Give some headcanon on if Kiran from fire emblem heroes would interact with the fallen heroes in the order especially someone like fallen nergal let's say nergal won't left unscathed

Sure! Unfortunately, I have not played Blazing Blade, so I’m not too familiar with Nergal as a character. I recall his appearance in Forging Bonds being fun, but ultimately I don’t know enough about him to comment on the potential on that specific dynamic. I shall leave those headcannons to you, my friend. However, I do think about fallen/antagonistic heroes a lot.

I believe this came up with a lot of 3 houses characters, but it’s commented on how those summoned by Kiran can’t harm anyone else they’ve also summoned. No hero on hero violence. It’s how you get the mildly hilarious dynamic between Chrom, Robin, Lucina, and Grima. They cannot physically harm each other, so it’s time for psychological warfare! Kinda! It’s in the form of a heated philosophy discussion, because Grima is not as good at this as he thinks he is. It’s delightful.

But, let’s think about that critically for a second. Kiran can control who Grima, a god of ruin and despair, can harm. And Grima is, notedly, intelligent— he most definitely tested the extents of this limitation. Especially when Chrom was off waxing poetic on how the strength of human connection can change fate again. He definitely tried, but he can’t kill anyone this bumbling imbecile doesn’t approve of. No one can. It’s part of the contract every hero is immediately put under and none have managed to break it. This safety precaution presumably also extends to themself and their allies.

Meaning, Kiran does not need any type of protection. Kiran is the one in control here.

Hell, they’re in control of people who have NEVER had the tables turned on them like this. And THATS the fun part of fallen/villain units. I personally love the Grima and Kiran dynamic, because this near all powerful being is now chained to and has to protect this normal guy. But that’s hardly the only variant of this. For example, if I’m recalling correctly, there’s a forging bond involving Kronya from FE3H, in which she talks about why she is more than content to fight for the Order. It’s violence without any drawbacks. Sure, the heroes are given shelter, food, money, compensation, and yadda yadda yaaaa. But the real perk? You can’t die here, kid. As long as that tactician is around, you can run wild. And they don’t give a damn about the violence enacted, as long as the job gets done. Askr is a beautiful bloody battlefield on loop, and all the violent sickos get to partake with no risk to themselves. What more could she possibly want?

That is mostly conclusions Kronya personally came to, but I imagine Kiran subtly nudged her into that line of thinking when giving the initial pitch. Took one good look at her and knew not to try to appeal to the moral goodness of her heart when asking her to fight for Askr. Kiran is good at people managing, in that way. Has done enough customer service for that to come pretty naturally. As a result, they are the glue that keeps the Order running on a social level. Which, to be clear, is a testament to their skill. They are genuinely very charming and use that to make would be villains into willing helping hands.

As for the Askr trio’s reactions to this, it varies, but no one can argue with the results. Anna will, on occasion, give them a hubris check. Although she has learned to trust their capabilities, she remains the most skeptical and is the one needing to be convinced when Kiran summons a new feral raccoon with rabies to fight in their army. Mr. Told Death He’d Kill Her In A Week is far more down for this and is rather intrigued on how Kiran managed to convince said raccoon to listen to them. (Parental validation apparently. A lot of these guys have daddy issues.) Sharena, meanwhile, brings up the glaring obvious moral trolley problem??? You guys???? Having these morally dubious heroes as part of the Order is a powerful boon, but it would also make their cruelty a fundamental part of the Order of Heroes. So maybe some critical thought should be put behind that before launching fallen Ike at Freya full speed. The other three then all awkwardly look at each other as they realize that did not occur to them in the slightest. Whoops. This is why Sharena is an indispensable part of the Order. Happy New Year!

Hello, all, and welcome to 2025. (Whenever you get here; I live in one of the first timezones to do so, hence the particular timing of this post).

Another one has ticked over, and from my perspective qua little bitty indie game dev, it was a pretty good one. I spent the first half polishing up Asphodel for publication, and the second getting a start on Blood of the Living.

