t want that. Sam knew - hell was there for - the nightmares Bucky experienced because of people becoming collateral damage for the Winter Soldier. He’d been there to talk Bucky through the aftermath of them when he was willing to talk and fix a cup of coffee or hot tea when he wasn’t. The pain and guilt in his eyes for something he had no control over… that look alone hurt Sam, he couldn’t even imagine how much it hurt Bucky. No, he would not allow Bucky to feel that pain any more than he already was - you know, on top of not harming the civilians. “We need an alternative plan.”
“They’ll be approaching you in about forty-five seconds, Cap. What’s the plan?”
“I have an idea,” Bucky said, looking up at Sam, a look of uncertainty across his face. “Steve told me once about one of Natasha’s plans that they used years back to slip away from Rumlow and the rest of HYDRA’s agents. It could work.”
“One of Nat’s plans? Hell, it’s got to be good. What is it?”
“Don’t know if you’ll be up for it.”
“Buck, we’ve got twelve bullets and a metal arm between the two of us, and I - and the US government - would like to avoid using any of them if possible. If Nat’s plan doesn’t require using those, I’m down. Does it?”
“No guns, no weapons of any kind actually.”
“Alright, then I’m up for it. What’s the plan?”
“Not a lot of time to explain. Really going to just have to show you.”
“Well, go on with it then.”
“Thirty seconds.”
“Do you trust me?” Bucky asked, a question directed only to Sam, sincerity in his eyes.
Do you trust me? What kind of bullshit question is that? Sam thought. Of course, he trusted Bucky. They’d been going on missions together for months since they stopped the flag smashers and they’ve had each other’s sixes constantly since then. He'd welcomed Bucky into his home to be around his family - and practically live there. Sam Wilson trusted Bucky Barnes with his life, with his family’s lives. No questions about it. Attraction (or deep-seated feelings) aside, how could Bucky not know that by now?
“We don’t have time for this, Buck.” Sam protested, peeking around the corner of the alley to look for the approaching agents.
“I need an answer, Sam.”
“Fifteen seconds, whatever you’re going to do, hurry it up!”
Groaning, Sam said, “Fine, yes, I trust you. Now, will you just-“ Before Sam could finish scolding him, Bucky had swiftly pushed the captain back against the brick wall, and covered his lips with his own.
Bucky had his metal hand securely on Sam’s hip, while his flesh had cupped Sam’s left cheek simultaneously holding him in place and pulling him as close to the soldier as possible. To say Sam was surprised was an understatement, but it only took him a few seconds to just let go and relax under Bucky’s touch. Bucky’s lips were wet and warm, and moved effortlessly against Sam’s. Sam wasn’t sure what compelled the super soldier to do this, but at that moment Sam didn’t care. This mission at hand and the approaching agents faded from his thoughts as he melted into the kiss he had secretly been waiting for.
Bucky’s tongue swiped across Sam’s lower lip, asking for entrance, which Sam immediately obliged, letting him deepen their kiss. As he did so, Sam roughly fisted the collar of Bucky's new button-down, tugging him forward as he tried to eliminate any distance between the two. Bucky’s flesh hand ghosted down Sam’s neck, then his left arm, and his side, leaving a trail of goosebumps in its wake before it settled under the hem of Sam’s shirt, before settling on his lower back. The touch sent a shiver up Sam’s spine and he let out a small moan, which Bucky easily swallowed with another kiss.
Sam couldn’t remember the last time that he had been kissed like this - so passionate, yet so gentle. In an attempt to make it a little less so, Sam let go of Bucky’s collar and snaked his hands up to the base of Bucky’s neck, and buried his hands as deeply as he could in his short dark locks, giving them a tug. The moan that followed this action, was much louder than Sam’s, and almost resembled a growl. Damn, Sam loved that sound and knew he’d do anything to make Bucky elicit that sound again, and again.
Bucky responded by kissing Sam harder than before, and pushing himself closer to him, settling his body into between Sam’s legs, as he moved to deepen the kiss once more. He gripped Sam’s hips so hard he was sure they were going to bruise, but Sam loved every second of it.
He didn’t know how long they had been like this - seconds, minutes, hours - it didn’t matter. Time had stopped the moment their lips touched, and everything else around them had faded, which is exactly why Bucky had to be the first to pull away - because Sam wouldn’t have dreamed of it.
Bucky had disconnected their lips, but both of his hands lightly rested on Sam’s hips. “Sam,” he breathed, his words barely coming out above a whisper before he swallowed hard.
Sam loosened his grip on the Sergeant’s shirt but still rested his hands against his chest. “What... was... that?” He asked, a bit dazed. He was breathing heavily and his hooded eyes lingering on Bucky’s pink, slightly swollen lips.
After a moment, Bucky responded, “Public displays of affection make people uncomfortable.” Sam hummed in response, but only because he couldn’t string any other words together. All he was thinking about was that uncomfortable was not the word that he would use to describe what just happened at all. “When I kissed you the agents only looked for a second before turning away and going right past us.”
