When Classroom Management is Not Enough....
Classroom management is often hailed as the cornerstone of effective teaching, encompassing strategies like setting expectations, managing behavior, and fostering a positive learning environment. However, there are times when even the most well-structured classroom management techniques fall short. Teachers may encounter challenges that extend beyond the realm of management, requiring deeper…

How Gravity Disruptors Work
We all are aware of the gravity disruptors inside of iterators, right? They... disrupt gravity.
I believe they do this through fluctuating karmic fields in parallel planes of existence, which affect spacetime and gravity by rapidly decreasing or creating "negative" mass.
Let me break down what I mean
Karma as a force, and alternate planes
Karma is like a force of the universe alongside that of gravity, electromagnetism, and weak/strong force. The iterators have an incredibly pragmatic view of karma and the cycles, treating it more like a science with odd spiritual elements involved. The iterators calculate and solve through traditionally empirical means, yet still pray and meditate.
- "It became the symbol for enlightenment as it momentarily enables a creature to let go if its carnal self, and to contact the selves of other planes - dreams, memories, imagined worlds."
Moon mentions other planes in her Karma Flower dialogue. We can understand there's a "dream" or "cerebral" realm that you could see through with this flower.
These dream plane(s) are HEAVILY associated with karma, and karmic fields, as your ingame deaths experienced in this plane cause your karma to decrease, and the karma flower that lets you contact these cerebral plane selves ... affects your karma!
As well as this, Hunter in vanilla is described as having a "karmic imbalance", once again wording it like it's a force that can be measured and somehow imbalanced
The behaviors of gravity disruptors
Having established karma as a universal force, and also alternate realities, let's actually look at the gravity disruptors themselves.
They appear to very clearly have an orbit, and drag nearby things into it. They also distort light they're so powerful!
But... you can't get to the center. The center of a gravity disruptor repels you. Violently. You can't get to the center naturally through gameplay due to the force.
So rather than this being like a black hole, it's actually closer to theoretical white holes!
The distortion of time and gravity
This leads further into my next point. According to general relativity, the mass of a black hole causes a huge sink in spacetime, slowing it down. So a white would be the opposite, wouldn't it? Something that REPELS matter because of its negative mass!
How do karma and gravity interact with each other then?
Well, like a black hole, the Void Sea slows down your perception of time until you enter it, at which point you return to normal speed. However, unlike one, gravity seems to get lower
So perhaps the Void Sea- and by extension void fluid- are somehow manipulating the spacetime continuum to both lower gravity and slow down perceived time?
Now this leads me to my biggest point...
Parallel planes!
I believe that karma and gravity are intertwined, as the boundaries between realities in rain world seem to be very vague and blurred, as you can never tell in the void sea when you actually enter the other reality. And as mentioned in the above Karma Flower dialogue, apparently you were able to contact other selves in other planes of reality.
By warping the karma fields in a parallel plane, you can warp gravity in a localized area, creating the effect of a 0g environment! This was done most likely through the use of void fluid
These parallel planes of reality between cerebral and corporeal planes already interact with each other to a noticeable degree!
How do iterators manage to "smooth out" this flux? Well, I'll be honest I'm not sure. But the fact they have the technology to do that to begin with is rather impressive!
What about Mass Rarefaction Cells
Rarefaction is an actual thing, for those who didn't know. I actually found this out recently.
From Wikipedia: "Rarefaction is the reduction of an item's density, the opposite of compression. Like compression, which can travel in waves (sound waves, for instance), rarefaction waves also exist in nature. A common rarefaction wave is the area of low relative pressure following a shock wave (see picture)"
And if you refer back to the examples of general relativity I brought up... you can see it's doing the opposite of compression. It's stretching- being rarefacted!
And in some ways, it reduces density- or gives the illusion of such.
So yes! Rarefaction is actually relevant and isn't some odd technobabble thing.
So how do they produce energy?
The orbit formed by rarefaction cells can produce kinetic energy, replacing the role of a force spinning the turbine inside of a generator. This kinetic energy is then converted into electrical energy, transported on those powerrails/busbars
This might also be the explanation to the "washing machine" look...
Closing notes
I know I've said in the past that rarefaction cells are probably not the safest and wouldn't be used very often, and how much I dislike their existence.
I still think that.
I don't believe that the vanilla gravity disruptors work the same way. They use void fluid of course, but they're MUCH safer I imagine- at the cost of not being easily transported around like a cell.
but yeah thats what I think

Yandere!Batboys as Villains with Robin!Darlings AU Masterlist
Okay so idea, after Damian has his darling kidnapped brought to him and she is living in a state of constant worry and fear because if she steps out of line he’ll punish her despite the fact that when she is on her best behavior her spoils her like a princess.
At some point she is going to escape, probably one of her sisters or Bruce rescuing her, but when she gets back to Gotham and gets back to training she is significantly stronger despite the fact that she was not allowed to fight, train, or anything of the sort. It’s no question of how she got so much stronger to Bruce, she is a visual learner.
When she wanted to become Robin, she watched Bruce and her predecessors and learned their movements.
When she was kidnapped by Damian and the League of Assassins, she watched her captor train and learned how he fights and a way to combat the fighting style of the members of the League of Assassins.
Then her family couldn’t feel more proud of her, especially when she encounters Damian again she manages to hold him off until Kate Kane comes as backup.
Perhaps she has outgrown the title of Robin, maybe Batgirl would suit her better…
Or maybe she can just be Bruce’s baby bird a little while longer.

Or alternatively…
The poison used on her when she was kidnapped was just met to temporarily paralyze her, but what if only part of the effects wore off?
So when she gets recused and taken back to Gotham, she is paralyzed from the waste down and has to give up the mantle of Robin, but that doesn’t mean she can’t help her family.
Barbara Gordon takes her under her wing, she understands what Damian’s darling is going through because she had to give up on being Batgirl. Bruce has his resources working on developing a cure for her, but until then, Oracle has her own sidekick to watch over Gotham from the Clocktower, and the title of Sage has a good ring to it.

