Ash's End of the Week Review

Welcome to Volume 1 of Ash's EWR! My therapist is on sabbatical until August and I want to feel like I have my shit together. So, maybe blogging on my blog will help me process some things.

Sunday: someone emotionally blackmailed/manipulated me by pretending to commit suicide. I was then hit, shoved, and almost stabbed. I am amazed at how calm and centered I stayed throughout the experience Monday/Tuesday: new hours started for job #2 where I spent pretty much all my time trying to figure out the mess an ex-coworker left for us. Go home after each night to my mountain of boxes that keep piling up because I can't move into my new place yet

Wednesday: who knows what happened, mostly just dealing with relationship drama. I pile up more boxes around the couch I've been sleeping on for a year. Thursday: I get my first respite of the week at my weekly volunteer place. Until I go to leave, hit a rocky patch of gravel and dent the bumper on my car I JUST had replaced and isn't paid off (I still have over a year of monthly payments!). A lunch date that had been scheduled for two weeks gets canceled because "work got in the way" (on their end, not mine) Friday: I say fuck it and sleep in til noon, go cross stitch in starbucks for like three hours, and then continue to deal with my fwb who is just like the dumbest person on earth (not really but sometimes people make decisions they feel are best for them and it hurts others and I can't place any blame but also like I feel shitty and I'm the only one who can or should deal with it). Boxes continue to pile Saturday: it's a new work week baybee.

Anyway, is it wrong to hope that my fwb is miserable? idk maybe I'm just the world's worst person but if everyone can pray for every blessing to miss him for the next three months, I'd appreciate it <3 Thanks for reading!

Where I'm from the TSA (airport security) treat all unidentified bags in an airport like they contain a bomb. In this weird foreign land I'm in right now somebody left a backpack at the gate and rather than calling the bomb squad, the gate agent walked it onto the plane to ask if anyone left it behind. When nobody reacted, they looked at the bag and found a name and asked again. It belonged to the friend of a passenger who was on a different flight headed to a different airport, and the GA said she'd try to get it to them.

Where I'm from that bag would be in the trash already.
