Who is your favorite driver?: i am an oscarybro first & foremost <3 he's the only driver i truly rep because honestly i don't think i have the bandwidth for more even if i wanted to/tried!!

Do you have other favorite drivers?: i would basically put alex below oscar in his own little tier and then it's just like [WALL]... but i'm also fond of yuki + lando + lewis and respekt maxv :') the rest of the grid i honestly don't think about 99% of the time LOL not in a bad way but because i barely have enough energy for My Guys as is u know

Who is your least favorite driver?: 😔 i feel bad sharing hateurisms on my family friendly blog. 

Do you pull for drivers or do you like teams as well?: def drivers first but i genuinely like mclaren as a racing outfit so that helps!!! when oscar was still in alp i suffered so much because of it being a deeply unserious team and even back then when the cracks were still forming this was fairly evident because i had a rossi agenda, so i was like wegghhhh i guess i can enjoy a williams stint/swallow down alpine content for him. 😔 and then he replaced [answer to question above which at the time hindered my mcl support significantly] and i got the ultimate driver pairing at a team i'm actually quite fond of ❤️🤍🖤

How long have you been into F1?: a little over 2 years!!! how i managed to get into this sport via an inactive reserve driver i don't know.....

What got you into F1?: several friends were getting into it & were reading mxl fic & things of that nature and even though i wasn't really invested in any of the ships presented i ended up biting as well... but fsr i was not compelled by most f1 content / barely watched dts and instead got reeaaally into feeder series, i think perhaps because at the time i was fascinated by prospect projections + mapping / modeling career trajectories + the idea of "ceilings" in hockey and was watching a ton of jr hockey so it kind of translated over and i got to enjoy masterclasses like litr the most broken broadcast streams ever of kimi driving off into the distance in adac f4. But anyway... i also watched chasing the dream and became obsessed with oscar from that and the rest was history 😌🐨🧡

Do you enjoy Fanfic/RPF?: i definitely read it!!! RPF Is Fine etc. i've written 2 effwon fics very poorly and that's it but i peruse the 814 archives regularly..... i forever need to be better at commenting and feel very bad about my own shyness but i think this fandom has such a wealth of incred authors whom i am always in awe of x__x 🧡 tho i will say i'm also a stickler for the 4th wall and it mildly horrifies me that 814 are 75% public..... also fun fact 814 is my favorite oscar ship but it's only my #3 lando ship LOL. j(e|o)ndo you are so special 2 meee

How do you view new fans?: well i'm a relatively new fan so 💗 honestly i barely witness or process most fandom discourse wrt: gatekeeping the sport or dts fans or what have you since i do not frequent those circles of the internet (no public twitter / have never downloaded tiktok in my life) so i don't even know the primary arguments!!

If you could take over as team principal for any team, who would it be and why?: i should never be put in charge of anything. now i'm just trying to think strategically like okay where would i want to live but even then i have no idea... 

Are your friends and family into F1 as well?: my family could not care less but def the former !!! 💗 going to my 2nd gp soon with my beloved chirlie friend who has been with me thru k-pop fandom for like 8 years now hehe

Are you open to talking to other fans/making friends?: yes i'm just very shy & have multiple anxiety disorders Amongst other things so pls forgive my neuroticism 😭😭😭 but i love 2 have discussions.... oscar piastri lore is my passion in fact <3

Contingency Contract is upon us! It's designed to be fully modular, so just pick which risks you feel comfortable with and have a go. Don't get discouraged by how overwhelming it can be at first. It can be quite fun to make the perfect match between the risks you pick and the operators you go with.

babey's first CC clear... It took me a few tries to clear without any risks, albeit with the "no guards or supporters" thing already in mind. Once I finally cleared it, realized I could add on three risks ($$$ guards and supporters, max squad size 10, 1 base health) without changing up my strategy at all.

Later I did a similar run with the class toggle flipped (aka the Gubbles Learn Not to Over-Rely on Manticore Challenge™). This was woefully scuffed. The first attempt was ended prematurely when the battery in my mouse died partway through, and the second had a number of egregious tactical errors. I know how to better pull it off, but I somehow managed to clear it on try 2 so fuck it I'll take it

I was also able to pull off one of the early challenge missions (smth like "ur attack suck" and "edgy slicey boi have more hp" combo). From that I finally learned how powerful the combined slow from Manticore + Suzu really is, it's like. TURBO SLOW. er, um. extra slow. jumbo slow. molasses. paint dry. whatever u get the picture For all of em I had to borrow a friend's Kyato, and ngl I still kinda feel like I cheated? But when presented with the choice of dual-bladed delete cannon or literally not being able to clear the base stage at all... I suppose I'll take the victory supported by friends >w>`

