what do you think the bridgertons's reaction would be to hearing "I am nearly certain every last one of my brothers and sisters secretly despise me. My own mother, at that. Despite the fact I have lived the better part of my life for them."? I think they would be horrified and ashamed of how they treated him, especially Violet when she realises how much Edmund's death has changed him and forced him to grow up and they didn't appreciate him enough for what he's done for them for the past decade
I agree. I feel there is a lot of miscommunication in that family. His family DOESN'T hate him. I mean at times he can be a pain in the ass of course, but they all love him. The problem is that Anthony always appears to them as this unmovable and strong person, even a little tyrant at times. So they don't notice his vulnerability, his fears, his traumas because he doesn't let them. And even when they notice and try to get through him (I mean Violet tried, Daphne tried, hell even Benedict in ep7 was all like: bro, why don't you tell me the hell is going on with you?), he closes himself off. He's so used to be the head of the house that he doesn't know how to be their brother/son anymore.
So he thought they despised him, and they thought they were just a nuisance to him at times or he resented them. Like i've said before: miscommunication. My hope is that now that Anthony has become clearly more open about his feelings and more relaxed at the end of s2, even his relationship with his siblings will improve.

Hello Sunshine of my dash,I was thinking on a scene on Herondale manor, where they visit Edmund and Linette and the kids are not very grown, and probably Will and Gabriel are bickering on which kid is more advanced in terms of walking , talking etc of the ones that are close in age, I think it can be cute and fun to write
I am so sorry this took so long but the scene manifested itself in my mind while I was going about my day today!
a love like no other
herondale-gray and herondale-lightwood families
year 1887
Nothing brought Cecily more joy than being surrounded by her family--especially when she had the rare opportunity for that family to include her parents at their home in Yorkshire. Here, like in Idris, the children had wide open fields and clean air to explode their young energy. The melody of childrens' laughter in the open air was everything Cecily needed for a moment of calm in her ever-chaotic world.
Her brother, however, often found a way to turn every family gathering into a bicker-fest with Gabriel.
"Lucie is such a quick learner," Will boasted from the long deck that led out to the stables. "Not even a full year old yet and she's dashing through the grass."
"All childern crawl quickly at that age," Gabriel said, waving him off. "Anna was crawling all about London then, too."
"Anna was also raiding closets and finding the weapons storeroom," retorted the other. "Care to boast about that?"
"Of course." Gabriel smirked; his method of calm bickering often made Will more agitated, which had always been Gabriel's intention. "A sign of a great Shadowhunter. She is naturally drawn to the symbol of our duty and keeping up with the fashion as she does."
Will scoffed and stood straighter. Cecily, from her position behind them on the rocker, holding her and Gabriel's newborn son in her arms, rolled her eyes at them. "Must you bicker about everything?" she sighed. "Even the children? They're cousins. They share blood. We should not compete them among each other."
"They share Herondale blood," Will pointed out.
"They are infants and toddlers!" Cecily scolded. She wanted to use her more authoritative voice, the one her mother always used when her, Will, and Ella had gotten into trouble of their own, but Christopher was soundly asleep, and she did not want to wake him from his peaceful slumber. "Bicker among your own faults, if you feel such a need to bicker at all."
"So you admit Gabriel has faults," was all Will answered, excited. Gabriel scowled at him.
"She chose to marry me," he snapped. "She was forcibly stuck with you."
"And it is because of me that she met you." Will made a disgusted face before turning back toward the fields, where Will's son, James, was waddling furiously alongside his sister Lucie, who was a fiend crawling through the fields, stopping at every flower. "Really, you should be thanking me, Gabriel."
"I don't thank you," Gabriel said evenly. "I thank your parents. Important distinction."
"Dad!" came a small, breathless voice. Gabriel's attention was immediately diverted to the miniature version of Cecily bounding up the steps. His demeanor entirely changed--from annoyance at Will to pure happiness. Gabriel dropped to a kneal and opened his arms just as Anna came crashing in. "Dad!" she exclaimed again, breathless and eager. "I found a duck!"
"Absolutely not," Will cried. "Absolutely not. Jamie! Lucie! Time to come back inside!"
