Here are some Marvin the Magnificent Headcanons since it was their birthday recently!!

Quick disclaimer before we begin is that I exclusively have used they/them pronouns for Marvin throughout this post (I headcannon them as being Non-Binary) I just wanted to quickly mention this before we begin to save any confusion!!

-Can naturally do magic, it's part of their family heritage and they're by far one of the strongest magic users in their family

-The pointy ears and unnatural eyes are a physical mark to show that they can do magic/aren't fully human (think of it being similar to the Witches in The Owl House)

-The reason they have cat eyes specifically is because that's the animal that their familiars with, every witch has a specific animal they have a kinship with and Marvin's just so happens to be a cat! (Witches will gain certain abilities attaining to whatever animal they're kin too- in Marvin's case they're extremely agile, can see in the dark and are more sensitive to sound, they also have 9 lives)

-Marvin has died before, so now they're only on 8 lives. Ever since then they've been extremely overly cautious

-in terms of magic they used to specialise in illusions and theatrical based spells- as well as potions. When they realised that their life could potentially be in danger due to Anti they started studying the ever loving fuck out of offence and defence spells. Something that can be extremely difficult because you're learning how to fight AND how to learn magic at the exact same time

-whatever society Marvin is from, they don't rely on technology as much/their technology has developed differently and is directly sourced from magic. Basically what I'm saying is that they literally have no fucking clue how any technology works (they get along famously with JJ because of this)

-The society that Marvin is from also just, does not have the same gender roles or heteronormivity that our society does- so they've always been completely comfortable and excepted in their identity as a queer(nblm) Non-Binary individual (they didn't know the exact labels for this since it's not a thing where Marvin is from- there are just people with preferences in how they express themselves and that's basically where it ends in their society)

-Marvin is only in this current world due to the experiments of IRIS- them meddling with Portals and Marvin being in the crossfire of one, being dragged to this world without a way to get back, only having a few spell books, potions and items to their name (this is what ties them to IRIS, since they're the only people that are capable of sending them back home)

-they met Jackie when they where in the process of stealing that magic orb- Jackie was suspicious of this, until he realised that Marvin is probably the only person who could actually use it in the way it was intended too

-Marvin only started to become romantically attracted to Jackie when he started showing his softer side. As much as he does love his outgoing, confident and loud personality, it was seeing the genuine compassion and care Jackie has for people that truly made them love him

Which Blue Lock Characters Have Gone To Therapy, In My Humble Opinion. (+ Who Desperately Needs To But Hasn't + Who Might In The Future)

Warnings: Some spoilers for way past the U-20 Arc, also not an extensive list of characters, honestly kind of funny. I wasn't trying to be TOO serious

Has Gone To Therapy And Loves Their Therapist Gang

-Anri, There is no way she is able to have that much patience and take that much shit from corporate without having a therapist. I think she uses like 1/5th of her paycheck on books about improving your life and stuff like that LMAO. Her therapist is also a woman so it helps her to have someone who understands her frustrations with not really getting credit despite being one of the founders of Blue Lock. Also sometimes she gets worried she's unethical towards the boys so that weighs on her.

-Kenyu, Look it's still in progress ok? He was just starting before he came to Blue Lock. Once he realized he was going to lose his vision he started working with a professional and found it really helpful. In fact they were the one who encouraged him to go after Blue Lock in the first place. One of the reasons he was so quick to say sorry to Isagi is because he has those #coping skills.

-Gagumaru, After having a run in with a bear in the woods he kept having nightmares and his parents made him go to therapy. Well it was kindddd of therapy..it was a hippie who's a family friend. That doesn't mean he doesn't know grounding techniques. He even taught Naruhaya how to calm down from a panic attack once. But yeah, he doesn't really tell people that he went to therapy

-Snuffy, After his best friend's death he went to therapy ASAP. The type to only call his therapist once every 5 months and still have a rock solid relationship with them. His therapist helped him break his womanizing habit and realize that he's enough all on his own. 100% did some soul searching and stepped away from the scene. He also combined the therapist with a personal trainer to really max out his healing process. 100/10 dude for it.

"I Have Gone To Therapy And It Didn't Work" Crew

-Chigiri, Similar to Kenyu, his parents thought he might need some mental health help after the trauma of thinking he'd never be an athlete again. But he was one of those cold shoulder my mom is forcing me to do this cases. He never actually worked through what he might do if this whole thing falls through. Also snarkiness 100, his therapist almost quit because he was so insulting to them. Chigiri just felt ashamed that his parents even thought he should go in the first place and convinced his sister to also beg them to stop taking him lmao.

