Some quick shots I took of my new girl with my other lewd faced gals, Audrey and Ria.
I absolutely love dolls that are around the 50-55cm height range. Just the perfect height for me, even better when they have my favorite facial expression to grace a doll face lmao.

Finished the marathon of "Cozy Days Daisy Cardigan" by allaboutami. This took me a long time compared to all of my other projects.
I did join the squares using a flat slip stitch instead of the whip stitch that the pattern calls for.
And I did the front opening with single crochets in back loops, as with cuff ribbing, instead of a slip stitch by the pattern. I saw user photos on Etsy and several had baggy stretched-out looking collars so I wanted to avoid that. I used a much smaller hook too.
So I knew after the stacks of squares were laid out that this wouldn't fit my 58cm Limhwa bodies without more alteration than I was willing to do. Fortunately I have so many dolls now that it was bound to fit somebody as Andrea says. And the older Volks f-11 was the perfect face for the job. (Faceup by @engelmech ) She's on a Dollstown Elf body at the moment.
I am very happy with the look of the result. Though as I mentioned at the beginning, I used thrifted acrylic punch embroidery "yarn" that felt awful and was the devil to work with. I tend to care more about the visuals and the photos than the item itself, so I am satisfied. I would never wear this texture against my skin though ugh. Crispy and rough!
But I didn't want that shiny look of crochet cotton cord you know? I wanted it to look vaguely puffy, not shiny. Crochet cotton is way easier to work with but that's just not what I wanted.
Also I don't know how to block crochet and I don't feel like learning at the moment so pls don't come for me, pro crocheters. I do know it's crumply.

Last week, I came across a two-month old sales post for a hybrid doll. The post mentioned that both the head and body could be sold separately, which was perfect, since I was looking for a body for my Benetia head. The seller asked a very reasonable price and I immediately contacted them about the body. However, just ten minutes after they promised to send me the payment information later that evening, they said that there was already a buyer for both the head and body.
This was quite frustrating, as the post had been up for over two months and I couldn't believe that someone had just happened to buy the whole doll right after I expressed my interest in the body.
If I had seen the post a few days earlier, I could have had this body.
And there are two other bodies for sale that I like. Dollstown elf and Dollchateau boy body. Both are wonderful and quite pricey. And DSAM 32 body.
It's like some kind of bad joke. Just when I promised that I won't buy any more doll in the near future, here they are, popping up like mushrooms after rain.

Fárbauti is back from @shaiel_workshop and she's glorious 👏 and also the only doll so far who looks good in that sin of a wig that's the Volks YoMidi Williams default 🤔 (and my @rangvar helmet fits, bless)
.
She's part of Angrboda's women only army and serves as the right hand woman. Pretty skilled with the more heavy weapons for that satisfying crunch upon hitting the target.
.
Not slated for a body anytime soon tho cause not only money but also space! She's a giant too so she gonna get either a Zaoll or a Dollstown Elf body and my cabinets are full to bursting. Only big doll I can fit is my Batchix Dark Elf and that's it 😂 thankfully tho I can steal my Mom's Zaoll body 😬
.
💬 Fárbauti is a @eviexm Nandi on a Zaoll body

More photos of my Dollstown Soyu, Aldyn, as well as some pictures of my plans for him! He’s my D&D character, and he lost his left hand in our fourth game session, so I’ll be painting his left hand to look like jointed metal and adding a cuff with small buckles to give him the prosthetic he has later in the game. I also want to commission someone to make his outfit that I designed, as shown in the first picture.
I really, really love the Dollstown elf body. It’s a “female” body, but Aldyn is a trans man in a setting where surgery isn’t available. The breasts are so small they pretty much disappear under clothing, so it works just fine for a trans man who binds his chest. My favourite thing about the body is the cutouts in the thighs that allow for cute kneeling and curled up poses. Aldyn likes to curl up with his legs tucked under him so it’s perfect for him. The body has really cute feet as well, they’re shaped sort of like high heel feet so they can pose on tiptoe.
When I first saw the pale tan skintone I worried it might look too dark, but with a little adjustment to the levels in the photos it matches his design pretty closely.
I haven’t been this excited over a new doll in quite a while!

Getting the original release Soom Galena wings I’ve always wanted: Woohoo!
Wing pinion arrived broken: QQ and superglue ;-;
Hoping I can put these on my Doll Adore Hania’s Impldoll body - but she’s pretty small. If not, then Soom Crow body (on layaway) for Dollstown Io Elf. Last resort, Soom Cuprit will definitely fit them but that’s not much of a challenge. :p

Souldoll Vito (50cm) Discussion - Part 4, Clothing for Vito Girl
petiteballerine: 「Oddly enough, dresses that fit the FID Iplehouse original body girls fit my Vitos. (the original body. who knows what will fit the new ones?)
I wouldn't choose a tailored outfit, but this and two other gowns I have fit in the waist with room to spare. a bit mind-boggling. I have some Elfdoll things, and several modern outfits for Dollstown Elf size that work as well. And when I say 'fit,' I mean looks nice, no need for pins. So, it's a treasure hunt. Best tackled if you have other dolls items will fit.」

Swapping BJD bods around. Trying the Volks old f-11 head on the Dollstown Elf body, and I like this combo better than the Fairyland F60 moe body she was on. She's cute with a waifish look.
I took the Notdoll Labs Aletheia off the body cause I decided she needs an even smaller one.
Really leaning into the big head look right now I spose. That's how the pendulum swings!

Anytime I have a pile of dolls out, I gotta take quick comparison images of them standing together lmao.
Left to right: Ken (Migidoll Jina head on Asleep Eidolon 63cm boy body), Leyla (Supiadoll Hael head on Iplehouse oYID girl body), Ria (Notdoll Lab Citron head on DollsTown Elf body), and Jin-ho (Alchemic Labo Elder Unoa Zest).
Love having so much height variance between my dolls. Gives them that extra bit of individuality and character, ya know?
Also, seeing dolls of the same height but different scale never fails to be crazy looking.

My package from chromacritters on Instagram arrived yesterday with all of the hand parts I commissioned him to dye to match the colors of their respective dolls. Here’s Ria with her new Little Monica fist hands! :D He really did an amazing job on matching the colors! They’re not 100% (expected), but I’m planning to get them all blushed next year anyway.

Hello! Do you have any pictures of Capria without clothes/wig? I just purchased a Bleu Citron head and would be curious to see the proportions on the elf body. Thank you for your time, hope you're having a lovely day!
Congrats on getting a Citron! It’s not an easy head to find these days. U:
Anyway, I don’t have any pictures of Ria bald and naked on hand, unfortunately. I do have a few pictures that show the doll in full though if that’ll help? If you really need a bald/nude shot though, just let me know!
I personally find the proportions to be perfect. She really suits the larger body thanks to her big ol’ head. You also won’t need to modify the head or neck because it fits perfectly as is. I’ve seen Citron on a Zaoll body as well that looked really good, which is about the same size as the DT Elf.