When did Bucky have time to look for some damn agents during that fucking unbelievable kiss (more like a make-out session if you asked Sam)? “They did?”
“Yeah.” Sam needed a minute to let the words sink in. The kiss was just a part of a plan. Nat’s plan. A kiss as a distraction/cover. Of fucking course that was a Romanoff plan. A damn good plan, but he couldn’t help but feel the sting of thinking that the kiss - that fucking amazing kiss - was supposed to be… strategic.
For weeks he had been battling over this lingering feeling of wanting something more with Bucky than just a partnership… until this moment of crushing realization, it felt like they had possibly moved to the next step.
Then again, if it was just strategic, why was Bucky still so close to him? He hadn’t made any attempt to move away, still holding Sam against the wall - albeit, without the arousing force he had minutes before.
“Do you think they’re all gone?” Sam asked, loosening his grip just enough for his hand to rest on the sides of Bucky’s neck.
“Probably.”
“But not for certain?” Sam questioned, rubbing his thumbs along Bucky’s strong, stubble-covered jawline, and down his throat. His fingers grazed over Bucky’s pulse point, and he could easily feel the artery pounding beneath the surface.
“Would probably need some more recon to confirm that.”
“Well until then, better to be safe than sorry, right?” Sam dared, doing anything he could to get Bucky’s lips back on his. From the way, the soldier’s heart was racing Sam could only hope that maybe, just maybe, Bucky would want to kiss him again, too.
“Right,” Bucky breathed, and without hesitation, leaned forward once again to kiss Sam, only to be interrupted a minute later, by Torres’ voice in their coms calling for their attention.
“Cap, Sarge.” This time, when Bucky pulled away he dropped his hands and took a few steps back, instantly putting a few feet between the two partners. The captain silently cursed Joaquin and his incredibly terrible timing. “I’ve got eyes on them, they’re headed back to base. You should be in the clear.”
“Okay, good,” Bucky said, a little too quickly for Sam’s liking. “We should be back at the safehouse in 20 minutes. Gotta run an alternate route just in case we’re being followed.”
“Got it,” Torres said, signing off.
Bucky quickly removed the earpiece before shoving it deep into his pocket. He looked around the corner, scanning the crowd before motioning for Sam to follow. “Come on, it’s hot as fuck out here, and I need a shower.”
Yeah, me too. A fucking cold one, Sam thought.

AU Blind Murdock Reader x Leonardo-(TMNT2014/2016) Chapter 1
Tumblr media
“This wasn’t how I pictured the night going.”
You grunted, holding your side as you walked through the alley. Crime fighting really wasn’t as fun as everyone seemed to think. There were good days, and then there were days like this, where you’d dodged a bullet, literally. Your most recent engagement wasn’t as simple. What you thought to be just a few drug dealers cutting a deal to sell weapons was in fact an organization moving equipment into the country.
They weren’t especially happy when you blew up their entire shipment. That’s when the gunshots started. You winced at the blood rushing down your arm, clutching the injured limb. Although you managed to avoid any fatal injuries, one of the shots did connect, not to mention you had to fight off half a dozen men just to get out of there. Your body was battered and hurt, the only thing really keeping you up was your sheer will to make it back to your apartment before you passed out on the street from blood loss.
When you hands grazed the wall, you froze, titling your head. “Come out, I know you’re there.” There was nothing but silence for a few moments, then you heard a voice.
“Dudes how did she know we were here, we’re ninjas!” You heard a smack, and then a grumble as the individuals made themselves known.
“One...two, three four..”
Four of them. You straightened your form, Sliding your foot forward slightly, just to get a feel of your environment. If they were a threat, your hope was you could use something close by to fight back. The action gave you a general idea of what was around, it also gave you a slight sense of alarm. The vibrations from their movements weren't making sense.
“These guys are...huge.”
You clenched your fists, ready for anything.
“Stand down, we aren’t trying to pick a fight, My brother saw you struggling, seems you need a hand.”
“What are you?” Their heartbeats were all echoing in sync, and the size couldn’t be real. Maybe your senses were messed up from the beating you’d taken.
“Heh, should have expected that.” Another voice cut in.
“Be nice Raph, she’s hurt.” You were still guarded, and when one of them took a step forward, you braced your hands in front of your face.
“I promise you I won’t hurt you.” You don’t know what was crazier, the fact that these people were apparently giants, or possibly the way you felt reassured by the tenderness of his voice.
“Leo!” you’re head darted in the direction of the voice further away. Leo took a step over to him, and there was another pause.
“You’re blind.” surprise was evident on your face. Your eyes were blocked by the dark cloth, so how did he know. Who were these people? You didn’t like this.
“That’s crazy, how can she be blind, she looks like that picture I was reading about a few days ago. You know the vigilante.”