Lowering Wards: Steps for new and established spells
"Lowering" a ward means to temporarily pause some or all of its protective effects, usually to make way for other magical actions or divination; "lowering the draw-bridge." Here, a ward is any protective spell.
Although these steps will work for just about any spell. An alternate title for this post is, basic spell administration: managing your spells after they've been cast.
The whole caboodle is deceptively easy. No need to over think it.
Lowering any wards, even for spells not established with convenient lowering in mind
SELECT WHICH EFFECTS SHOULD BE PAUSED. Hypothetically, a ward with multiple effects can have some effects paused, while others are ongoing (*this is highly variable and really depends on how the spell was built).
But technically, if you have a ward that's A) no magic can come into my house, and B) no energies of ill-will can come into my house, you may be able to allow magic to come into your house while a friend sends a positive spell your way, while still filtering out ill-will.
In my experience, protection loopholes are a bit of a beast, and if your magic starts behaving weirdly, or won't work, or friends can't magic on you like they can for others, check out to see if you've sealed yourself in a labyrinth of protective measures.
Sometimes you'll want to pause all effects - that's fine too. Just have in mind what you want to have happen.
IMO, an excellent way to deal with this step is to just state what it is you want the ward to allow for.
"Let this Discord friend do a reading for me."
"Make way for this spirit to leave the house."
Etc.
TAKE ANY BASIC STEP TO MANAGE YOUR MAGIC.
Enter, or at least brush up against, magical mindspace.
Find the spell - this is easier if its attached to a physical object, which just means finding the object.
While in magical mindspace and interacting with the reality that your spell exists, do any of the following:
Just tell it what you'd like it to temporarily do
Put a black cloth over the spell vessel with intent that it be paused
Hide it away in a drawer, or turn it so that it's "facing" a corner
Draw some sort of stopping symbol on top of it (pentagram or an X work well)
Put the ward close to an energy battery and have it take a break and go out for lunch
Any action that, for you, makes sense to represent a "pause, time-out" instruction
WHEN READY, PUT THE WARD BACK UP. Take away the black cloth, put the ward back in its proper position, "wipe away" the blocking symbol. Especially communicate through magical speech, thought, writing, signing, etc., that the ward is to resume its normal mode of behavior.
For those curious about sorcerous theory, reading on a ward before and after you raise and lower it can offer helpful feedback
Of course, that stuff might not work well, so making a ward with an eye for pausing it is a good idea
Spellcrafting can get complex and there could be any number of reasons why a ward created to be a permanent wall doesn't have convenient, easily-workable drawbridges.
Building a ward with drawbridges is easy. First, decide how you want the drawbridge to work.
You can design a ward where one effect ("no ill-energy") is always active, while another is meant to be raised and lowered ("no outside magic.")
You can design a ward with a skeleton key, where all of the doorways are unlocked at once
You can design wards in such a way that outsiders may be able to obtain the key and unlock them (like, a passcode and energy signature you share with others), or you can design them in such a way that only you can unlock them (like, requiring you yourself to draw a symbol over them in the physical realm)
Etc.
One example of an unlocking action is tapping on the spell vessel three times and saying, "stand down until sunset* so [specific thing the ward is blocking] can occur."
*For the forgetful, giving the spell a timeframe is useful.
When casting the spell, whenever the time feels right, go into a portion where you 'teach' the spell how to listen for your instructions to lower defenses, and how it should operate when this occurs. ("Never stay unlocked beyond the next twilight; the guards named No Bane are eternal, but the guards named No Spying sometimes lie down to rest.")
You can always go back and "open up" old spells to modify loopholes and improve unlocking mechanisms
My paradigm allows for certain things:
Most spells are not so much mindless machines but rather are more like garden plots, or animals. They may be bad at performing a certain thing the first time you ask them to, but over multiple lessons, even a very stubborn spell might learn a new trick.
Therefore, it can take time to teach a spell how to do something new that it wasn't designed to do.
Learning can be improved by holding a formal class. This is the equivalent of taking the spell back into spellcasting space and partially re-casting new magic on top of the old base.
The gist of re-forging an old spell is to carefully outline what you want to change, remove, and add. Using your preferred spellcasting or ritual format, connect with the spell and provide new parameters.
I find this process to be different than casting an entirely new spell, so I think it's normal if it all seems a bit different.
Provide the spell with more energy, tie off the ritual as normal, and deploy the spell immediately or give it a little time to firm up, as you prefer.

Oh, you watched Fiona and Cake, great!
I am curious, what were your thoughts about like Winter King or first opening? Or like about overall more mature stuff than in og adventure time
So now that I'm doing a huge rewatch of the OG Adventure Time, I will say I adore both in their own ways.
It was really cool seeing the more mature stuff in Fionna and Cake, sort of like the show 'grew up' with the audience, you know? And do NOT get me started on how much my heart was destroyed by Simons entire plight through.
See I never managed to finish the first show, mostly just got distracted, but on my rewatch I can tell I at least got through six seasons. I like how spaced out the original show is, and it makes the really sad shit with like the Ice King hit like a ton of bricks when it happens. It really feels like you're watching all these wacky people live their lives, and occasionally the horror of the Mushroom War reminds you of its effect, through Marceline, and the Ice King, and every character who was forced to live through it. I don't know, it's really nice!
Okay I'm gonna ramble so I'm putting a read more!
I was wondering if on a rewatch I'd get frustrated the way later seasons of Steven Universe made me get frustrated, but it never felt like that at all. It's just been... fun. It's just Finn and Jake on adventures, occasionally having to set down their fun and recognize the horror of things around them, and it's just. DAMN it's just done so well.
I just got to the episode where Finn meets Prismo and makes the wish, and accidentally ends up wielding the power of the crown, and all it did was break my heart. Like I was sitting there, and for a split second I was like 'wow that crown corrupted him really fast!' and then I remembered.... he was like 13 when he got the crown. He was still a child, and when Simon got the crown, he was what, in his 40s? He was just a kid, and couldn't possibly be able to handle or combat the crowns power. It just punched me in the gut.
So I very much enjoy how spaced out and silly the original Adventure Time is, because its such a unique world I love seeing more of it, and I feel like it makes the heavy scenes hit so much harder. With Fionna and Cake, I love how tight the story is and how structured things are. They're both SUCH good shows, with different ways of writing and different vibes and I adore them equally at this point.
ALSO THE WINTER KING, holy shit don't get me started, but I will rant about this mofo
(These are keychain designs but I decided to put them together on a little canvas)
Firstly, I fucking LOVE the Winter King, and I'm really sad we didn't get more of him. I do wonder if the fact that Fionna's universe wasn't 'canon' during all the universe hopping, that if somehow the multiverse will reverse some things and 'repair' the damage. I'm not even saying that because I want to see the Winter King again, it just absolutely sounds like something that could happen in Adventure Time. Hell, look how they made Fionna and Cake just-- real! Thanks Prismo you're a cool guy.
But in terms of the Winter King as a character, and in terms of his universe? I want SO much more detail. Where is Finn, where is Jake? Marceline either left the Winter King or got killed, so I'm curious there too. The juxtaposition of genuine confidence and whimsy, and the mans incapacity to feel remorse or even real deep sadness (him saying 'Oh! The dead one?' when Simon asked about Betty was... holy shit) he was just an EXTREMELY interesting character, and I so badly want to see more of him.
Also dude was just funny. The fact he straight up admitted he thought about kissing his alternative universe self was so fucking funny, and plays heavily into his narcissistic behavior and tendencies.
On TOP of that, the idea of how he ended up cursing Bubblegum specifically would be so interesting. I read online people assuming when the Ice King did his spell, it was more like "I want Princess Bubblegum to love me, so I'll do a spell so she can understand what I'm feeling and then she'll marry me!" but then the 'understand what I'm feeling' is actually just... "Hey, I feel absolute madness, here, take it off my hands!' and might have just been a huge accident. We certainly can't trust Winter King's words about it.
I don't know. He was so fascinating, and the way he put feelers out to see if Simon would feel the way he does (Specifically talking about making an Ice Betty, then realizing Simon was disturbed so he shrugged it off with a laugh, being like 'no thats immoral obviously haha') and the fact that he was so cautious and smart about avoiding telling Simon how he conquered the crown? Like he would be glad to help and teach Simon how to keep his sanity AND his power... but obviously would have never spoken his secret the more he realized Simon would morally object to it.
I dunno. This character was in the show for 20 minutes and he was so fucking interesting I almost feel robbed. I hope maybe we can get some Adventure Time comics about the guy at the VERY least!

