I've said many times that if you have to have your PR team oversell how absolutely "amazingly in love" you are, then you're almost assuredly not. Spin is spin for a reason.

So Chris and Alba were almost able to hide their relationship for a year. No real sightings, no blinds, maybe a few anon emails. And now everybody and their dog's squishy toy have details about the wedding. //

I just love how DM (as you mentioned) has mentioned several times that he has a really tight circle and that she doesn't really have any tea on him, and now she knows everything about their relationship with Alba.

And don't forget to mention that those who see them somewhere never take a picture of them or anything like that. If you see them at a park or even at a pharmacy, why can't you take even a quick picture? Maybe because it's bullshit and they didn't even see them there?

You're so right about the fandom thing. I mean, since this whole shitshow started, everybody and their mother has information about their relationship, wedding, engagement party, or the house they are renovating together. Like, why do people only get inside information when it comes to her? Why has nobody gotten any actual info about the Jinx video, that NYC comic con, or anything that's only Chris-related? She always has to be involved somehow because this is her PR relationship. I'm pretty sure he was offered something too, but she is less known, and this whole thing primarily should've helped her be more popular or get more roles. She's supposed to be the main character in this relationship; she shouldn't be the main character in the fandom, though.

This whole thing, if it's the arrangement that I believe it to be (most of the time), is to bring attention to her/them. And even though I'm a very little speck in the cyberdust, I don't want to add to their benefit. I'm slightly ashamed of how nauseated I still get when a new "thing" happens and causes another fandom Christastrophe bc it's never about HIM anymore. Save for his (hypothetical) association to them, EIAA. (I know the association in itself isn't hypothetical, but each individual event has brought forth its own possibilities and theories. I think those blogs talking about something lol are also doing it to piss off the blogs they keep making fun of. Both extremities are constantly stalking the convos happening on the opposing side and making purposeful digs against the other.

my only real takeaway is that jinx knows what’s good for Pr and what isn’t and that’s why they continue to focus on Chris and his dog. And it makes sense because the campaign is for dog food. So they’re going to lean into the adorable dog and dad duo as much as they can. Smart!
