The machines of the matrix were really at today. No amount of logic or reason was met with rationality or common sense.
Be safe out there!!

Please Don't Feed the Trolls
In the past, I used to take great pleasure of being the ultimate antagonist. I would engage in arguments about pointless things. Whether it be sports teams, professional wrestling, or politics, I would get myself all worked up trying to argue with people, or get my rocks off eliciting reactions from people. As a matter of fact, I used to play a character that would thrive off of that. Especially higher up people. You know government officials, cable commissioners, parents, etc etc.
Back in the years of 1997-2003, I was a wild character. I had a TV show called SRTV: The Static Experience. SRTV stood for Stoned Ranger Television, as I was that guy, the Stoned Ranger. My aim in life was to poke at people, promote local music, piss people off, and annoy people. This was due to one simple fact. Growing up, most people that met me said that I was annoying. As the kids would say, no cap bro, I feel that way sometimes today. It could be the BPD, but I have grown up with a core belief that I was annoying and people tolerated me. My own father made me feel this way, along with many of family members. So why not live up to it? I called myself the biggest asshole alive. My website was where reality, creativity, insanity and individuality combined. And it worked.
The show was pretty popular. People actually stopped me to take pictures and get autographs. I used a lot of four letter words and made very obnoxious and obscene comments that would be sure to get me canceled. All because I wanted the negative attention. I got in some ways I never dreamed of. The Des Plaines cable commission tried to get my show taken off of public access because of its controversy. The mayor of Elk Grove Village sued me for $100,000 for defamation of character. And I would see people on the street who wanted to pick fights with me. It was like fuel to me. And I think that was because I lacked something. Maybe it was love, maybe it was respect; the point is I was a walking troll. Always looking for trouble. In life, on social media, whereever. I even picked arguments with my wife over things she liked. Do you know when I stopped? When people ignored me.
Fast forward to day, I have become more humble and grateful. I listen to what people say. I don't like to argue anymore. However, once in a while that dumb comment comes on Facebook and I want to go to war. I take a breath and stop. I ask myself some questions.
Is this going to benefit me or the other person?
Will this improve the present moment?
Is there a win here?
If the answers are no, I walk. I don't engage. Sometimes you are stronger and wiser when you don't react to shit. When you hold your ground and stay within yourself. That has been one of my toughest tasks. A good friend of mine told me I should be like vegan butter (she knows I'm vegan and I don't want to be like butter) and let the bad stuff slide off of me. I have been working at that more and more and I have improved since she told me that like 6 or 8 months ago.
This is the way I am working to live. This is what I am practicing. Remember life is practice. Not absolute. We practice to gain progress, not to be perfect. I will keep working on this.
In closing, if you want to shut down annoying people who resemble the person I once was, ignore, don't respond. They will go away. I promise you.
Lots of love and respect,
Michael

Ok, I was looking through some toa artwork here and I gotta say:
Idc what your opinion is on something or someone in the toa trilogy series, If you have a preference that’s fine. But please, don’t leave comments on these artists posts that don’t just sound insulting to the art itself, but what’s in it if you disagree with something.
With things like this, these people making artwork for us as fans and the art in general, only positive and thoughtful things should be commented, not the other way around. These people really wanted to make art and post it to their social media for fans to see, and obviously really love that scene, or characters they drew. So even just seeing something you don’t agree with or hated about a part of the toa trilogy in an art piece created by a fan (or really just anyone), why post hate on it when they clearly liked whatever or whoever they involved in it? These amazing artistic fans of these shows (and soon to be film) took hours out of their day(s) to create these pieces of art and post them for you to see and it hurts even me sometimes that sometimes even the very first comment is insulting whats in the art, or the art itself.
I’m personally not a person who creates art like many others here do, but I just wanted to put the message out: please, don’t post anything negative on any art piece post, even if you don’t like something in it. If you don’t like something in it, just ignore the post so the person who worked long and hard on that piece doesn’t get a little upset seeing something hateful on their work. Idk how many artists actually feel this way, but I do know a few that might wanna hear this. Sorry for ranting, I just hate seeing any hate posted on art pieces by artists (really any artist) that put so much effort into making it, and knowing their fandom would love it.