-Isagi, Okay at some point his parents realize he takes faliure wayyy too hard and tried to get him in therapy. When he talked to the therapist though the dude was like "Yeah, he's just competitive. Nothing wrong here." Alas, he's been masking for so long that he's incapable of revealing his issues to anyone who hasn't known him for 3 years or plays sports with him. Also, he convinced himself he doesn't need it and then idly imagines just going apeshit and killing his enemies to cope with stress...like bro...

-Noa, Why do you think he gets along with Isagi? All jokes aside, his PR people probably asked him to do it and he went and then secretly never went back. It honestly didn't work because he wasn't willing to give it a chance. And still isn't!!!! Would rather backflip off of a yacht than tell someone in a lounge chair about how growing up in intense poverty still haunts him sometimes, makes him question his worth and avoid conflict in day to day life. Sometimes he wonders if one day he'll wake up and find out it was all a dream....But nah he doesn't need therapy!

-Oliver, He was soooo close to actually getting his mental health in check but then his therapist retired. After that he got another really seasoned one and saw the amount of case files in his desk and just felt like a straight up burden. One of those "other people have it worse" and "it is what it is" guys. He's very open about his emotions and feelings so he just talks to his friends when he's really struggling. (Even though Sendou never says the right things-) Like yeah it's their job but why bug these nice people when sex?? Why talk about issues in sessions when he can get drunk or go train for 4 hours??? Riddle him that?

The "I Need Therapy And I Know It" Team

-Ness, He has so many fucking issues. Honestly, despite his devout worship of Kaiser he does realize that his behavior isn't quite healthy or normal. Dude tries to show you a funny video on his phone and all of his ads are for Betterhelp. Genuinely trying to figure out a diagnosis. Yes he has looked up all sorts of personality disorders and no he doesn't think he has any of them (He has at least two). But again, Ness is self aware enough to know that some help or someone to talk to who sees him as an actual human being would be nice.

-Niko, He cannonicaly describes himself as very very introverted and nerdy, also he hides his face. Tell me you were bullied in school or at least had an extremely traumatizing incident without telling me. Kind of never had anyone, just people who hung around because of his soccer skill or avoided him like the plague. He is that guy who will rant about "society" online for hours and fantasize about moving to a different country thinking he'd get better treatment there. Cripplingly lonely and self conscious at the end of the day, in all honesty. Also he genuinely wants a therapist but just can't afford one.

-Hiori, Obviously his parents are the ones who stop him. He tries to go and his mom realizes where he's making her drive him and swerves off. Even when he gets his license, you just know they're tracking everywhere he goes. He doesn't have enough privacy to really get better like that, Hiori has to wait until he moves out. Still genuinely fucked up by the fact that Gagumaru has gotten therapy and he hasn't. Just listens to emo music and plays video games and pretends that that fixes everything. He's totally releasing a top-selling book about his horrible childhood after Blue Lock.

-Bachira, Is he outgoing and silly? Yes. Does he need better coping skills? Also yes. Men will tell you the most horrible and traumatizing childhood memories about getting jumped and then laugh it off, and it's him, Bachira is men. He ties to brush off his trauma with humor but it never really works. He knows that he genuinely needs to talk to someone other than Isagi or his mom about the Monster and how it was by his side for so long. But also never goes through with getting professional help, just thinks about it sometimes.

The "What's Therapy? Fuck You!" Group

-Kaiser, Oh god, don't even suggest it to him. I headcannon that mental illness kind of runs in his family. He's watched family members be taken away for being too out there and openly mentally ill so he has a reason to not trust doctors. Just associates therapy and things like it with abusive institutions. If he told a therapist all of his issues, he'd probably be sent to a psyche ward. Just the threat of being sent there single handedly kept him from killing himself or talking about his feelings when he was younger. He will continue to just be slightly abusive to the people around him thank you very much.

-Ego, Bro's got the government banning him from soccer and you think he's thinking of therapy? When Anri tells him he needs it offhand, he's like, revenge is my therapy. Insane as fuck but thinks that it's a good thing. He is not willing to talk about his issues to anyone, but especially not someone who will write it all down. Genuinely ruined a few relationships in his past because the main people he attracts are the "I Can Fix Him" people and it just never works. Suprisingly unself aware for how much he analyzes others.

-Barou, His main issue is just shame and failed gifted kid syndrome. But as soon as he's back up he's convinced he doesn't need help. Barou suffers from really high highs and really low lows but he also has the mental fortitude to handle it. He is a well adjusted and kind enough person outside of the soccer field so he never considers that he needs therapy. When he feels bad about himself he hits the gym but he's never really opened up to anyone and he sure isn't going to start once he gets more famous. Especially when he's seen as one of the best right now, can't risk his reputation.

