Dueling a dragon -- Alan Craddock's cover art on White Dwarf 44, August 1983, was previously used on a 1982 Methuen edition of CJ Cherryh's Fires of Azeroth. This issue's credits incorrectly list Jim Burns as cover artist, omitting Craddock's name.

Hhhh I wish we had more games set in the warcraft universe. Like. I think a warcraft farming sim where you travel to different regions in Azeroth learning from different farmers would fuck severely actually.

Happy Valentine's Day! ❤️
I drew Jaina and Kalecgos, one of my favorite Warcraft couples that I don't draw as often!
I love the way this one turned out! I should start drawing Jaina more often, because I love how she looks in my art style!

how come i haven't seen anyone bring up eraleshk in waking shores yet? seeing them in their wheelchair made me so happy. i felt seen and in a way comforted by the fact that 1. more than one wheelchair users exist in wow and 2. it didnt make eraleshk less useful or in the way etc. they lost their identity as a dracthyr yes, and they do just tell you right away what happened, which i dont really like, but it was still.. really nice to see someone like me in like.. my game i guess. wow has been here for me for so long and seeing that another someone like me exists and thrives in azeroth really was nice. i know a lot of people probably think theyre shoehorning these reps in but i dont know. i think its a good first step. drekthar as well of course, but we all know and love him already. who doesn't love drekthar? it was just a nice surprise i guess. sorry for rambling, i know you guys follow me for the reblogs and not the commentary.

Guide Entry: Dracthyr (Sentient Species, Azeroth)
An ancient race of humanoid dragonkin, the dracthyr are gifted with the power to wield the magics of the five primary dragonflights as evokers. Like their true dragon brethren, they also can take on a humanoid visage in lieu of their draconic form.
As their origins are still being fully explained and understood by experts and regular folks alike, the Dracthyr have traveled to the lands of the Alliance and Horde to learn of the world in this age.
While they have much to learn from us, I fervently believe we have quite a lot to learn from them as well!
- Dr. Osbern von Doomshmirtz
Stormwind Harbor, five days until expedition launch.