Classification of draconids encountered in the Dragonverse, defined by body types
Greater dragons: one of the most iconic magical creatures first defined as "dragons", characterized by four legs, large wings and the ability to fly. Origin/natural habitats are mainly mountains and cliffs. Primarily highly intelligent, though there are a few "beast" species. Magic affinity varies, but the average power potential is higher than in most other draconid types. Rare even by post-dragon-war standards.
(The term "greater dragons" is often debated, but no suggested alternative ever managed to replace it due to the cultural effect of them being the first bearers of the "dragon" title. Originally, the group was even named "true dragons".)
Knuckers: while they share the limb count with the greater dragons, knuckers have shorter legs and small wings not capable of flight, instead aiding in swimming. Sizes vary from small to medium. Natural habitats are almost exclusively wetlands. Majority of species aren't capable of speech. Magically inclined towards water and biomatter magic, many species also possess venom glands. Uncommon.
Wyverns: exclusively flying type with a pair of hind legs. While they share many characteristics with greater dragons - varying sizes and magic affinity, preference for mountainous habitats, similar hunting behaviors - most wyverns are "beasts", which makes them one of the most dangerous draconid types. Gradual disappearance of greater dragons initially gave wyverns more hunting grounds, but that in turn attracted attention of dragon hunters. Nowadays large species are near nonexistent within human borders.
Drakes: one of the most versatile and adaptable types of draconids - which isn't very surprising, given their body plans (and consequently natural niches) resembling that of large predatory mammals. Primarily medium-sized dragons found in all kinds of land habitats and possessing various magic affinities, though their magical prowess is relatively low in "beast" species. Semi-common, though most avoid humans.
Wyrms: the type's belonging to draconids has been contended on multiple occasions, some people claiming them to be "just big magic lizards". The line between wyrms and reptiles does get somewhat blurry in a few cases, but the presence of "dragonstone" in their bones both grants them magical abilities and separates wyrms as draconids. (Notably, some reptiles are indeed magic animals without being draconids. The question of classification can sometimes only be solved through complex bone analysis.)
Wyrms are a versatile group with the largest range of sizes, some species being the smallest known draconids, while others are only outmatched by saltwater serpents and some ever-growing ancient dragons.
Lindverns are another controversial group of draconids, put into their own type after long debates about them being wyverns or lindwyrms. The fact that there are only two known species (both "beasts") does not help the matter. It's been theorized that they are a rare product of interspecies breeding - but lindverns do not share territory (wetlands and surrounding forests) with any known lindwyrms. Initially curtly named "pseudowyverns" or, as put by a frustrated draconologist, "a pain in the ass".
(Nab note: they actually evolved from knuckers.)
Basilisks: a particularly odd type of near exclusively beastial draconids featuring six legs and all sharing some degree of magical hypnosis ability (the myth of them turning creatures to stone stems from them using hypnosis to slow down/paralyze prey or opponent). Prefer forests and caverns in warmer climates. Uncommon type overall, with large species being very rare due to hunting.
Lindwyrms: (alt. spelling "lindwurms") serpentine draconids with a single pair of forelimbs. Medium-to-large in size, with only a few non-"beast" species. Found in various habitats, though they are the most common type of draconids in deserts. Most have magical affinity to water and/or air magic.
Loongs: exclusively intelligent, highly magic-dependent draconids capable of flight despite most species lacking wings. Due to there being no beast-like loongs, their existence is mainly unknown to humans. Have a strong affinity to water magic, though their energy is highly versatile, a trait shared with some greater dragons'. Most prefer to keep to themselves rather than hide among humans, very lengthy lifespans making long-term connections both risky and emotionally difficult.
Saltwater serpents: a group of large-to-colossal species with a self-explanatory type name. Most are creatures of legends, their habitats, rare appearance in human-controlled waters, and sheer power making surviving records of them near-nonexistent. Even other dragons rarely know much about their ocean-dwelling cousins.

So, with the elves again...Mine have thin, hollow bones (which is the reason for their gracile statures) and only adults have wings (which are partially magical and a secondary sexual characteristic, with males having long narrow ones for speed and endurance, female round and slightly concave ones for power lifting and maneuverability with more androgynous individuals having something in between. Their fleshy areas tend to be, in adults, slightly stronger than in humans.) How would corporal punishment work in such cultures, when they don't want handicap the person. Also, the shoulder blade area is a universal taboo to harm (kind of how all human cultures have some form of music ). I think of martinet on the laps and irritants applied to non-sensory essential but pain-sensitive areas.
Hmmmm okay so. If we are talking about corporal punishment on a law enforcement and military type of level, I'm not so sure they would be concerned about preventing disabling injuries or avoiding a body part that's usually off limits.
Corporal punishment is not an effective behavioral correction tool. Its only purpose is causing harm and inducing fear, and often times "making an example" out of someone to frighten everyone else.
Historically, you might see such punishments as cutting off a thief's fingers, whippings, various forms of torture. These are not punishments done with the intention of letting the victim heal up and continue living a normal life with a few scars.
In the case of having a "taboo" against hurting a specific body part, I can actually see that becoming a high level form of corporal punishment. If someone is intentionally seriously injured in the one place you're never supposed to hurt, isn't that a great way to mark them as particularly terrible criminal? Or a great way to show your power by doing it to your enemies? I would think any authority that uses corporal punishment would actually cause disabling injuries on purpose to make an example out of the people they hate the most. Even to the point of cutting off whole wings, or at least enough of the wing to ground someone without fully killing them, leaving them horribly maimed so anyone who sees them will be terrified of ending up with the same punishment. Death sentences are also a form of corporal punishment.
The less disabling punishments like the ones you mentioned above would likely be used for smaller offenses, or torture tactics.
If you're writing a society where corporal punishment exists at all, you should really think about why the people in charge of ordering and executing those punishments would only want to cause mild harm. And if the answer is that you as the writer are uncomfortable making a society that allows harsher corporal punishment, then perhaps you need to rework the worldbuilding and avoid writing any corporal punishments.
I would recommend researching how criminal rehabilitation works, the psychology around positive reinforcement, and which countries have the lowest crime rates and how they manage it. That will give you an idea of some better alternatives to corporal punishment if it's something you're not so comfortable keeping in your worldbuilding.
And if you are comfortable keeping it in your worldbuilding, then don't hold back so much. It's a method of punishment that intentionally causes harm, so write it that way. It can be used to show what the political climate is like in your world, how the societal hierarchies work, and what sorts of crimes are considered the worst in this culture based on how horrible the punishments are.