It's okay she's worth it So @lilyblackdrawside, I know you sent this ask much earlier on in the event, and I intended to attempt it earlier, but for a while I just... didn't feel much up for it? Hard content is hard, babey player is babey, and life always finds a way to intervene. Lack of interest, hyperfocus on N64 development, hyperfocus on beating Perfect Dark for the first time, chronic illness, mental illness, going outside for walks on the precious two (2) days it didn't feel like instant heatdeath outside. Y'know, the usual. But given that this is the last CC-- and also the first CC I was even able to participate in-- I gotta say, I wish I got to it sooner. Generally speaking, challenging content usually ain't my thing unless I'm really interested in taking it on. And in the context of arknights, I've been burned out enough by the difficulty curve of the events and complexity of managing a ton of ops to really seek any of it out. But while even the risk 3 CC was difficult... I had fun! Eliminating certain classes got me to better think of how to get the most of what ops I had available. A stronger boss and squishier ops got me to think more critically about how to keep my ops alive through the onslaught, and to discover a pretty powerful combination of slows to crank the most out of what DPS I could manage. I bet I could've managed to squeeze in a risk 4, even, if I hadn't taken it all on in the last two days of the very last CC. Not recognizing an appreciation or enjoyment of something until it's just about gone... kind of an ongoing theme with my life lately, eh? It was my first real CC, but I'm gonna miss it. Oh also the music. The music straight up kicks ass.

Also someone borrowed my Vulcan a bunch fsr?? I know who took out Manticore that one time, but as for Vulcan's eight excursions up to risk fucking ten, I've no clue who brought her along for that ride. I have a genuine question, why didn’t you just message the artist from the beginning? Like I understand where your comment came from but I feel like fandom is supposed to be fun and if you genuinely felt a micro aggression from their art you could’ve educated them. The reason people are hating is because of how you personally handled the situation from doubling down to not taking peoples criticisms seriously. I think if you weren’t interested in talking to the artist why bother posting the art? Maybe make a text post to gripe instead of including the actual art. You’re blog is your own and you have a right to your opinion on your own blog and yes their art was cringe (although v cute style!) BUT it’s better to be cringe than mean. And I say this as a follower of your art and not a hater but some of the twitter replies you left were mean and unnecessary. I think that you got dog piled enough and don’t deserve all this negative attention but I think that people are struggling to see your remorse in the situation because you keep replying and restating your og opinions. Anyways I hope this dies out for both you and the other artist, seeing all this hate can’t be good for y’all’s mental health.

i didn't message the artist from the beginning because my comment wasn't a callout post. there was nothing wrong with the art, it wasn't a microaggression or problematic or whatever. i said a pretty mild thing about their art on my own twitter specifically so the artist WOULDN'T see it because it wasnt constructive criticism, it was literally just me noting that i didn't like something. going to the artist and being like "HEY I DON'T LIKE THIS THING" would have been pretty stupid and pointless, which is why i made a separate post. but fsr this was taken as condemnation of the art/artist or me calling them evil or something?? i dont get why my opinion on it even mattered or why that shit blew up the way it did

and no im not remorseful about what i said, i didnt say anything wrong. my regret is that by posting publicly and having that many people share it, my post got around to the artist as well which i definitely didn't intend. ive since deleted the tweet and spoken to them to apologize and clear up any hard feelings. so yeah lesson learned, if i ever have a thought about anything i should just shut the fuck up or talk about it privately. but for real ....like........... it is Not that serious. i didn't say anything particularly mean or hurtful. there are a ton of ppl who directly messaged and qrt'd the art saying way worse shit than i did so idk why im the one who got dogpiled like that lmao.

How'd you get into overwatch ships? I saw you mention that you haven't played any ovw so it got me curious!

tbh i have no idea LMAO;; I've been drawing pokemon swsh ships for the past 2-ish years, then my sister mentioned something abt overwatch 2 back in December so I decided to look up the ow2 designs, drew junkrat, then abruptly fell head-first into drawing roadrat again fjndngndn;;; and then I guess my brain is just used to multishipping (I ship a ton of the gym leaders w each other in pokemon swsh for no discernable reason), so I ended up imagining a lot of random junkrat n roadhog pairings (??????). Idk I think my brain kinda just wanted a break from drawing pokemon fsr.

I actually used to be interested in Overwatch back in 2016~2017 when it first came out (I was in college at the time), which is when I watched some of the official animatics and read some of the comics (basically only the stuff w Junkrat and Roadhog). I also looked at/read a lot of roadrat art/comics then too so that's kinda when I got interested in Junkrat and Roadhog as characters. Ovw was like HUGE back then, like even if u didn't play most ppl knew the characters... feel like it wasn't particularly uncommon for ppl who didn't play to draw fan art/etc.

I think I gravitated toward Junkrat and Roadhog bc they reminded me of my OCs Lafayette and Dmitri (short character who gets into trouble + tall character who keeps them in line kinda thing). I think the way I draw them has changed since 2016, but yeah.... I think that was the true initial reason for why I started drawing them.

Anyway overall............ who knows. Idk what motivates my brain to draw, all this stuff kinda comes out of nowhere LMAO;;