Saturday Night Blues
Good evening, vampire hunters.
Those of you that talk to me regularly and have been given access to the closed beta of the past two pilot episodes knows that everyone has their strengths and everyone has their weaknesses. The technical errors that were caught during the testing phases made it perfectly clear that programming is not exactly my forte, though each installment was released to the public with confidence that these errors did not interfere with your gameplay experience. I nevertheless encourage you to keep that feedback coming should my resources expand to the point where it is possible these problems can be fixed.
Tonight, while chatting with a friend on Discord that has played the game, he had encountered these very errors that I have been aware of for months since I’ve started this project along with pointers about the games’ graphics. While I will not go into detail about what happened next and will not the name the individual to avoid public shaming, the conversation turned sour and the behavior of the individual in question became outrageously condescending coupled with occasional vulgar and obscene language. Once it became clear that the individual in question will not cooperate to correct the situation, I have immediately severed ties with him and archived any related messages as evidence of his wrongdoing. I will take precautions to make sure he does not in any way reach out to me again. (Everyone knows that people never change after all. Kudos to a FANDOM Wiki admin that provided this advice for dealing with toxic people on both the Internet and real life.)
Luckily for us, there is already a warning on the Q&A button for this blog to ensure that all future feedback received for my projects will be kept respectful and civilized. For everyone else, if someone else treats you the way the individual in question treated me in an online chatroom, block and report the questionable messages to the proper staff immediately. No one ever deserves to receive that type of treatment and there are plenty more people out there that are cheering you on to succeed.

In other news related to the pilot episodes’ technical problems, should someone with professional programming experience offer to take a look and tinker with the engine in the future, I will gladly send them the files for them to perform this task in exchange for payment and their name in the credits, but not without reviewing their portfolio and previous experiences first. ;)
The third pilot episode is currently in its planning phase (I’m currently looking for 2D Artists on Upwork that can lend a hand), but in the meantime, I’m working on a handful of character designs and a few enemies that will be uploaded to Society6 during the holiday season to promote the games. Thank you so much in advance for your understanding and have a good weekend. :)
Sincerely,
WN

This meme gives a good reminder that we should not give in to trolls. All they seek is attention and who are they to judge or be hurtful? Don't feed the trolls!

Part 2 on how to Deal with Internet Trolls . 👹. 3. Don't feed the trolls. Trolling is one of those rare problems best handled by ignoring it – if you do, it usually goes away. Trolls want your attention and discomfiture; they feed on your impotent rage. If they're trying to be funny, your willingness to rise to the bait provides the punchline. If you don't, there's no joke. The secret to withholding attention is consistency: never respond. That way, the trolls can't even be sure you've read their abuse. 👹. 4. Unmask your troll. Trolls thrive on anonymity, but they're not, in my experience, too careful about guarding it. A little digging will usually turn up something that makes their bile seem beside the point. The information you uncover needn't include names, addresses or photographs – just enough to turn your rage into pity. I, for example, enjoy reading the blogs of people who tell me I can't write. 👹. 5. Remember: it's not allowed. Trolling is unwelcome on most moderated sites (including the Guardian's), bullying is a violation of Facebook policy and Twitter has rules against making threats. Ignore the trolls, but don't just ignore them. Click those Report Abuse buttons. 👹. 6. You don't have to provide a platform. If you host your own website with a forum or comments section, feel free to delete offensive or abusive material. People may tell you this is either a violation of free speech or a cowardly attempt to stifle debate but, generally speaking, these people are trolls. 👹. So basically... Ignore the Trolls & Never Ever Feed the Trolls. 👹. #trolls #internettrolls #socialmediatrolls #socialmedia #dealingwithtrolls #ignorethetrolls #dontfeedthetrolls

I don’t wish harm on anyone. But my biggest problem with trolling is, in order to do it, you have to toss all integrity & honor out the window. Trolling is just another form of bullying. And like everyone one knows, all bullies eventually meet a bigger one... these are their stores. 🤣😂🤣 Just my thoughts bro... #Meccahnism #Monday #MeccahnismMondays #DontFeedTheTrolls... #UnlessItsPain #DontCryNow #KeepThatSameEnergy #LaughingIsGood but #KarmasABitch (at Flatbush Avenue)

Really?
New coworker, the one who says he had to leave California because of all the Democrats, wants to talk about “all the people who have died around the Clintons over the years in suspicious circumstances.”  Even the usual peanut gallery guys are all, “Man, we’re not supposed to talk political opinions in here.”
He says, “It’s not an opinion.  It’s a historical fact.”