If you're waiting on the next update, I'm going to try for January, but realistically, I'd imagine it'll be closer to mid-February. There's a unique scene for every RO/PO at the end, and those variations take a bit of time to get through. Nevertheless, I'm humming along at the usual pace and expect it to get there soonish.

I'm also working on something else, which might see the light of day at some point this year, but I'm taking it slowly, and only working on it when I'm done with my work on Blood for the day, so it'll certainly be a bit slower down the pike, so to speak. No public details for now, but I'm pretty excited about it.

On a more personal level, this year was quite challenging in a lot of ways, as I'm sure it was for many of you. To everyone, I wish a very lovely 2025, and my sincere hope is that we'll all be back here in another year: a little older, a little wiser, and with a little less weight on our shoulders.

I read your work published on substack on autism and asexuality (really great stuff!) and then found your Tumblr and came across your own experiences navigating sexuality and kink, and they made me wonder if you have any advice for a fellow asexual on the spectrum who struggles socially but is interested in experimenting with sex/kink for the first time? People usually find sexual partners on dating apps or at the club but that seems so daunting I've been entertaining this fantasy of finding a community of people with a virgin fetish just so I don't have download tinder

Abandon your fantasy that anything fulfilling will occur without a massive amount of work. Running one's own sexual life requires a high caliber of communication, negotiation, and self-promotion skills, as well as a significant amount of time and experience. If this is worth it for you, venture forth! If not, maybe now is not the right time.

I will have a much more in depth guide on cruising written sometime soonish, but in the meantime I do have some tips.

Do not use fucking Tinder. That is an incredibly vanilla, heteronormative site. You might have a negative impression of your chances finding what you want because you've only had a glimpse of the most normie places and your friends' experiences with them. To find the kinky, experimental kind of sex you want, you'll instead have to educate yourself, and go looking for the freaks.

Fetlife is a good place to start. It will be overwhelming to navigate at first, but keep pressing. Fill out your profile with your interests, take a few sexy photos (whatever that means for you), and join local groups. Follow people who post things you find interesting, read lots of posts. Pick up some books on leather and kink history, and study up. Jack Rinella is a favorite of mine, but I am deliberately keeping my recommendation list lean so that you will dig for what you are interested in, yourself.

Look up local groups interested in rubber, leather, kink, etc, find local dungeons, attend local munch events (these are low-pressure social hangouts with no kinky play, but for kinksters to meet eachother), and find out where the gay bars are in your area that have backrooms in them, as well as cruising spots. Check out spaces where people do kinky or sexual stuff together and just watch.

After considerable information gathering and self-searching, put yourself out there and take agency over your own sexual life. Message people you find interesting, and I do mean just interesting. Learn from other bottoms if you're a bottom. Trade stories with other subs if you're a sub. Learn techniques from other Doms if you're a Dom, or some combination of all these things if you're verse or switchy. If someone shares some interests with you and seems compatible, make a specific suggestion for play, like: Want to meet up and practice our rope tying? or Would you like to practice your spanking technique on me? or I don't like having sex, but I'd love to use you as my personal footstool.

Remember that you get to set the terms for the engagement, and the other person does as well. If they reject you, that means consent has successfully happened, everybody gets a pat on the back, good job. The same goes for you. If all you want is to drag a human puppy around on a leash, don't settle for someone who keeps pressuring you for sex. Just end the interaction. There are a whole lot of freaks out there with a whole array of interests, and most people who are kinky eventually learn to be gracious and work with what a prospective partner is into, but we also all have our dealbreakers. That's fine. You don't want to play football with someone who insists on tackle when all you want is touch. It's the same thing. This is just silly pretend games. So find someone who wants to play a game you want to play.

And yeah, you can expect it to take about two years to really find your footing in this world and really know what you want and how to articulate it successfully, at least. That doesn't mean you won't have enjoyable (or at least interesting, informative) experiences along the way. But it is a lot of work. I find it is better to lead off with realistic expectations because many people rush out hoping that someone will just magically appear who will fulfill all their desires, and that's not how the world works. Every person that you speak to in a kinky context is a full human being with their own anxieties, sexual traumas, shame, areas where they lack experience, and desires that might strike them as impossible to realize.