THE FIST ANGAROVENATOR - ALTERNATIVE REPTILE!
While teliphones are building calamite catacombs, few vertebrates have mastered the arid terrain. One of them was the first angarovenator - Lapideusunguis adam, the "stone nail", which occupied a niche similar to modern geckos.
Lapideusunguis is significantly smaller than Moropiton and, possibly, slightly larger than adult Ariekanerpeton individuals.
Clockwise from top to bottom: Moropiton moropiton ssp. pushkini, pearl mole spider, Lapideusunguis, Oxykoilia, Poseideongenia. In the background - Ichthyocetus megalos
The body is elongated, has a triangular shape in cross section due to the high raised ribs: the thickness from the head to the middle of the tail remains the same. The legs are longer than those of the ancestors, which allows you to travel long distances.
The fingertips are covered with a keratin cover, convergent to the fingertips of tree frogs: they protect the foot from hard and often very hot/cold soil and aggressive substances and allow effective digging.
One recent scientific paper (Evolutionary origin of Hoxc13-dependent skin appendages in amphibians - the pictures above are taken from there) suggests that the claws of amphibians and amniotes were not independently developed, as previously thought. This means that the common ancestor had keratinized fingertips like modern axolotls.
The skin is much thicker (especially the feet and eyelids) than that of the ancestors, but without scales: it hangs slightly at the edges of the trunk. The muzzle is pointed, the head is narrow; the parietal eye is developed, the pupils of ordinary eyes are vertical due to the need to hunt both in the morning sun and in almost complete darkness. The color is bright due to the absence of predators with developed eyesight and serves as a means of communication and recognition of each other at a distance.
Unlike sedentary discosaurids, lapideusunguis is a nomad. Although its anatomy does not allow it to move as fast as modern quadrupeds, this angarovenator constantly (once every two weeks) surveys its territory in search of arthropods. Usually the territory includes two or three calamite catacombs or the usual burrows of some Arachnetiflopontics - Lapideusunguis periodically hunts them, as well as spiders and insects, especially young individuals. His main time of activity is twilight, night and day, he waits in burrows dug by himself or abandoned phone burrows. In the evening, the angarovenator comes out before sunset and basks on the rocks; in the morning it warms up by contracting muscles like some modern pythons - another adaptation important for future evolution.
Another important difference from discosaurids is rapid maturation: instead of 20 years, the larvae mature in a few months. In general, reproduction for lapideusunguis as for amphibians in the desert is a hemorrhoid due to the need to search for a reservoir. Usually, adults are found near the catacombs at night, when rare rains fall. The female lays eggs on wet ground, the male fertilizes the eggs and the female swallows the future offspring like the recently extinct Rheobatrachus silus frogs, after which she drinks some water.
Famous Rheobatrachus silus photo
However, these seymouriamorphs have not yet developed this behavior to perfection, and therefore they usually search for the nearest large body of water, migrating to the remaining forest regions. During the mother's wanderings, the eggs manage to develop into larvae at the beginning or middle of metamorphosis. It is obvious that the following daughter species will abandon the habitat stage in lakes and puddles in favor of throat gestation.
The following posts will be about the development of offspring bearing in Sangaree and in general about the evolution of metamorphosis in amphibians. In them, I will slightly correct the description of Lapideusungis and maybe draw the behavior of this animal during the breeding season.

As someone who was kinda disappointed in the way the not-so-Machine Herald transformation of Viktor played out, here's some musings on what could've been done instead to make it more. Yknow. Machine Herald.
After he rises from the sourdough starter and parts ways with Jayce, Viktor realizes the transformation isn't entirely complete- the arcane was able to keep him alive, but just barely. Perhaps at first, he considers just letting himself die, but maybe his return to Zaun sparks the desire to help people again. Now, he has two options:
1. Solo playthrough
2. Co-op
Solo playthrough sees him doing personal research into the arcane and how it can be used for machinery/prosthetics/etc. (because he doesn't have access to another hexcore to just throw at people), and is perhaps most similar to his storyline in League. It's a fairly straightforward route. He experiments on himself and eventually, some volunteers, replacing the body parts that need to be replaced. Similar cultish behavior begins as word starts to spread about a guy who can fix you, heal you, maybe even save your life, as long as you don't mind all the metal. (It's up to you if you want him to keep the balayage or not.)
I don't really see him becoming too much of a zealot in this one, though I do think he'll become so passionate again about helping "fix" people to the point that he maybe gets a little carried away. Starts doing "preventative" procedures. Maybe even unauthorized ones, and when the person on the operating table wakes up, he reassures them that it's all for their own good. It's fine, he tells them. He knows you didn't ask for new legs, but your knees were in bad shape anyway. He did what was best for you. You'll see.
Co-op sees him shuffle his way back to Singed. After having lost the last person he had any faith in, and remembering Singed's last words- how the man was right- Viktor decides that maybe he's better off working with the doctor after all.
I mean, if there was anyone who could keep up with him besides Jayce, it was Singed. His former teacher was the only one who could even come close to understanding what Viktor was going through. So he goes and finds him, and Singed eagerly welcomes him back. They don't agree on everything, even still- but more and more, Viktor starts to come around to Singed's ideals. The man is also eager to research whatever the hell is going on with Viktor. In this version, it's not that the arcane is ineffective, necessarily, but it still didn't magically heal Viktor entirely. He still lacks energy, coughs a lot, is in pain, and struggles to breathe. Maybe whatever terminal illness he had isn't gone; instead, the magic is actively combating it, working like an extra immune system. It's rolled back the progression of the illness significantly, but he's still sick. He'll still die if nothing is done.
So the two start looking into alternatives. Viktor's still hesitant at first, maybe deliberating over whether or not he even wants to keep fighting, keep living. But Singed insists. Possibly brings up his daughter, Orianna- or maybe just focuses on the good this research could do for the whole of Zaun. It's not just about Viktor anymore, he says. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Think of all the lives they could change together, if they managed to discover a cure- not just for this, but for all illnesses. A panacea that could ensure no other Zaunite ever had to suffer from the choking smog or the poisoned waters. This could make everything worth it.
So Viktor persists.
Eventually, they reach a breakthrough. After throwing everything they could into their research- hextech knowledge, shimmer, chemtech, and good old-fashioned mechanics- eventually, they're able to create the ultimate form. They augment Viktor with shimmer and machinery, and Viktor effectively becomes invulnerable. No more illnesses. No more exhaustion. He doesn't even need to sleep or eat anymore, and it should bother him- on some level it does- but all he can think about is how no one needs to suffer anymore.
No more broken bones, or misshapen spines, or wet, bloody coughs. Through metal and magic, he's transcended beyond the fragile flesh of man. He's free.
And it's time to share this freedom with the rest of Zaun.
#viktor arcane#fic idea#arcane s2#alternate universe#i just think they missed the mark on viktor a little tbh#like i think the machine stuff would be way cooler#i didnt even know wtf the magic stuff was all about#i still dont get it tbh#arcane critical#arcane s2 spoilers#arcane