-Rin, He's would rather gut himself with a sword than admit that his mental illness doesn't make him a cool loner wolf and just a lonely person who hasn't healed his inner child. Kind of just wants someone to baby him and tell him everything's going to be alright but in the mean time his barriers are up 24/7. He disdains therapy, thinks that he'd just be seen as a pay check and he kind of isn't wrong. Rin would rather pay money for expensive cleats than spend it for someone to suggest him breathing exercises. He also had a traumacore phase, but he'd rather not talk about it.

A/n: HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY ANON!! I hope you have a great one! ^^, I hope you don't mind that I just did Engineer Mark, I was having trouble writing for the other two, but enjoy none the less!

Would feel incredibly bad if he found out it was your birthday and didn’t know

Especially since the whole crew knew and had been wishing you well and presenting you with gifts throughout the whole day, much to Marks confusion 

He’s on his hands and knees for forgiveness right now

He’ll do absolutely everything to make it up to you no matter how much you reassure him he’ll insist, so there's no real point in arguing with him

There's not that much you can do in space, and even if there was there's certainly not enough time when your the Captain

But Mark is determined to make your birthday a great one, anything you want or need he’ll do it for you

Hungary, but don’t have enough time to make something? Marks got you, Necks cramped but you don’t have time to take a nap? No problem

He’ll try to whip something up for you the day of, but it probably doesn’t go as planned, it was a nice thought though

And even when the days done, Mark hasn’t finished everything he set out to do

Before you settle down getting ready for sleep Mark knocks on your door

Confused you open it, immediately skeptical as to what could have possibly brought Mark here at this time of night 

He’ll simply hush your questions and concerns as he leads you to a distant room in the ship

But as soon as he reveals what he was planning to you, you gasp in delight

In the room Mark set up a small picnic blanket, covered with your favorite snacks and homemade desserts, you don’t know how he managed to acquire all of the sweets but frankly you didn’t really care

Marks eyes twinkled as he watched the excitement spread across your face, Mark let out a surprised yelp when you threw your arms around him, before he chuckled, hugging you back with the same intensity, smiling as you held each-other

Iplier Egos Head Cannon - What Song in "Encanto" Did They Get Emotional During?

He wouldn’t really cry for any of them in particular (feeling that he doesn’t necessarily relate to any of them)

However

He would look at certain egos to watch their reactions during different songs

He would notice the small things that happen and slowly learn more about his “brothers” based on the musical numbers and their lyrics

After the movie, he’d probably go and visit the egos that had the worst reactions (who got the most emotional or those who would straight up leave the room)

He did get a little bothered listening to “Dos Oruguitas” though

He didn’t get emotional per say

But watching Pedro die with the love song in the background kinda reminded him of when he lost Celine

Fortunately, he opted not to dwell on it too much

Eventually, it got to be too much (especially seeing how Mirabel was pushed away by her family after trying to help them) and he left the room, using the excuse of getting more snacks

As soon as he entered the kitchen, he had a silent breakdown

Isabella creating spiky plants and beautiful flowers in front of him makes his optics widen and he slowly smiles, feeling an odd mixture of happiness and sadness as he watches her accept her imperfections in spite of her family’s expectations

When it’s revealed that Bruno has been shunned by his family because of his gift, he smiled sadly

“How unfortunate,” he thought, “for someone to be abandoned because of something uncontrollable and never be spoken of again for fear of taboo”

He’s seen patients in the hospital who never have anyone visit them

He always feels sad when he finds out that someone has been abandoned

He secretly makes trips to animal shelters for that reason, to visit the abandoned animals and give them some love

He gets happy again when Bruno is reunited with his loved ones who welcome him back with open arms

He wouldn’t relate to any of the English songs enough to have a real reaction

He gets emotional during certain parts of the movie because he recognizes a lot of what’s going on in the Madrigal family (Toxic family roles and stuff like that)

He feels bad for the characters (especially Mirabel and Bruno)

But when “Dos Oruguitas” starts playing and we find out the heartbreaking truth behind Abuelo Pedro’s death

He hates to imagine the pain Abuela went through, losing the love of her life

Yandere, being a very romantic man, can’t stand the thought of his own senpai leaving him

Like, she’s everything to him!

He’d become very protective of her after watching this movie, afraid of anyone taking her away from him

He’s fine with the movie though, loves the music for the most part

WECAD: The want to live life how he wants without being the picture perfect civilian that the world wants him to be

He thinks very highly of this movie and loves it to bits

He does eventually become frustrated with how often “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” gets sung by people both online and in real life

Like, he gets that it’s a catchy song, but still, give it a break

Yes, Illinois is a special adventurous and flirtatious boy 

But not everything is really as it seems with him

His whole “Everyone falls in love with me” act is a facade

He’s trying to convince himself that he’s loved / cared about by someone

He took up adventuring to be different

To be a conversation starter

To be interesting so that somebody

ANYBODY

Would look his way and want to be around him 

After all..

