Here she is, dragsters new form for TT2! She is back and ready to go babyyyy 🏁 🏎️

This is also the reveal of her new name, Della Monroe! now I don’t have to just call her “dragster” anymore lmao

Also this time I also included the car she races with, since TT2 went with a formula one theme I chose to give her a F1 car. The patterns on the car were inspired by the TT2 train.

Short summary of her backstory:

Della was a sponsored top fuel dragster racer for cedar point to promote their newest attraction in 2003, which just so happened to be themed to dragsters. Della was a fiery, charismatic and competitive racer with a passion for her craft, and it showed as she was a very talented racer. However, in 2019 (before the TTD ride incident) she would suffer a near fatal accident during one of her races in the Sandusky speedway. After this, she retired from racing due to her trauma. For years she stayed away from racing, but she would have to confront her fears in 2024 when cedar fair approached her once again to be their sponsored formula 1 racer for Top Thrill 2. She was hesitant at first, but after receiving support from her peers and long time fans, she decided to come out of her shell and race again. Now, she’s back to being her old self again, and takes pride in what she does.

How did you get into F1 fandom?

A friend of mine used to play the F1 game during class. He got obsessed with it, then got me and another mutual friend into watching the races with Miami 2022. Almost a whole year passed and I was just casually interested, not really thinking too much about it except watching it regularly.

But then I got curious and wanted to know if there even are any fics for this. Turns out: There are! A ton! And I fell into a rabbit hole and don't want back out.

I'm a bit sad that I wasn't as into it in the beginning because I missed a whole lot and didn't appreciate everything enough😭 Seb's last season? Seen, not appreciated. Oscar's silly season? Didn't even see it. Nico Hülkenberg commentating for the TV station where I watch the races when he didn't have a seat? Thought he was just a regular guy aaaaaaaa

no no i’m right here with you. we keep the sun lounger summery vibe but add a christmas tree and pink flamginos in santa hats to establish that this is australian winter break and get that palm spring chic. the phone buzzes on a side table and we, the viewer, see that there’s missed calls from “the fia” “netflix” “liberty media” etc. but THEN. it’s a ringtone instead and it’s christian on the phone. skip to when the other daniel gets out of the car he says “we’re back babey” BUT INSTEAD OF CUT TO BLACK daniel gets in the car and we go through a super quick montage of the red bull car going through the streets of key f1 race markets collected from this year + past years (australia, vegas, mexico, zandervoort, monza, silverstone etc) set to some fun music. and then like some tagline like “let’s make it a double/let the race begin/race to abu dhabi” or something idk. gives you wings. fade to black.

omg YES i love it!! the one thing i would add is i think we need to incorporate all his red bull collected trophies in order to REALLY drive home the fact that he's back babyyyy. i don't know if it even exists or would be possible at rbr headquarters, but i'm imagining he's driving down some long hallway lined with trophies? or maybe he's standing in front of a giant trophy case as he says the tagline?

or no wait- maybe as part of the montage where we see him driving through the key markets, intercut clips (or even just voiceovers) of highlights that correspond with said tracks, THEN he's speeding through a dark hallway lined with trophies before fading into black as the tagline comes up