why is this being posted? bc i can. have fun reading if you do.
☁️ SCHIZOID PHENOMENA, OBJECT RELATIONS, AND THE SELF by Harry Guntrip
(“The Picture of the Shut-In Individual,” starting at page.17)
The psychotherapist must be greatly concerned with those states of mind in which patients become inaccessible emotionally, when the patient seems to be bodily present but mentally absent. One patient said, “I don’t seem to come here”, as if she came in body but did not bring herself with her. She found herself in the same state of mind when she asked the young man next door to go on a walk with her. He did and she became tired, dull, unable to talk; she commented: “It was the same as when I come here: I don’t seem to be present.” Her reactions to food were similar. She would long for a nice meal and sit down to it and find her appetite gone, as if she had nothing to do with eating.
Complaints of feeling cut off, shut off, out of touch, feeling apart or strange, of things being out of focus or unreal, of not feeling one with people, or of the point having gone out of (page.17) life, interest flagging, things seeming futile and meaningless, all describe various ways this state of mind. Patients usually call it ‘depression’, but it lacks the heavy, black, inner sense of brooding, of anger and guilt, which are not difficult to discover in classic depression. Depression is really a more extraverted state of mind, which, while the patient is turning his aggression inwards against himself, is a part of a struggle not to break out into overt angry or aggressive behavior. The states described above are ‘schizoid states’. They are definitely introverted. Depression is object-relational. The schizoid person had renounced objects, even though he still needs them. (page.18)
External relationships seem to have been emptied by a massive withdrawal of the real libidinal self. Effective mental activity has disappeared into a hidden inner world; the patient’s conscious ego is emptied of vital feeling and action, and seems to have become unreal. You may catch glimpses of intense activity going on in the inner world through dreams and fantasies, but the patient’s conscious ego merely reports these as if it were a neutral observer not personally involved in the inner drama of which it is a detached spectator. The attitude of the outer world is the same: non-involvement and observation at a distance without any feeling, like that of a press reporter describing a social gathering of which he is not a part, in which he has no personal interest, and by which he is bored. (page.18)
These schizoid states may alternate between depression, and at times be confusedly mixed with it so that both schizoid and depressive signs appear. They are all degrees of intensity ranging from transient moods that come and go during a session, to states that persist over a long period, when they show very distinctively the specific schizoid traits. (page.18)
An example of a patient describing herself as depressed when she was really schizoid may be useful at this point. She opened the session by saying: “I’m very depressed. I’ve been just sitting and couldn’t get out of the chair. There seemed no purpose anywhere, the future blank. I’m very bored and want a big change. I feel hopeless, resigned, no way out, stuck. I’m wondering how I can manage somehow just to get around and (page.18) put up with it.” (Analyst: “Your solution is to damp everything down, don’t feel anything, give up all real relationship to people on an emotional level, and just “do things” in a mechanical way, be a robot.”) Her reaction brought out clearly the schizoid trait: “Yes, I felt this was dangerous. If I hadn’t made myself do something I’d have just sat, not bothered, not interested.” (Analyst: “That’s your reaction in analysis to me: don’t be influenced, don’t be moved, don’t be lured into reacting to me.”) Her reply was: “If I were moved at all, I’d feel very annoyed with you. I hate and detest you for making me like this. The more I’m inclined to be drawn towards you, the more I feel a fool, undermined.” (page.19)
The mere fact of the analyst’s presence as another human being with whom she needed to be emotionally real, i.e. express what she was actually feeling, created an emotional crisis in her with which she could only deal by abolishing the relationship. So her major defense against her anxieties was to keep herself emotionally out of reach, inaccessible, and keep everyone at arm’s length. (page.19)
(Living in an Internal World starting at page.19)
(a) Need of the Object and of internal Object Relations
He [schizoid] is driven by anxiety to cut himself off from all object-relations. Our needs, fears, frustrations, resentments and anxieties in our inevitable quest for good objects are the substance of psychopathology, because they are the real problem in life itself. When difficulties achieving and maintaining good object-relations are too pronounced, and human relations are attended with too great anxiety and conflict,, desperate efforts are often made to deny and eliminate this basic need. People go into their shell, bury themselves in work of an impersonal nature, abolish relations with actual people so far as they can, devote themselves to abstractions, ideals, theories, organizations, and so on. In the nature of the case these maneuvers cannot succeed and always end disastrously, since they are an attempt to deny our very nature itself. Clearly we cannot do that and remain healthy. (page.20)
The more people cut themselves off from human relations in the outer world, the more they are driven back on emotionally charged fantasied object-relations in their inner mental world, till the psychotic lives only in his inner world. (page.20)

