Mr. Jeremy Fisher stitched by fortunecookiecrumble. Pattern from the book Le monde de Beatrix Potter by Véronique Enginger.
“A sweet fishing frog! I made this for my friend who loves frogs. The pattern is Véronique Enginger, from her Beatrix Potter book. I gifted him earlier today, she loved him :)”
I was always convinced that while romantic Buddie was not quite an option they considered during season 2, they were definitely already determined to make their relationship and bond a focal point going forward.
Yeah, I could definitely see that! They were kinda figuring Eddie out as the season progressed, but his choice to talk to Buck about Shannon was deliberate, and their characters were always gonna be closer in age to each other than they are to Hen or Chimney (or Bobby). I always found it curious that it was Bobby and Chimney that each got a small scene on their own with Chris in 2x04 while Buck only interacts with him together with someone else. It makes the "Buck (BFF)" card in 3x01 even more pointed.
I get mad when I see anyone talking about ML/AI on the internet ever because it makes me so incandescently mad that it's being used wrong because there are genuinely really good applications!! And all people want to do is to fucking replace people's jobs but doing it worse or shove it into random shit!!! And it also makes me mad that it maligns all the existing cool and good projects that get painted with the same tainted brush so anything ML ever gets slapped with the "AI bad" label automatically out of reflex because all the bullshit!!! Aughhhhh

Lmao one of Google's witnesses fucked up and leaked the exact percentage of Google's revenue that it shares with Apple in exchange for default search enginge status, a number that has remained redacted up until now
I cannot stress enough that he DID NOT HAVE TO tell the world the Google shares
36
Goddamn
Percent
of its revenue with Apple in order to maintain default search engine status
Since we know that Google paid Apple $26.3 billion in 2021 to be the default search engine on Apple products, that means Google made 73 BILLION DOLL-HAIRS from its default placement agreement with Apple ALONE, which is more than 1/3 of its total search engine ad revenue, which as you can imagine is a huge part of its overall revenue
The same guy also tried to argue that monopolies are somehow good for competition. He didn't even deny that Google has one. Said they should be allowed to expand it, even. You can't make this shit up lmao
My biggest problem as a person is that I get personally offended when someone misunderstands me and corrects me about something they thought I was being wrong about. Like if I say "that road can only be passed on motored vehicles", and someone corrects me by saying "no, it's only passable with cars, trucks, motorcycles and motorbikes." And when I ask them what the fuck did they think I said, they clarify that one can't go trough with on just any motored vehicle, like a snow sled or a motor boat, it has to be a land vehicle that can move on asphalt.
Well yes, sure, one cannot travel on that particular road on a fucking motorboat, but I wasn't saying "literally every possible vehicle that has an enginge", I meant "motored vehicles" in contrast to non-motor land vehicles, such as a bicycle or a horse. And the only reason that anyone would interpret me any other way than that is either because
They feel the need to go out of their way to disagree with me about everything because they despise me and feel like it's paramount to make sure that I know that they do.
They genuinely believe that I wouldn't know that you can't drive on an asphalt road on a motor boat because they think that I am that fucking stupid.
Internships were the best thing that happened to me for my career while in university.
I went to the University of Waterloo (we're the best engineering school in Canada, let's arm wrestle about it) and was fortunate enough to have 6 internships before graduating.
I remember some students were chasing higher and higher compensation levels which always seemed... off to me. To be honest, I didn't feel deserving of some of those salaries and I didn't have the willingness to try to prove otherwise.
But I did focus on finding jobs that I thought would be interesting. And let me tell you... They shaped where I'm at today.
