चैतन्य भारत न्यूज गोरखपुर. रेलवे के रिकॉर्ड में एक नया इतिहास दर्ज हो गया। पहली बार ऐसा हुआ है कि लिंग परिवर्तन के आधार पर पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे के इज्जतनगर मंडल में कार्यरत राजेश कुमार पांडेय अब सोनिया पांडेय के नाम से नौकरी करेगा। (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || ).push({});

राजेश पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे के इज्जतनगर मंडल में मुख्य कारखाना प्रबंधक कार्यालय में तैनात हैं। राजेश ने नौकरी के रिकॉर्ड में अपना नाम और लिंग बदलने के लिए आवेदन कर दिया है। उसके इस आवेदन ने रेलवे के अधिकारियों को उलझन दे दी। अधिकारी समझ नहीं पा रहे हैं कि इसे कानूनी तौर पर मान्यता कैसे दी जाए। पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे के जनंसपर्क अधिकारी सीपी चौहान कहते हैं कि यह तकनीकी मामला है। इसलिए, कानूनी पहलुओं को ध्यान में रखकर नियमानुसार कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

जानकारी के मुताबिक, मुख्य चिकित्सा अधीक्षक ने 6 सितंबर 2019 को पुरुष से महिला के रूप में सर्जरी से लिंग परिवर्तन की पुष्टि की। लिहाजा राजेश पांडेय के आवेदन और मेडिकल जांच के आधार पर उनका नाम सोनिया पांडेय करने का निर्णय लिया गया है। उनके रेल सेवा अभिलेखों, मेडिकल कार्ड, परिचय पत्र आदि अभिलेखों में नाम बदल दिया गया है।

शरीर पुरुष जैसा और फीलिंग महिलाओं जैसी राजेश उर्फ सोनिया ने बताया कि, उसका शरीर तो पुरुष जैसा था, लेकिन मन में महिलाओं जैसे ख्याल आते थे। राजेश ने बताया कि लिंग परिवर्तन का विचार जब परिवार के सदस्यों को बताया तो वे नाराज हो गए। मां व बहनें रूठ गईं। कोई दूसरा रास्ता न देख मैंने लिंग परिवर्तन करा लिया। धीरे-धीरे सब कुछ ठीक हो गया। मां व बहनें भी मान गईं। राजेश की मां का कहना है कि, जब तीन बहनों के बाद घर में बेटा हुआ था तो सब लोग बहुत खुश थे, लेकिन अब राजेश भी सोनिया बन गया। मां का कहना है कि अब जो भी है सही है।