In kink, you have to learn to navigate really complicated interactions with each one of them as its own independent thing. A lot of us make the mistake early on of thinking everyone else out there is a more seasoned, confident, sexually voracious being than we are, and that all we have to do is find the right person to give us a good time. But with our actions and negotiations WE make it a good time, us and our partner of the moment, together.

If you don't put the work in, you get nothing out. But the more you reveal of yourself and stay present in the interaction and honor it as the specific, unique thing that it is, the more benefits you reap -- not just sex or kinky play, but friendships, community ties, self-knowledge, and social skills.

do we know anything about a possible second alt album? Is there one already, do we have release dates / song lists, or at least like… know when we could maybe expect one to be announced (like after x character gets x amount of alt vocals or whatever)?

we literally only just got the first alt album, but i think we could get another one soonish. maybe after 5th anni. the first albums were singles 1-3 and cover album 1, so a second alt album would probably be singles 4-6 and cover album 2. the thing is, we're still getting alts for songs on the second cover albums (tsukasa ego rock + some recent vs alts). i do think they'll stop soon though since almost all of those songs have alts now.

Honestly, I think it's fuckin working? Nothing I expected to happen has happened, but I've found myself in a really interesting and positive position. It's a weird one, but I've got a story to tell, and some stuff to show off at the end.

So out of the blue, about a month ago, my friend and business partner found a random card game posted on a random tiny facebook group that he's not even part of. He doesn't even go on facebook often, really only to check on his family, but as he scrolled to see his parent's recent post he saw it. Who knows what arcane algorithms the ol' Zuck is working with, but it looked neat and found the right audience, so he told me and we tried it out. Really fun strategy/roleplaying card game with a digimon-esk vibe.

From there were joined the discord to ask some questions on rules we didn't really understand, see if there was more content coming out, just hang out and see what's what.

Long story short, we've become fast friends with the solo dev of the game. He's a really cool guy, just making the game he wished existed, and putting 110% of his time and work into it. I have stayed up until sunrise just chatting with him about all kinds of junk, game design included.

So far he's commissioned me once to do a quick 3d model design of the interior of a building, which he's going to use as a perspective guide for illustrations in the game, and wants more when he has the funds. He also wants to commission my SO, Silver, to illustrate cards and other stuff for the game once he has funds, and even license some of the fanart she made for fun, so it'll be in the games rulebook.

I won the first official tournament of the game, which was a blast, and the prize was some art of one of my OCs as a character in his games world, and it came out awesome. So now I have art of a character I've been writing in my novel for years and that's awesome.

The community is really small, but passionate and full of cool people making and doing cool stuff. One of the fans does a weekly "pirate radio" show that covers upcoming events and content, 100% in character as if it were in world. I've been helping him with that where I can, having a lot of experience in audio editing and a huge library of sounds and music to pull from. Today the radio host realized he used to watch my youtube channel like 8 years ago, and that was an awesome small world kinda moment.

So generally, yeah I think it's working. I've made very peculiar connections with some cool people, earned a little money helping a cool project come to life, and found a fun game to play, all from a spur of the moment decision to try a game a friend saw a post that found him totally by chance.

Time to pay it forward! If a digimon meets punk skater RPG/card game sounds cool to you, check out CybrFate. Really fun game, awesome art, cool little community, I'm personally having a blast. Games free on Tabletop Simulator right now. Physical copies exist and are being printed and sold in batches as a presale thing. There's probably going to be a kickstarter soonish, once the guy making the game finishes prepping the massive expansion he wants to launch with it. I've seen him online at 8am working on it, the man does not sleep. And if it grows I'll probably get more commissions from him too, so win win. If it does really well he might hire me and my business partner to make a digital version of the game, or maybe some other game in the world, which would be a lot of fun.

So yeah, that wraps up this update. Some weird stuff seems to be falling into place. If anything, this may be a good example of how weird the path magic takes can be. Like, didn't see any of the past month happening. Hope that all answers your question!
