If you were honestly more concerned with advocating for Palestinians than you are hating a specific group of people, you would be disavowing these actions the loudest. But instead all we hear is a deafening silence, and worse… When a minority group tells you there’s a problem with your movement, listen to us, don’t “but” and “if” our concerns. Don’t bring up one Jewish person or 12 who agree with you or are too afraid to tell you what they really feel. Because tokenism is racism.

BY ISHA BANERJEE AND APURVA CHAKRAVARTHY
#EndJewHatred hosted a protest in support of Business School assistant professor Shai Davidai on Wednesday, calling on University President Minouche Shafik to resign for allegedly not doing enough to protect Jewish students.
The protest came hours after Shafik testified before the House Committee on Education and the Workforce in a hearing titled “Columbia in Crisis: Columbia University’s Response to Antisemitism.”
The protesters gathered at 5:30 p.m. at 116th Street and Broadway with Davidai and members of #EndJewHatred, a movement “centering on Jewish liberation from all forms of oppression and discrimination.” The protest drew over 200 Columbia and non-Columbia affiliates.
Davidai decided to host the protest with #EndJewHatred after it “became clear to us that the University is not going to allow us to organize a protest for the community,” he said in a speech at the protest.
He called for Shafik to “do the decent thing and step down” after repeatedly saying that Shafik had lied in her congressional testimony. He also stated that he would work with whomever came after Shafik to “make sure that the Jewish community, the Israeli community, and the non-Jewish community that believes that Hamas is bad will be safe.”
Gabi Schiller, one of the speakers at the protest, also condemned Shafik’s testimony, saying that she threw Davidai “under the bus.”
“Now we finally see the tip of the iceberg of this institutional rot of antisemitism thanks to these congressional hearings which Columbia President Shafik showed with absolute clarity that she is a moral failure to this institution,” Schiller said. “President Shafik, we will not allow Shai Davidai to be your sacrificial lamb.”

Protesters hold signs that read #EndJewHatred.
In regard to a recent petition to fire Davidai, which has garnered almost 9,000 signatures as of Thursday night, as well as other complaints posted on social media and sent to Columbia, Davidai said that he is not concerned for himself but rather for the Jewish and Israeli community. He emphasized that the protest was not about him but instead in support of the “Jewish fight” and “the decent American fight against terrorism.”
“Columbia thinks that it can take these complete lies, turn them into investigation, and silence me or fire me and then I go away. Like no, I don’t go away,” Davidai said. “You can fire me, but you can’t silence me.”
Davidai outlined the outcomes he hoped would result from the protest, implying the first to be the resignation of Shafik. He said he wants the Columbia chapters of Students for Justice in Palestine and Jewish Voice for Peace to be expelled and removed from campus. Davidai also stated that “all these indoctrinators,” referring to certain professors and faculty advisors, needed to be “sanctioned.”
Davidai ended his list of demands by saying that every organization that has signed on to Columbia University Apartheid Divest should have 24 hours to denounce CUAD, and if they do not, they should be disbanded and removed from campus.

These two terrorists murdered 4 Jews yesterday and injured more just because they woke up with the intention to kill.
Tumblr media
One of them is 19, the other is 20. They grew up indoctrinated by hatred.
One of them attacked people with an ax, the other one with an automated gun.
Being a target in your own home country each and every day aka being a target for being a Jew in Israel goes against anyone's basic human rights.
They are from a city Jenin that is entirely led and governed by the Palestinian Authority (aka a government that has a pay-to-slay policy in motion: kill a Jew and you get a financial allowance)
This is what hinders peace, nothing else.

Posted @withregram • @tessaveksler What starts with the Jewish people, never ends with the Jewish people. My parents fled the former Soviet Union, where they were discriminated against because of their Jewish identities. They came to the U.S. in search for a society in which they could live freely from antisemitism. A generation later, the same hate has reared its head. But I am not afraid, and I am not going anywhere. #endjewhatred #jewishandproud

This is happening at UCSB. They will not tolerate a Jew unless that Jew twists themselves inside out to conform to the Leftist ideal of what a Jew should be. Hope she has some support there.