How do you start working with an Entity? I've been interested in working with the Eye for a while now and have joked about being an Eye avatar plenty and I would like to be one fr but I'm kinda nervous like how do you go about that?
Hey, thanks for asking! This is gonna be a bit long so it'll be under a cut.
First thing I recommend is reading [this] post about things to keep in mind with entity work. It's primarily things to keep in mind before starting work with them
Overall, it's up to you how to want to start. Keep in mind that there is an increased chance of having the negative side effects apply as well. If you practice with other deities I recommend putting down fail-safes and protection against the worst of it. Just be prepared for the potential blowback. Hope for the best but expect the worst, y'know?
As for actually starting work, I recommend starting small. Most entities aren't going to be super talkative like other deities might, it's a lot more physical. Items, symbols, etc.
Another part is to do activities that you, personally, associate with the entity. The Web, for example, could be weaving or fiber arts. Hide-and-seek or tag for the Hunt, cooking/butchering meat for the Flesh, and people watching for the Eye.
For Beholding specifically I can recommend a few more things:
- Recording/writing down information
- organizing places you usually avoid
- walking behind people in public places (do NOT follow them outside of these areas)
- asking others for stories from their lives
- Eavesdropping in public places and/or writing notes on what you overhear
- going down morbid/dark information rabbit holes (make sure to keep yourself safe from viruses, tracking, etc.)
- watching horror movies focused on themes of stalking, unwanted knowledge, and eyes
In a rare case, you'll get friends who indulge your weirdness and will give you permission to do things most people... Wouldn't.
I say this because one of my friends got permission from some of their friends to follow them and take pictures occasionally (iirc they get shared with the person). It's pretty unlikely, but if you have someone that is super chill and might be fine with this then go for it! Do not do this to strangers.
^ this is because you can be reported to authorities and don't know if that person has a weapon. Same reason you don't follow behind others outside of public places.
Since the entities feed off of fear it's important to feed them either willingly (and controlled) through yourself or others. Most people will get uncomfortable from what's mentioned above, but make sure you keep an eye on their behavior. If they appear to get more erratic or dangerous stop following and disengage.
If going out to feed off others make sure you aren't wearing super distinct clothes (or, alternatively, distinct enough that you normally don't wear). Again, you want to be careful and manage how you go about it with strangers because they can report you to authorities if given enough reason. Avoid following the same person multiple times, be aware of your surroundings, and stay safe.
If you have any questions feel free to DM or send another ask!! Hope this helped a bit :D

Hello sweetheart!! Im a young writer, do u have any tips on how to start posting and organising the masterlist and stuff? Cus sometimes it’s kinda confusing, but you seem to manage it all so well it’s actually impressive
KISSES AND ILY!
Tips & Tricks

masterlist / about me
When I first started posting I was very confused and very overwhelmed. Here are a few tips and tricks that I've figured out over the years, that I wish someone would've told me back then:)
If you have any more questions, pm me! I'll always reply. I love you all so deeply and I'm more than willing to help:)
These are suggestions/optional. You do not have to do everything I say. These are just a few methods I used when I first started. Do what makes you happy and do what works for you and your account:)
Remember we all need to start somewhere, don't be scared, believe in yourself! Its all trail and error. Your work/account might not be perfect in the beginning but I swear practice makes perfect <3
How to Start Writing Fanfiction:
Choose a Fandom You Love: Start with a universe you know well—your passion will translate to better writing.
Pick a Format: Decide if you’re writing one-shots, a multi-chapter fic, drabbles, or headcanons. Or you could write all of them.
Start with a Prompt or Trope: Popular tropes like “hurt/comfort,” “friends to lovers,” “fake dating,” or “enemies to lovers” are great entry points.
Use a Simple Structure: For beginners, aim for a basic story arc—introduction, conflict, resolution. Your plot doesn’t need to be complex; emotional impact matters more.
Find your niche: We are such a big community with many many writers. Find who you are, the thing people will know your account by.
For example: I've seen people point out they like my dark fics. Whether it's depressing, violent or I have dark twists, im known for writing dark things in general.
The Importance of Tags (and How to Use Them):
Why Tags Matter:
- Help readers find your story.
- Give content warnings.
- Set expectations (genre, tone, ships).
How to Tag Effectively:
- Include the ship name, characters, fandom name, and tropes.
- Add CW (content warnings) like: violence, NSFW, major character death, etc.
- Use common, searchable terms so your fic shows up in filtered searches.
Example Tags:
#Ellie Williams x Reader #Enemies to Lovers #Post-TLOU2 #Angst with Happy Ending #Possessive Behavior #Fluff #Smut #Yandere Ellie
Making Mutuals & Finding Community:
Engage Authentically:
- Comment on other writers’ works.
- Reblog/retweet with tags like “This is so good!” or “I love how you wrote X.”
Be Friendly in Your Notes: Use author’s notes to connect: “Let me know what you think!” or “Any requests?”
Follow Similar Creators: Find mutuals through similar ships or tropes and be consistent in engaging with them.
Know Your Audience & What’s Trending:
Lurk First:
- Spend time reading fanfics in your fandom.
- Note the tags and tropes with the most likes/comments.
Use Sites like AO3, Tumblr, TikTok, Reddit, or Twitter (X): Search by “most kudos” or trending tags. On Tumblr or TikTok, search fan edits and memes—they reveal current obsessions.
Examples of What’s Usually Popular: Canon divergence, fix-it fics, NSFW fics, angsty reunions, found family, or character x reader dynamics.
Ideas for a Masterlist
Your masterlist is like a directory of your works. Organize it by theme or format:
Masterlist Sections:
- One-Shots
- Multi-Chapter Fics
- Smut / NSFW
- Fluff / Comfort
- Angst / Dark Themes
- Headcanons
- AU (Alternate Universe) Fics
- Requests/Fulfilled Prompts
Example Layout:
MASTERLIST
Ellie Williams x Reader
“Run” (Enemies to lovers, post-apocalyptic setting)
“Mine First” (Jealousy, smut, possessive!Ellie)
- Consistency is better than perfection. Even messy stories connect with readers when they’re heartfelt.
- Use second-person (“you”) for reader inserts. It helps with immersion.
- If writing NSFW, research consent and dynamics well. It matters for respectful, hot writing.
- Don’t be discouraged by low notes at first. Growth takes time and visibility builds as you publish more.
- Keeping your masterlist updated is key to staying organized, building your audience, and making it easy for readers to binge your work.
How to Keep Your Masterlist Updated (Without Stress):
Choose Where to Host It: Tumblr: Use a pinned post, then link to it in your bio.
Add New Fics Immediately After Posting: Best habit: After publishing a fic, immediately open your masterlist and:
Add the title, link, and a short summary/tags.
Place it in the right category (e.g., angst, fluff, smut).
Example:
> • “Bad Idea” – [Link]
Possessive!Ellie, hurt/comfort, post-breakup tension. (Angst/NSFW)
Highlight New or Popular Works: Use a “New!” or “Most Popular” tag so mutuals and new readers know what’s trending in your work.
Optional: bold, italicize, or use emojis if you like a more styled layout.
Reblog or Post Updates Regularly: Every few weeks, reblog your updated masterlist and say: “Updated! New Ellie x reader fic added—smutty, jealous, and tender.”
This keeps the post visible and invites new readers.
Organize as You Go: If you’re writing a lot, consider reformatting your list:
- By character or ship.
- By genre (fluff, angst, NSFW).
- By theme (AUs, canon-divergence, reader-inserts).
Create a Quick Editing System: Keep a template like this in your phone (to make things easier):
Title:
Link:
Ship:
Tags:
Summary:
Copy-paste that into your masterlist.
Back it up occasionally: Take screenshots or save your list to a document. Tumblr glitches or deletions happen—and having a backup prevents chaos.