He wasn’t special or cool enough growing up to have many / any friends

He sees way too much of himself in Mirabel and ends up leaving the group for a few minutes to cry in the bathroom

Blue lock hcs part 3: I’m back on my bullshit.

Ego smokes weed. There is absolutely never a time where he is at least not a little bit high.

Anri has tried to literally get rid of it all to make him focus, but she quickly found out that the weed makes up for at least half of Ego’s braincells.

Kaiser’s first thought upon waking up everyday is “how I can ruin everything for everyone”.

Bachira plays Animal Crossing.

He tried introducing it to Isagi and Rin, but they lost interest because it wasn’t about soccer.

Shidou lies about his age to everyone. Sae thinks he’s eighteen, while Rin is still under the assumption that a fourteen year old almost beat him. 

Kunigami is a Marvel stan. His fave is Thor.

Lavinho has a pierced belly. DON’T TAKE THIS AWAY FROM ME.

Aryuu runs a steady Chigiri hate club(mainly because he’s jealous of Chigiri’s luscious locks).

IRIS member uniform headcannon designs!

So based on IRIS being about research but also wAtching you and how it could relate to RGB (the digital primary colors) I thought it’ll be cool if IRIS had 3 divisions

Rsearchr (researcher)

Watchr (watcher)

Sorcr (sorcerer)

All 3 work together but only Rsearchr’s and watchr’s knows what’s really going on. Sorcrs are left in the dark.

These designs are what the more base level members uniforms are like

And Marvin, Henrik, and Jackie used to be at this base level

Marvin was once a rsearchr, Henrik a watchr, and Jackie a sorcr

The Rseachrs are at fault for Antisepticeye and it’s been up to the watchrs to find him. The sorcrs are trying to take him down

Jackie does eventually leaves IRIS thinking he can be more helpful without his title as a sorcr stopping him which eventually leads him to be a superhero

But this is my headcannons for IRIS and it’s connection to the other egos! What do you think? 👀

i am so for the idea of anti being this eldritch being in a similar way that pyramid head is.

like he is a manifestation of what is wrong with chase and his "sins." which is perhaps why only chase can "summon" anti; because anti isn't just some leech that wants power, he's a malefic force from someone he's part of.

however, now that he's his own being that can do as he pleases, separate from chase, he indulges in all the terrible things chase is too scared to act on. and anti wants contact with chase because he sees his fear as opportunity.

Markiplier Egos + Sanders Sides: Who I think would get along

☆ Warfstache and Remus

These two are both crazy, don't see repercussions for actions, and their color pallets are opposites. They would get along so well, no one can change my mind.

☆ Darkiplier and Logan

Ok, this one could be pretty out there, but hear me out. They're both very composed people with short tempers. They both are tired of giving people choices and just want people to think logically. They're both tired of being pushed aside. They would have amazing conversations with eachother.

☆ Actor Mark and Janus

They both are liars that scheme. They would both sit together and do evil laughs while scheming their schemes.

☆ Head Engineer and Patton

Both are very sweet with emotional sides. Both could connect on their expectations being heald that they feel they both cannot meet. They could have some very heart-felt conversations with each other.

☆ Jim and Roman

Another one that might be kind of out there, but I feel like they'd just have a connection. Roman and Jim are very adventurous and could do all sorts of shenanigans together. Jim would go to report on Roman's slaying of dragons and saving or princes. Roman would tag along to help direct Jim's reports. It'd just be a silly little thing they have.

☆ Damien and Virgil

Idk what it is about them, but I just feel they'd get along. Both like to carry extra weight on their shoulders, they'd just connect over the stress that they feel.

Imagine.

Imagine a Phantom who, for whatever happenstance of his existence, cannot feel positive emotions on his own, all he can do is share the ones of mortals he interacts with. Sure, for a while he is kind with it, he shares and both party seem to win but it's hollow. It doesn’t feel enough for him. So, eventually, he makes his first deal, and takes all that joy and contentedness from them, all for himself. And he feels great. All that joy and contentedness, all for him and him alone. Why should he have to share it with these pathetic mortals, who don't even appreciate their gifts.

So he keeps doing it, making more and more deals to chase that delicious high until, eventually, his deal in his music video, where we see him not as he was, not kind anymore, but truly the selfish dealbroker he was always meant to be. And he feels great.

-Anti refuses to tell his S/O that he WANTS physical affection and will instead make up stupid reasons to why they should cuddle/hug, so instead of asking to cuddle or hug he will be like "I will die right now of a heart attack if I do not get a hug, I can feel it in my non-existent soul"

-Doesn't sleep but will pretend to sleep just so he can have you in his arms, he will stay still for hours holding you as you sleep, just so he can admire you. Not that he would EVER admit that, no, he has far too much pride.