This Martin Luther King Day I think about the riotous attack on the Capitol and our Democracy. . . What we all must focus on, especially our elected officials and organizational leaders, is unity and love. We must stand up to hate with unity and love. We must support each other with unity and love. That is how our country can be great. Great for all. . . . . . #martinlutherkingday #martinlutherkingjr #capitolriots #capitolbuilding #2021 #americanhistory #yuvaldavid #PoliticalAction #SocialAction #EqualRights #FightHateWithLove #LoveNotHate #endjewhatred @endjewhatred #civilrights (at White House, Washington DC) https://www.instagram.com/p/CKK_DIrsVWT/?igshid=1626qqum3agxh

A Jewish civil rights nonprofit is launching a chapter in the state of Michigan in response to antisemitic incidents of vandalism at University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in which someone graffitied swastikas and homophobic slurs on two off-campus a fraternity houses earlier this month.
EndJewHatred, which has successfully pushed for the establishment of “End Jew Hatred Day” in cities and localities across America, made the announcement on Tuesday, citing the need for on the ground personnel trained to react quickly to hate crimes targeting the Jewish community and Jewish institutions.
“The launch of #EndJewHatred movement in Michigan comes in response to a dramatic rise in threats of Jew-hatred over the past year, dangerously fermenting in the state,” EndJewHatred director of mobilization Adar Rubin said in a press release. “We seek to empower, strengthen, and unite the Jewish community on a grassroots level to fight back against bigotry while showing up to demand both direct action and consequence.”
On Friday, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor president Santa J. Ono said that the administration is aware of the vandalism of the fraternity houses and has asked the Ann Arbor Police Department (AAPD) to investigate it.
The new EndJewHatred chapter will hold weekly meetings for setting an agenda and training new recruits. Its other activities will include local demonstrations, distribution of flyers raising awareness of antisemitism, and outreach to the local Jewish and non-Jewish community.
Michigan had the 9th most antisemitic incidents in the US in 2022, according to an annual audit issued in March by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). In December, a man from Dearborn was charged with ethnic intimidation after shouting “F*** the Jews” and “F*** Israel” at children attending the pre-school of Temple Beth El synagogue.
The problem has spilled into this year.
In June, a federal grand jury indicted 19-year-old Seann Pietila from Pickford, Michigan for allegedly threatening to commit a mass shooting and live stream it on social media. The charges followed an FBI search of his home on June 14 in which guns, knives, military style camouflage clothing, and a Nazi flag were found in his possession. In his iPhone, investigators found a note — dated March 15, 2024 — with the address of a synagogue in East Lansing, Michigan, a city roughly 270 miles south of Pickford.
In March, another Michigan man, Jack Carpenter, who allegedly threatened to kill Jewish state government officials was charged with transmitting interstate threats after tweeting that he would “carry out the punishment of death to anyone that is jewish [sic] in the Michigan govt [sic].” After the arrest, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel (D) said the FBI confirmed that any act of violence would have targeted her.