Hi, I hope you’re doing well and congrats on your upcoming new job!
I was wondering if you can share any advice for being a children’s librarian? Without going into too much detail I accepted a job as an elementary school library assistant without knowing that I’d be the *sole* librarian and be in charge of managing 30 minute classes multiple times a day and I’m struggling since I’m really not trained enough and was hoping to learn under somebody (silly me for assuming assistant actually meant assistant).
Thank you for any insight and I hope you have a wonderful week!
oh i'm SO excited to answer this ask (sorry that it's taken forever to get around to!), because i LOVE to talk library stuff!!!! to be fair, all my library experience is in a public library setting, so take the following with a grain of salt, because school & public libraries are very different worlds!!! also, there is SO much nitty gritty i could get into regarding the ins and outs of a good storytime program or how to nail reader's advisory, but that would just get overwhelming. instead, i will give you my guiding library work principles, especially when working with kids:
unconditional positive regard
this is actually a concept from the counseling/social work world, but i think it applies to just about any "helping" profession. more or less, unconditional positive regard is the idea that no matter what a person does or says, you will still value & accept them for who they are. it doesn't mean you agree with or like or approve of everything they do — it's more about communicating that even when you dislike a behavior, your respect & love for that child doesn't change. this is harder than it sounds (the "unconditional" part will sometimes really test you), and it has to be communicated implicitly & consistently (you can't just say "i will care about you no matter what!" and be done with it), but when you pull it off, it's a game changer
make it simple
no, simpler than that. yeah, keep going. even simpler. okay now we're getting somewhere! especially when you're overwhelmed and under-staffed, simplify everything as much as you can. you know how when you buy a cat a fancy new toy, they don't care about the toy and just want the box it came in? yeah, kids are like that too. they don't care about things being pinterest-perfect. they just want to have fun. some fingerpaint and a piece of cardstock is way less work than a meticulously prepared craft, and usually more successful, too
roll with it
working with children is inherently unpredictable and uncontrollable in a lot of ways. sometimes the kiddos' collective attention span has absolutely run out, so you put down the book halfway through and start blowing bubbles instead. that's not a failure — it's smart and effective!! if something is not working, don't force it. stay adaptable and don't get too attached to any one plan or idea, because things rarely, if ever, go exactly how you intended them to
redirect & replace!
this is a huge behavior management strategy, especially with the younger crowd. telling kids "don't yell!!!" isn't very effective, because that yelling is serving a purpose to them — expressing excitement, maybe — and they don't have the self regulation skills to just stop expressing that powerful emotion. instead, we need to find an alternate behavior to replace yelling that still manages to serve the purpose of the unwanted behavior. maybe we teach them how to applaud in ASL, and then they stop screaming every time the wildlife presenter brings out a new animal, because they now have another way to express their excitement & delight that doesn't frighten the animals (true story!). in other words, try to determine what purpose an unwanted behavior is serving & substitute a more desired behavior that accomplishes the same purpose. this will get you a billion times farther than "sit down! stop running! no yelling!"
if you have any more specific questions, just let me know!!! good luck — folks who work in education are absolute badasses & i salute you!!
#also embrace chaos!!!!!!#it will be there regardless!!!! might as well love it!!!!!#asked and answered#big sister advice#library life

Today, our information feeds and social media are largely governed by algorithms optimized to maximize engagement, often amplifying the most inflammatory content. With every view, like, and share analyzed to predict and steer our behaviors, we risk becoming subjects of surveillance and manipulation rather than active participants in civic discourse.
In 2025, we will start laying the groundwork for more empathetic and inclusive social networks, with the adoption of what I call “prosocial media.” This is media that doesn't just capture the attention of users but catalyzes mutual understanding between them. Media that empowers every voice, while fostering the capacity to listen across differences. Media that enables citizens to positively shape the digital public sphere.
One crucial aspect of prosocial media is the ability to allow people to collaboratively add context to potentially misleading information, thereby fostering a more informed discourse. Initiatives like Community Notes on X.com (formerly Twitter) and YouTube, for example, have successfully implemented this for public posts. A recent study, for instance, showed that Twitter Community Notes is an effective tool, reducing the number of retweets of potentially misleading posts by almost half and increasing the probability that a tweet is deleted by the user by 80 percent.
In Taiwan, Cofacts, a community-sourced fact-checking platform, is taking this concept further by empowering citizens to contextualize messages within private groups as well. Launched in 2017 by the civic technology community g0v, the platform was successfully adopted in Thailand in 2019. Research by Cornell University found that Cofacts managed to be quicker and as accurate in dealing with misinformation queries as professional fact-checking sites.
Prosocial media also addresses the centralization of social media platforms and the resulting unhealthy concentration of curation power in the hands of a few tech giants. It does this by using decentralized social networking protocols which enable content to flow seamlessly between different social media platforms. Last year, for instance, Meta’s Threads joined the Fediverse, a group of social media platforms that can communicate with one another, including Mastodon and Wordpress. This will eventually allow users on Threads to follow accounts and publish posts on other social networks. In February 2024, another decentralized platform, Bluesky (funded by Twitter founder Jack Dorsey) was also launched to the public.
Decentralization holds the promise of a more democratic internet, where people have greater control over their data and online experiences, leading to a proliferation of local communities, all interconnected through open protocols. This is increasingly valued by users. For instance, research at the University of Cincinnati found that users on decentralized social networks like Mastodon have joined primarily because they could control their information from data mining.
Breaking free of this attention economy will also require bold innovations in the very design of our digital platforms. In 2025, we will start doing that by using AI systems to help us prioritize content that promotes understanding and bridges divides, creating digital spaces that foster genuine dialogue rather than conflict. For instance, Stanford University and Jigsaw, the team created by Google to address global security problems and threats to open societies, have created AI tools that score social media posts and comments based on values like compassion, respect, and curiosity. In April 2024, they published research that demonstrated that ranking posts and comments based on such values significantly reduces reported animosity among users.
In 2025, a new wave of prosocial media platforms will finally start bridging the online divides, highlighting instead the common ground that unites us.

