Every living being is born with Aura, but not everyone can use its potential.
In my Soul(mate)s of Light Pokémon AU, even tho Goh isn't an Aura User of the same level as Ash he managed to develop the capability to communicate (both through talk and telepathy) with Lunala and feel her presence.
The first time this happened was during his childhood in a search for a rare healing herb in Litten's Narrative's "Tropical Re-Encounters" thanks to a Lunala that shared him a telepathic image of its location.
As he grew into adulthood, this capability was enhanced with repeated contact with Nebby's Lunala mate in Alola region, who quickly gained a bond with the man that shared the same type of Pokémon Spirit, to the point of letting herself being captured by Goh for his Pokédex registration. Similarly to Suicune, he lets her roam free both on the Pokéworld and Ultra Space.
This 6-frame comic done in 2024 depicts one of his memories of one time he talked with Lunala during an Ultra Space research on her nest to study more about the Light Duo's biology and nesting spot. This particular memory is from a timeline where Goh was going through a lot of self-doubt and concerns about adopting a child, a request he kept giving no concrete answer to Ash for a long time. Lunala, an experient mother of several Cosmog and Cosmoem that successfully evolved and left their nest, felt his insecurities and offered advice, a determinant one to open Goh's heart to the important step that would decide everything months later upon their original encounter with Destiny.
Goh didn't know that his communication with Lunala was an Aura-related ability until Ash remarked that he never heard Lunala's voice, even when near her.

Favorite flaw of Pathologic?
""""""""Flaw""""""""" is not the right word for this because I absolutely love this and I think it enhances my experience, but the answer nonetheless is how grotesquely ugly the game looks. But, once again, it's one of my favorite things about it because what it might lack in high definition graphics and visual harmony, it certainly certainly makes up for in aesthetics and character and uncanniness (which is good! the Town is meant to be uncanny!).
And, once again, it's not like I find it exactly "ugly" either. The graphics might be a little dated (which I, as an integrated graphics laptop user, also appreciate) but I think the artistic and aesthetic orientation of the game is great! I love the interiors, even for the unnamed NPC houses. I mean look at this stuff:

which, despite being less lavish in their decorations, are still visually captivating and alluring nonetheless.. and inspire such a nostalgic and soothing feeling :-) (I stole these last ones from this post btw)
Also this is an entirely different conversation however in the same vein I do appreciate PCHD's outfits more than their P2 counterparts in most cases. Which I Shan't get into because I'll never stop talking, but I mention it since the anachronistic/mismatched outfits are often mentioned as a flaw of PCHD. But not to me because I #got it.
Also, unpopular opinion but I enjoy the walking as well. The soundtrack is good enough to make it worth it, plus it's just a good opportunity for Pondering and Contemplation. And there's still enough things to do while walking (checking trashcans, bartering with NPCs and making sure you don't get infected/attacked) so that it's not 100% repetitive.
5. How did you pick your first ending?
Okay I need you to Walk With Me Here. Be Me be at my boyfriend's place ~1 year ago. Out of nowhere he's like "I think you would really like this game, haven't played it myself but I think you would like it". We're already bored with nothing to do and a few hours left before I need to #dip so I'm like why don't we just buy it and start playing now? So we do.
We get to the character selection page and have a disagreement over which character we should play first (he wanted to start with Bachelor, I wanted to start with Haruspex <- this is a lie I wanted to start with Changeling but baby girl was locked) so he makes a quick search and obviously everyone says we should start with Bachelor. We play for ~20ish minutes before my boyfriend is like "this game kind of sucks" <- uneducated and uninspired but I love him nonetheless. But I, personally, am heavily enjoying the ride, right? (He knows me so well tbh). So I ask him to buy me my own Steam "copy".
So the next day, I boot the game and obviously pick Haruspex this time scheming emoji sicko voice haha yes. And get my ass thoroughly beat due to the Low Reputation thing. I keep getting trapped in the Warehouses. I keep wandering into the Steppe, thinking I could outrun the NPCs into de-triggering. To no avail. So to my disappointment I go back and start with the Bachelor.
But like, now everyone is saying I'm a vicious murderer and a patricide? Bro I just got here... All this to say I already had some insight on the fact there is some merit to what the other two protagonists are doing and suggesting. So I'm like well since you're meant to play the Changeling last.... she probably knows what's up the best of all <- was right. So even without any real clarity about what her miracle entails I was like well if she says she can do it she can do it. Bachelor's Route Humble Ending Ensues.
And, after playing this thing front to back twice-going-thrice-now it's still my favorite ending for the Bachelor. For one, I never played him as extremely hostile to the Town. Like I'd argue at a certain point it grows on you the Player and by extension him as well (and he has dialogue options to confirm this). Also, a lot of his dialogue (mostly from the Changeling Route) is about how the Town and the Tower are two communicating vessels that feed on each other and that one will not last long without the other. And he can keep the Tower. So it remains my canon ending for him.
