First of all, I'm digging myself a grave since I know not one of my cast will ever let me go in peace after I have the Oscar momentum of my life and pretend to have the sudden change of heart.

That being said - I'm certainly trying to manipulate the characters for the sake of entertainmnet, playing all sorts of mind games with them until I fake my death so I can run away under a new false identity. Surely, as an asshole of a villain, I'd try to persuade one of the charcters to forge a deal with either some sort of a devil (the 'lulz' part) or to (un)willingly donor their body for the sake of science. All in all, I'm still just a con artist and I wouldn't, in fact, know anything about the 'mythical' stuff nor the science things going on around.

Nayanthara joins the sets of Rajinikanth’s ‘Darbar’

Nayanthara had worked together with AR Murugadoss and Rajinikanth in 2005, in ‘Ghajini’ and ‘Chandramukhi’ respectively.

Entertainment News: Last seen playing a dual role in horror thriller Airaa, Nayanthara has been roped in for Superstar Rajinikanth’s next Darbar helmed by AR Murugadoss. She is teaming up for the third time after collaborating with Rajini in Chandramukhi(2005) and also briefly in Kuselan (2008). Both Murugadoss and Nayan worked together in the hit 2005 action film Ghajini.

On Tuesday, Nayanthara started shooting for the film in Mumbai.The makers took to Twitter to share the news. “#Nayanthara joins the sets of thalaivar’s #Darbar today    @ARMurugadoss @santoshsivan @anirudhofficial #IdhuThalaivarinDarbar,” Lyca tweeted. Director Murugadoss also announced on Twitter that he was glad to work with Nayanthara again. “Glad to collaborate with #Nayanthara again”, he tweeted.

The film was launched early this month with a customary pooja following which the principal shooting commenced in Mumbai. Touted to be a cop drama, the film will see Rajinikanth play an IPS officer, a role in which he’ll be seen after a very long time after films like Moondru Mugam and Pandiyan.

Recently, impressed with the performance in Baaghi 2 Murugadoss has roped in Bollywood actor Pratiek Babbar to play the antagonist’s son in the film. On being signed for the project, Prateik told Mumbai Mirror, “It has been my aspiration to share screen space with a legend like Rajinikanth sir. I can’t wait to meet him and observe him on set. I have been appreciated for my characters with grey shades and I am investing my 200 percent in this role because it’s an opportunity of a lifetime.”

[JACKPOT] by ELRIS - Mini Album Review

I’ve been meaning to listen to this album for a long time. I’ve been a die hard fan of ELRIS for a while, but the way HUNUS Entertainment treats the group definitely made me forget the girls even existed for a while. When I was first told that they were going to have a comeback with new members and a complete different concept, my interest peaked.

So here’s my review!

Intro (1:15) : The way this song completely hyped me up for the rest of the album is uncanny. This is an awesome beginning for a new era and concept for this group and I was immediatly excited for what was about to come. The special video they did for this definitely only made my expectations higher for what was about to come.

JACKPOT (3:26) : So, I’ve definitelly seen some people who were disappointed about this comeback. In my honest opinion, I think this a rather good song for a group who has beenm forgotten by their own company. It’s energetic and cute which is quite refreshing after those months without doing anything for the fans. The main critic I have for this is the fact this is obviously a song that follows the wave of ITZY’s type of melody, also known as noise. This is fairly obvious in the chorus and rap parts. A lot of groups have been doing this nowadays to gain the sort of success that ITZY has. While I am definitely not a fan of this wave of music that K-Pop has been going through, I think Elris did quite well with this track. It’s also quite good for BLRIS to see a new side of the girls, especially now that the group has new members and they need their time to shine as well (even though they sang the least  - Sohee and Bella absolutelly dominated that line distribution).

The MV is quite fun and colorful, as most of their work has been in the past, like Summer Dream and Pow Pow. It doesn’t exactly have a plot, but it’s still enjoyable for me.

The choreography, as seen in their “엘리스(ELRIS) - 'JACKPOT' dance practice video” has definitely some key moments, starting quite well, and only getting better. The chorus matches really well with the choreo and the girls look happy and comfortable performing.

The lyrics for this track are really, really weak. I absolutely despise people using the word “flex”, for the exception on the Internet. Everytime I hear someone say it, I cringe really badly. This is basically your “Quirky confident girls getting everyone around them to fall in love with them” and while this is a completely valid concept, I’m quite tired of it. Like I have said before, this is something that a lot of girl groups have been doing, including Momoland, Saturday, Weki Meki, Rocket Punch and so many more.

This is me (3:23) : ELRIS released a special video for this track where fans and others can see the choreography. I truly wish they had picked another song for this as this is one of the worst songs in the album, in my genuine opinion. I can see myself listening to this if I need to distract myself from something as the instrumental is so jarring and annoying to my ears that I can’t help but get immediatly irritated with this. The rap part is the only tolerable one and I do enjoy the breakdance segment. I do wish that their voices didn’t sound that high-pitched with that kind of instrumental behind it, it truly ruins it for me.

The choreo is fun and possibly what fooled me to first liking this song.

Like I do (3:27) : This is the song that should have been promoted like This is me was. This track is so smooth, clean and beautiful, I fell in love with it as soon as I heard it and it’s a shame it’s not being promoted more. It definitely as some oldies vibe and the chorus makes the song perfect. As usual, Sohee absolutely shined brightly, but so did EJ, with the few little seconds she had to sing. Those few lines sounded amazing and I had those on repeat for a while.

No big deal (3:27) : This is another of my favourites. ELRIS never misses with their B-sides, and this one is a gracious and elegant end for such a confusing mini album. This track has the exact same vibes that Focus had and I love that for it. It’s a calm, jazz like, soothing song and, from what I have seen and read, it’s being very well-received by fans and others. This deserved so much more attention and it’s a shame that HUNUS Entertainmnet decided to promote the other songs, instead of this one.