Gabriel laughed and lifted Anna, standing with her squirming in his arms. "Next time, you should lead the duck back here to scare Uncle Will."
"Gabriel," Cecily scolded, but secretly she found the idea quite funny. She knew little James and Lucie were not afraid of ducks like their father was, and seeing a grown man flee from a small animal would have been a fun family outing.
"My children would never do such a thing," Will stated, flustered. "Tessa! We must bring Jamie and Lucie inside! Can't trust the ducks around here."
The door to the manor home opened, and in the opening stood Cecily's mother, wide-eyed and confused. "What is with all the yelling?" she questioned. "William, must you be so loud? Your nephew is sleeping."
"Christopher can sleep next to a frieght train and remain perfectly asleep," Will defended, though his voice was quieter. Behind him, Tessa climbed the stairs with Lucie on her side and James toddling beside her. "It is a side-effect of being a member of this family."
Linette Herondale paid no attention to her son's dramatics. She only looked around the deck and smiled, happy. "It's so nice to have you all here," she said with a distant, dreaming tone. "And the children."
"Nain," Anna said, with her small voice. "May we have cawl?"
Linette beamed at her granddaughter, who beamed back. Three generations of Herondale women, nearly indentical in appearance, stood on that deck with Cecily. "Anything for you, fy nghariad."
Behind her mother, Edmund Herondale appeared, looking healthier and happier than Cecily remembered her father being for much of her childhood. Cecily smiled, pleased to see him that way. In every way, he was always just as excited to see his grandchildren as her mother was. "Look at all you," he said with a laugh. "Standing out there. Come in before you all catch colds."
Cecily stood slowly from her rocker, ensuring that Christopher was still tucked in warmly and safely, when she felt Gabriel's hand on the small of her back. She looked up to find him, and Anna, smiling with bright eyes.
In the end, it didn't matter when Will and Gabriel got into their little squabbles. All that mattered to them, and to her and Tessa, was that their little ones were safe, healthy, and happy, growing up among their family. Never again would they be separated from their family, like their parents had been.
Only having children herself did Cecily come to truly appreciate the sacrifices and hardships her own parents went through to allow their children to be happy.
So she followed her mother inside for a nice, warm bowl of cawl.

Due to my older brother having autism, I’ve always wanted to have a Peter and Lucy relationship. Any headcanons for my all time favorite sibling love? ☺️ Thank you!

Peter and Lucy Pevensie’s relationship headcanons... ✨
Peter always calls his little sister “Lu”, and everyone knows she is in deep trouble if he calls her “Lucy Pevensie”.
They always make sure to spend time quality time together. As the Pevensies started their reign, they all got caught up in their new lifestyle, especially Peter as the High King and a person who puts a lot of pressure on himself. As time went on, Lucy felt lonely and missed spending time with her brother. After a messy fight between the two of them where she finally admitted she felt left behind and missed him, they decided that they would, from now on, always make sure to plan some quality time together.
On the nights where Lucy has terrible nightmares, she quickly gets up to run into her big brother’s room. Shaking his shoulder, “Pete… Peter… are you awake?” only to be answered by a grumpy mumble, with a little more shaking an answer would eventually come out “Mmmh… Now I am… What’s the matter?” “I just had the worst nightmare…” he immediately lifts the covers “Wanna sleep with me?” and she gladly jumps in with him.
Of course, she always ends up taking all the place in the bed and cuddling her brother all night so that the following morning he barely got any quality sleep, but to see his little sister feeling better is all that matters to him.
Whenever Peter gets too caught up in his mind, she is always there to deliver him from his thoughts and force him to take a well-deserved break.
On the days where it is councils over councils, talking about mundane matters for protocol, he would get incredibly bored. That is when his attentive little sister would make sure to make him laugh and smile a little extra, even secretly bringing him snacks.
They do a lot of silly pranks together, both hiding behind columns, playing those often on Susan or Mr.Beaver, laughing until they can’t breathe.
Whenever Peter comes back from a fight, Lucy particularly makes sure her brother is cared for. His big heart and selfless personality often make the golden boy forget and mistreat himself because he just wanted to give so much to others. After fights, she makes sure he is taking rest and being attended to.
