I simply love your ref pictures of Rowena, because one of my characters has her exact body type and she has so many pages dedicated to her in my sketchbook since I noticed this <3
Thanks for the message! Representation really, really does matter and I'm happy all of these poses are useful and people love them, because that means I can make more! <3

For the uninitiated, this is the amazing Rowena! There are two packs exclusively Rowena on my Ko-fi shop: Rowena 3 Pack and Rowena 2 Pack. You can see lots of her on my website archives too.

Updated brush textures I use :3
So I have been recently using a combination of SAI 2 and CSP EX for my drawings nowadays so I figured it would be time to update my preferences and post them on here for the yall to see and use too :3
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
For my CSP brushes I tend to use these ones which you can find for free on their asset shop. I use ALOT of other brushes in CSP but they are also mainly free ones.

so that just about sums that up :3
Few examples under the cut of these assets being used together:

Conk and Pompadour.
"The conk was a hairstyle popular among African-American men from the 1920s up to the early-to-mid 1960s. This hairstyle called for a man with naturally "kinky" hair to have it chemically straightened using a relaxer called congolene, an initially homemade hair straightener gel made from the extremely corrosive chemical lye which was often mixed with eggs and potatoes. The applier had to wear gloves and the solution timed just right on the applicant's head and then thoroughly rinsed out with cold water to avoid chemical burns. The desired outcome was for the newly straightened hair to be easily styled in the popular "conk" style of that era." -Wikipedia

https://www.youtube.com/@RODGONTHEARTIST
Hi guys! Here's a youtube channel to learn a lot!
If you are struggling with drawing, Rodgon is an artist who gives you another point of view to learn to draw.
It's a very very interesting approach to draw the anatomy in a simple and cool way. I really recommend his method if you are not aligned with the classical methods (maybe it's time to change or evolve or trancend Andrew Loomis and Methods? I don't know…Maybe! Personally I really enjoy the simplicity of the Rodgon method. Honestly, In my opinion it's easier to apply if you have some anatomy knowledge before, so don't avoid to learn the real anatomy properly.