March Against Ben & Jerry’s NYC
PROTEST TO END JEW HATRED AT BEN & JERRY'SWITH A MARCH TO BEN & JERRY’S NYC
Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 5:30 PM
(DOWNLOAD POSTERS HERE)
Steps of the New York Public Library, 476 5th Ave, New York, NY 10018.
The event will have private security and NYPD presence
PROTEST FOLLOWED BY A WEEK OF ACTION AGAINST BEN & JERRY’S
ACROSS THE WORLD (SEE BELOW)
COALITION OF ELECTED OFFICIALS, RELIGIOUS LEADERS AND COMMUNITY ADVOCATES JOIN THE #ENDJEWHATRED MOVEMENT, TO PROTEST BEN & JERRY’S “HALF-BAKED” DECISION TO DISCRIMINATE AGAINST JEWS
Assemblymember Daniel Rosenthal, Councilmember Kalman Yeger, and Coalition of Jewish Community Organizations Join the #EndJewHatred Movement to Reject Hate
Advocates To Hand Out Ice Cream and Denounce Corporate Boycotts of Jewish People and Jewish-Owned Businesses in Judea
In the wake of Ben & Jerry’s racist decision to stop selling ice cream in Judea and Samaria, elected officials, religious leaders, and community advocates are holding a protest to #EndJewHatred at Ben & Jerry’s, and to oppose anti-Semitic and illegal commercial boycotts against Jewish people and the Jewish state. The protest comes as officials in at least 5 states - Texas, Florida, New York, New Jersey, and Illinois - express their deep concern and intentions to evaluate whether to divest their public pension funds from Ben & Jerry’s parent company, Unilever. Local NYC institutions, such as Morton Williams and Gristedes have reduced their offerings of Ben & Jerry’s products in New York.
Ben & Jerry’s illegal boycott is the biggest act of corporate antisemitism since Airbnb – which ended up settling multiple lawsuits and reversing its discriminatory policy. Ben & Jerry’s act creates an atmosphere where Jew-hatred is legitimized, and emboldens violence against Jews. Just this past weekend, mobs demanding global violence against Jews took to the streets of Brooklyn. This is a consequence of normalizing Jew-hatred, which is what Ben & Jerry’s is doing.
Activists and community leaders will hand out free ice cream and educational materials about the dangerous movement to boycott Jewish people [the so-called Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement] and call for a “week of action” at Ben & Jerry’s stores and properties around the world. Protestors will then march to Ben & Jerry’s and receive free ice-cream from its competitors who don’t engage in Jew-hatred and discrimination.
Elected officials including Assemblymember Daniel Rosenthal, Councilmember Kalman Yeger, and a coalition of numerous Jewish community organizations join the #EndJewHatred movement in calling for a boycott of Ben & Jerry’s and complete State divestment from its parent company Unilever, unless Unilever reverses its bigoted and discriminatory decision. The #EndJewHatred movement is mobilizing thousands of activists, starting with a major protest on August 12th in New York City to end racism in corporate policies.
"The recent decisions undertaken by Ben & Jerry's and Unilever betray the insidious nature of the BDS movement," said Assembly Member Daniel Rosenthal. "Whether through negligent ignorance or willful action, the BDS movement is normalizing hate and antisemitism across our country. New York stands with the worldwide Jewish community in rejecting this rhetoric and calling on Ben & Jerry's to reverse their position."
Said Club Z Founder and Executive Director Masha Merkulova, and #EndJewHatred co-founder and activist, “When Ben & Jerry’s board decided to stop selling in Judea, Jews around the world immediately understood the long history of antisemitism that went into it. Let’s be clear: we reject the premise that Jews are anything other than the indigenous people who are now living in their ancestral homeland. To call Jews in Judea illegal, is an expression of bigotry and racist Jew-hatred.   To call for a Judenrein state of Palestine, is nothing but modern Nazism.  Unilever’s racist decision will have negative repercussions for both the Jews and Muslims who work side by side, and whose livelihoods depend on the stable employment that Ben & Jerry’s Israel provides. This half-baked decision should be reversed immediately. Club Z proudly stands up to mobilize our youth against hate and the normalization of the Jew-hater movement known as the BDS movement."
Said The Lawfare Project Executive Director Brooke Goldstein, and #EndJewHatred co-founder and activist, “It’s so encouraging to see the Jewish community and our allies unified around a single demand, to end Jew-hatred at Ben & Jerry's, and in corporations generally. There is no place for racism and bigotry, especially by major corporations like Unilever, in the 21st century.  Ben & Jerry’s fateful decision to engage in a commercial boycott of Jewish people and Jewish-owned businesses, is already proving to have major social and legal consequences.  The movement to sever the Jewish connection to the land of Israel is a hateful campaign of modern-day colonialism, cultural genocide and indigenous erasure.”
Said Roz Rothstein, Co-Founder and CEO of StandWithUs, an international education organization that supports Israel and combats antisemitism, "It should be clear by now that Ben & Jerrys board has made a dreadful mistake by blaming only Israel for the lack of peace while ignoring variables like Hamas terrorism, abuse of the Palestinian people by their own despotic leadership, and Palestinian rejection of Israel’s many peace offers. We sincerely hope that Unilever and Ben & Jerry's will go the way of AirBnB and resort to full relations and business with Israel for the sake of Israelis and Palestinians alike."
‍WHAT: Protest to #EndJewHatred at Ben & Jerry’s with a march to Ben & Jerry’s NYC and free ice cream, followed by a week of action against Ben & Jerry’s across the world
WHEN: Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 5:30 PM