“We’re the vigilantes numnut!!” Another smack.
“No brah! That daredevil dude, now that I think about it she’s a girl. Everyone thought it was a guy..”
You took a few steps back, and one of them took one in your direction, reaching for you. “Wait you’re bleeding and we-” you grabbed his outstretched hand, raising your other hand to strike him in the chest but it collided with a hard surface. You gasped, pulling back your now bruised knuckles. “W-What the hell…” His chest was as hard as rock. His arm too, it didn’t feel human at all. It felt...scaly.
You needed to think fast. Turning your head, your fingers twitched.
“Sword.”
They all had weapons, but the one to the right had something you could use to get the upper hand. With a swift jump, you used the wall to pivot yourself in the air. As you flipped over, you grabbed the blade right out the strap he had it secured in. He turned in shock and as he moved forward, you pointed it at the other male's neck. Everyone was still.
“How did you do that…”
Now you were going strictly on adrenaline. You could barely feel the throb of the bullet wound in your arm anymore. “I don’t know what the hell you are, hell maybe I’m delirious, but make no mistake, I’m not gonna go down easy.” You pressed the edge of the blade to his throat, and you could feel his adam’s apple bob as he swallowed.
“L-Leo..” This Leo guy must have been the leader.
“Woah...she’s a ninja too dudes!!”
“Are they kids?” This one sounded more excited than scared.
“She better move that damn sword from Donnie’s neck!” This guy was angry, and you heard him gripping at his own weapons.
“Calm down Raph.” He must have been talking to the angry one.
“I’d appreciate it if you didn’t slice up my brother. Here.” When he reaches for his other sword, you hold tightens. He did everything slowly, unsheathing it and placing it slowly on the floor. The one you had hostage dropped his bo staff, and the other did the same, his nunchunks hitting the floor.
There was still one left.
“All of them.” you stated.
“Raph!” There was a grunt, and you finally heard the clanking of two sais on the concrete.
“Okay, now it’s your turn.” you didn’t respond immediately. For a few moments you just tried keeping track of all their positions in case they tried anything. You took a step back, still holding the sword. You heard a sigh of relief when you removed the sharp blade from his throat.
“Now talk.” you demand.
“You must have a hell of a lot of friends with that shitty attitude.” you frowned, raising the sword, and Leo raised his hands. “Come on guys let’s get along.”
“Talk.” you seethed.
“Well, I guess we should start from the beginning. My name is Leonardo, these are my brothers. We’re not your regular family. “
That was an understatement.
Yep, tonight definitely wasn’t turning out how you would have liked.
“Should have just stayed home and watched netflix.”
You were missing Law and Order for this.
“Listen whether you want to accept it or not, you’re hurt. I just want to help. Please.” your hands trembled.
He wasn’t wrong. It was a wonder you were still standing. You supposed your tolerance for pain was getting better everyday.
“You guys aren’t human.” you mutter.
“We’re not.”
Trust wasn’t your strong suit, but you could hear it in his voice, he was telling the truth. If you wanted to live through the night, you would have to go on faith, something you hadn’t done in a while. You winced when a wave of dizziness struck you. Seems the weight of everything was finally kicking in.
“Shit.”
You couldn’t even hold up the blade anymore. That little stunt might have taken out more than you realized. You dropped the sword, and your body was about to meet the same faith, but two strong arms caught you. You wanted to resist, push him away, kick his butt. Anything to get out of this situation, but as it stood, you’d probably lost more than 2 liters of blood by now. You raised your arm weakly to create some distance, but it did nothing. The male holding you scooped you into his arms with a sigh. “I know you’re scared, but no matter what I won’t let you die.”
Your chest was heaving, you could feel yourself slipping because the sound around you was starting to fade.
“Don’t cry.” you had to chant it in your head, because the last time you felt like this was when you found your father after his boxing match. The last one he’d ever done. Giving into the inevitable, you slumped. Body finally giving out from exhaustion.
“Grab your stuff, we have to get her to the lair now!”
“You’re joking, chick tried to cut up Donnie! Just drop her off at a hospital and let someone else deal with her. How do we even know she’s not some criminal.” Raph argued. Leo knew he was more pissed that he’d been forced to surrender than anything. He got his sias, still glaring at your unconscious body. Mikey and Donnie were getting their weapons as well.
“Mikey said she was the vigilante, she’s one of the good guys. She’s so young too. If we carry her to the hospital it’ll blow her cover, just imagine how many people want her dead. She’ll be vulnerable. ” Leo was more than a little stunned. The articles he browsed through, he was sure that it was a man, and someone much older. But it was a girl, around the same age they were, and she was blind.
“Leo’s right, if we don’t help her now she’s gonna die.” Donnie strapped on Leo’s sword since his hands were occupied, and they all followed as Leo took off.
“Hang in there.”
His one hope was he'd be able to help you.