On the nights where he is up till dawn in the library reading, trying to get in as much information as he can, she always forces him to go to bed.
If he has already fallen asleep on his books, she brings him a blanket and a pillow.
She wants him to know he deserves the same amount of love and dedication he gives to everybody else.
Even though Peter is incredibly protective of his little sister, he also firmly believes in her capacities to accomplish great things.
Every time she performs on an event of some sort, Peter is always boosting the hell out of her. He is her number one supporter and loves cheering on for her, whether it is about swords fighting, painting, dancing, or any little things.
“C’mon Lu you can do it!”
“You got this!”
There's a lot of shouting and clapping.
When in more official settings, he minds his manners of course, but not enough to prevent a smug smile to lift the corners of his mouth.
During councils, he always makes sure her opinions are heard and that she is not set aside.
He remembers gloomily the many times Lucy tried to bring a point to the table or just an alternative option to a situation that would end up causing so many death and harm. He wants to do his best so that never happens again.
In the other world, before they could get back in Narnia, any time Peter felt like he was losing hope he would go to Lucy, knowing he could rely on her unshakable faith.
Anytime Peter feels trapped in an unsolvable situation and feels frustrated, he goes to Lucy for advice.
She is calm and wise where he is action and impatience; they balance each other out wonderfully in that type of situation.
It is no secret; he is a protective brother when it comes to his little Lucy. He feels particularly entitled to her security and well-being.
As she grew up, he found it hard to understand she was a grown-up woman, able to take care of herself.
It did spark many small fights between the two of them, every time it ended with him apologizing and her understanding he was only doing this because he did not want her to get hurt.
After that, he started to do even more training and activities with her, boosting her confidence and encouraging her to be the best she could be.
He is also extremely protective of her when it comes to male attention.
At one point, it became too intense and inquired a serious discussion between them both as he had frightened to death a gentleman who wanted to dance with her majesty. He was incredibly sulky and acting like a stubborn mule when they discussed the matter. She succeeded in breaking his act and made him promise he would not do it again.
They did make a deal on him having a veto if he felt something was off; they shook hands on it. Even after that, he was protective, but more subtly, and gave his little sister the space she needed.
They love to go on walks in the country together, sometimes in the woods, other times on the beach or near a river to read a book.
They do not have to talk even though they love chatting together; they still enjoy and appreciate each other’s presence in the deepest of silence.
They do not fight a lot, and when it happens, it ends pretty quickly with one of them apologizing.
Even though Peter has a shining personality, he can get shy easily and prefers to hide in a royal and distant behavior when that happens. That is why Lucy always makes sure to break that façade and bring back her happy brother.
When he feels like he is a terrible king, Lucy takes on the role of the confidence booster. She encourages him to be confident and to have trust in his capacities.
She believes in him more than anyone else and knows he is a great king, always doing his best.
He does not particularly like to dance, and Lucy really does; she taught him all he knows and forces him to dance with her at least once at every ball.
He always tries to get out of it even though he secretly likes these shared dances with his sister.
When Lucy gets sick or does not feel good, he is taking extra care of her, making sure she is always attended to, that she has all of her favorite snacks.
Once, when it got pretty bad, he spent all night with her, even sending Edmund on one of his duty because he did not want to leave her. That day he spent most of the time, besides caring for her, reading her favorite books to her.
She loves his voice; it is one of her favorite things in the world.
Every time there is a silly fight between the three younger Pevensies and their older brother, their last resort is always to send in the charms of Lucy. He always caves in when she comes in, asking with a pout just like when she was a child.
They both admire the other so much.
Their relationship is one of the things they value the most. Even though it comes pretty naturally to them, they always put in the time and effort to keep it healthy and flourishing.
You know how some people have the chance to find one of their soul sisters (platonically speaking of course).
Well, Peter and Lucy Pevensie are without a doubt two people who had the luck of finding theirs.
a/n: there it was, my first ever request !! Again thanks to my good friend for sending it to me🥺 I hope you’ll like it and feel free to send me some requests, I love doing them☺