Renegade!Sci

Info post about the au
(If characters seem OOC ((Out Of Character)) it's beacause I'm going off of my own interpretations/headcanons/fandom versions. So please be aware of that)
More info under the cut (Info is subject to change at any time. Info may be added to as well)
-Jobs in the group: Leader, Science experiments (either making stuff that could be useful to them or to help the group survive), managing the radio (trying to get a signal to contact other survivors)
Weapons of choice: ray gun like gaster blaster, spear like giant needles
-Head canon voice: ???
-One of the more smarter people in the group. Is the leader of the group, though he considers the title unofficial, since no one said he was he just kinda became the leader over a period of time.
-Is trying to research both ways for the group to effectively live with things that they have or can get their hands on. So a lot of his research consists of building random things and testing to see if they work, e.g. alternate ways to get power, or better water filters, etc.
-He’s also researching Wraiths. Though theres only so much he can do without putting anyone in danger. But it’s getting to the point in his research where he needs a more hands on approach to it, either that be trying to go out and document Wraith behaviors or trying to study dead ones before they disappear, etc. Might even consider catching one, but knows so much things can go wrong and knows it might get people killed, so is putting that on hold for now.
-Prefers to work in complete silence. But doesn’t mind hearing others talk/others playing sounds/music in the background, just prefers it to be quiet when it’s just him.
-Even though he’s classed as the leader, he appointed Night,Geno and Echo as sudo-leaders for when he wants peace, and since those 3 tend to be level-headed when it comes to making choices for the group.
-Is often standing, as standing desks and doesn’t sit down too often, will often fidget if sat down, just can’t seem to get comfortable.
-Feels a bit of pressure because he's seen as the leader. Is constantly worrying about the survival of the group and generally keeping everyone safe. Tends to try to hide his worries, but everyone can basically see through it.
-To somewhat add to the point above, he’s a horrible liar. He sucks at lying and easily gets caught in it. Most of the others try not to question him on it though, as they know he has his reasons for not wanting to give an answer to things. But since half of the group don’t question it he thinks he’s better at lying that what he actually is.
-Is awake most of the time, has to basically be forced to go to bed, even then it takes him ages to get to sleep.
-Talks very quickly and if he’s distracted he tends to mumble making him very hard to understand what he’s saying.
-Type of guy to answer a question no matter how stupid it may seem, also the type of guy to keep answering even if the person has asked the question a few times before. Understands people process information differently and how easy it is to forget things. So never judges people for these things.
-Is one of the more younger in the group, being 23, most of the others being older than that and a few being a similar age.
-Doesn’t mind what kind of people are in the group, doesn’t care for their backgrounds or where they were before the apocalypse as long as they can pull their weight and help out when needed thats all he cares about.
-Tries to keep his life somewhat private, both before and during the apocalypse. Very few know more about him. Most basically know nothing about him other than what they see of him.
-The one who tends to hang out with him the most is Fell, and Fell also tries to take care of him when he isn’t taking care of himself. Fell basically brings him back down to earth a lot of the time. Sci found it annoying at first, but has grown to appreciate what Fell does for him.
-Has a somewhat good memory, providing he wrote what he needs to remember down, writing something down helps him visualize what he needs to remember, so just has several notebooks of random notes. Doesn’t mind anyone going through them.
-Despite being the leader, he has limited interactions with most of the others, other than when they’re doing their jobs. Most of the others still have respect for him though despite this.
-For a short time lived off of caffeine based things, but Fell banned him, since Sci would use caffeine to try to stay up for longer.
-He’s kinda bad at interacting with most of the others, since he hasn't spent much time with anyone of them. The others have had time to get to know one another, whereas Sci feels like he’s been left behind in that regard because of his job. Doesn’t know what to do about it, so just let it continue to happen.
-When he walks around there’s normally a distinct metal clank/clink sound due to clipping tools onto his hoops of his clothing. So often people know its Sci walking around when they hear it.
How they feel about:
Nightmare: Has respect for Night, knows Night has worked hard to try to get the approval of the others. He knew from the start Night wasn’t the reason for the apocalypse and was quick to let anyone else know that fact. Though he knows Night is keeping something from him, he’s unsure if its about the apocalypse’s cause/Wraiths/etc, he just knows one of his equipment that deals in locating negative energy produced by Wraiths went off around Night. He never told Night why it went off at first assuming the machine mistook Night’s negative energy for a Wraith. But he feels something's there. But since Night has done a lot for the group he’s not going to question him for now.
Dream: Dream will sometimes quietly sit in the room and listen in on any convocation and may once in a while ask a question. Doesn’t mind Dream being there, and appreciates for the most part that Dream stays quiet and lets him work. But he wouldn’t mind if Dream was to talk more.
Cross: Kinda feels bad when he sees Cross, since he basically made Night immediately take care of Cross instead of getting to know Cross himself like how he’s done for most of the others. But when seeing Cross it seems Cross adjusted pretty quickly to the group and life in the group thanks to Night’s guidance. They don’t interact much but Sci makes an effort to ask Cross how he’s doing when they run into each other.
Blue: Doesn’t interact too much with him, will sometimes ask Blue to do a task or two every now and then.
Ink: Told Ink to try not to mess with things in his work space, it’s the same rule he gives to everyone else in the group, but he has a feeling Ink took offense to it, probably assuming it was a rule only for them. Has caught Ink putting googly eyes on his stuff, he does get annoyed by it, but he slowly over time turned it into a game of seeing how many of the eyes he can find, every now, and then he finds an eye or two in completely random places.
Dust: Not much interactions with Dust, but realized when he asks Dust to do something for him Dust will do it without any questions.
Horror: Not really any interactions with Horror other than talking to him about ways to help with growing food.
Killer: No real opinion on Killer, knows when they do interact that Killer doesn’t seem to care too much about his status as the leader. He’s unsure if he should feel glad about it or not.
Error: If he ever needs any help on the tech side of anything he knows he can ask Error about it. But other than that they don’t have too much interactions.
Lust: Very few interactions, but does appreciate the fact Lust reminds him to take care of himself.
Fell/Edge: Gets along well with him, the one in the group he talks to the most, Fell is also the one who knows the most about Sci. And appreciates all that Fell does for him, either it be keeping the others from bothering him, keeping his work space clear, forcing him to take care of himself. Just appreciates it all, so it a lot more willing to give Fell the time of day.
Geno: The second one in the group he talks to most, they just have similar interests and also similar curiosities when it comes to the apocalypse. So often they have a lot to talk about either it be theories or just talking about things they’ve found out.
Outer: Not much interactions other than their jobs, Outer is the one he hears about random stuff about the others from. Helps him slightly to understand the others better.
Reaper/Death: He doesn’t have an opinion of him really, he didn’t even know that such a being existed. Tries to ask Reaper questions now and then but Reaper can be selective about answering them.
Fresh: Hasn’t met him.
Gans/Echo: Sometimes Echo may come to his work space to help out now and then, but other than that they tend to interact mostly in the Radio room, trying to get into contact with other survivors.
Chief: He has some interactions with Chief, but in terms of jobs Outer tends to cover getting into too and from him. So he doesn’t see Chief as much.
