Slow Motion
Arthur Curry × Reader
Summary: You and Arthur have been friends a long time. You pratically grew up together. You have a ballet recitle and what you didn't expect was a snow storm. Now you're both stuck in a hotel with only one bed.
Warning: smut, cuddling
Tumblr media
❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣
"Shut up." You growl rubbing your hands together as the fire crackles. "We are up here because of you."
"Oh come on, Y/n." Said Arthur "A few more miles and we would have made it. You decided to stop."
"Because I thought I started my period!" You shout throwing the pillow at him off the bed. "I was not about to walk around with bloody underwear!"
He lets out a sigh, rolling his eyes as you fold your arms and squint at him coldly. "Look, we'll wait out the storm. The lady at the front desk said it should be over by the morning."
"It better be." You grumble taking off your jacket. "I better get to my ballet recitle on time. The show can't go on without me."
Arthur mocked your whining voice and you flipped him off, snatching your bags from his hand. "Make yourself comfortable. You're sleeping on the floor." You grin
"You are so petty." He mumbles as you lay on the bed with your arm covering your eyes. You were tired and had a bit of a headache, not to mention a few period cramps in your abdomen.
Maybe sleeping it off would make you feel better. You took a few Ibuprofen pills in the car but, Arthur wouldn't let you take anymore so you wouldn't overdose. A little moan of pain left your lips and you just closed your eyes.
▪¤▪¤▪¤▪¤▪¤▪¤▪¤▪¤▪¤▪¤▪¤▪¤
Waking up, you see Arthur wasn't on the ground. Not even his jacket was there. Looking around, it was just you and only you.
"Arthur?" You question, just to make sure he was really gone. With a sigh, you stand and see that you are feeling a lot better. Your cramps had gone and so did your headache.
Just as you picked up your phone to call him, the hotel door opens and Arthur stands there with a bag, covered in snow.
"Arthur? What the-"
"Y/n, you're awake." He says closing the door as the cold breeze hit your face. "I went to the little store on the corner. Luckily it was open. I picked up a few things."
"Oh." You nod then giggle. "I was just about to call you. I was a bit worried."
"Aw, you were worried about me." His hand over his heart, as he slid off his big jacket. " It wouldn't have worked anyway, no cell service. Anyways, I got you something. To take your mind off the pain."
He hands you a Hershey bar, milk chocolate, cookies and cream, dark chocolate and one with almonds. You poke out your lips and wipe the little tear that fell. "Awe. For me?"
"Anything." He tells you with a wink. "Got some Ramen and Soda. We can eat after I shower." Said Arthur heading for the bathroom.
Nodding your head you watch him take his bag and you sit back on the bed opening up one of the Hershey bars. There wasn't a TV so all you had was your phone. The connection was horrible and you wanted to scream.
With Arthur's shower water running in the background you ended up listening to one of your favorite songs.
"Slow motion." You sing to yourself starting to dance around the small, hotel room. This was the second time you played it and now it was on loop. Trey Songz had always been your favorite singer, and today you were really feeling his music.
What you didn't know was that Arthur finished his shower five minutes ago and stood with the door cracked watching you. You weren't a good singer and you both knew that but Arthur still enjoyed it.
"You dance better than you sing." Is what he would say when you asked him. Arthur was a good friend but the song was effecting him just as much as it was you.
Arthur pages close attention to your hips as they swayed back and forth and your ass in the tight ripped jeans you decided to wear.
You were definitely horny and when you spun around and saw Arthur, you didn't freak out but gave him a seductive smile. He was your best friend, why not? You thought, telling him to come here with your finger.
Arthur had a hungry look in his eyes and you knew it because you felt it in your eyes. With only a towel around his waist, you saw his cock poke out from the towl and that made your mouth salivate as you grabbed onto his hand, spinning yourself into his arms.
Arthur grabbed onto your hips and you smiled as you grind against him to the music. His mouth against your neck, moaning and you bit your lip at how his hard member poked your ass. His hair still wet, dripped on your shoulder. Holding onto his big arms as his facial hair tickled you, you grind harder once he pushes your hips into his lap.
It was dry, but you wanted him to touch you all over. Lifting Arthur's arms to your stomach he looks up at you as you look back nodding. "Go ahead daddy." You purr kissing his furry jaw then nibbling at his earlobe. "Show your baby girl a good time."
Arthur's hands went up your shirt and you lifted your arms so he could get it off. His large hands grouped your breasts smoothly and he traces his index finger across your nipple making you moan in satisfaction.
"Mmm." You moan again when Arthur lays kisses on your shoulder, making a parade of goosebumps go down your spine.
He let out a grunt as you turn and unwrap the towel from around his waist. Pushing his body into the edge of the bed, you get on your knees and begin to stroke his member and you can see the frustration in his eyes because of how slow you're going. Arthur wanted to be released and you loved the begging look in his eyes.
"You're gonna cum for me, Daddy?" You asks continuing to play with his member, your finger nails touching the dry rip. "Are you gonna cum for your babygirl?"
"I'm gonna cum for my baby girl." He grunts huskily with a smile on his face.
Taking it into your mouth, Arthur has a grip on your hair guiding you up and down his hard cock. His cock filled your mouth and you held onto his naked thighs so you wouldn't tip over. You gagged a bit when his warm member sqirted into your mouth and you smiled at how he moaned again, throwing his head back when a little more came out.
Pulling your lips away, he watches you swallow and you take in some air. Without hesitation, Arthur has you on the bed, trailing smooth kisses down your stomach. He was being sweet and gentle, but you didn't want that. Not now.
"Is that all you got, daddy?" You ask taunting him with an arched brow. "Aren't you gonna rough me up."
And you weren't prepared for what happened next. Arthur grabbed you by your throat, slamming his mouth on you. You gasp, but relax trying not to use up all the air he was allowing you to have. His tounge slipped into your mouth and when you tried to grip onto his still damp hair he shoved you away, pinning your arms above your head.
He was taking your breath away. Literally. With ever motion of your lips moving Arthur was taking all the air you had. You couldn't lift him off you because he was bigger.
When Arthur finally let you up, you took a hold onto the air. Sucking it all in you start to laugh. "Never had a kiss like that." You say as he unzips your pants.
"No talking." He tells you and you smirk, licking your lips to get another taste of him. With your panties off he plays with your clit, still holding your arms up. "I'm gonna make you sorry, y/n. So so sorry." Said Arthur lowly giving you another parade of chills across your body. "I'm gonna make you sorry for underestimating me." His whisper being drowned out by the sound of your gasping.
"Please daddy," you beg biting your lip again wanting him to give you some friction. "I'll-"
"No talking." He says more menacingly and you feel two of his fingers enter you without warning. Arching your back you let out a moan, squeezing your eyes shut trying to move your hips against his fingers.
"That feel good baby girl?" He asks you with a sarcastic smile.
"Ahhhh." You answer "Oh...Arthur-"
Arthur chuckles and then slows down. Your breaths getting closer together you shake your head. "No daddy. Please...please don't stop." You beg. "I was close, I was so close, daddy. I wanna feel you." You tell him, trying to sit up, but his heavy hands keeping you down. "I wanna fell all of you." Your core still a bit We r from pre-cum dripping down your pussy.
"Aw Baby girl," he cooes kissing your stomach pulling his fingers out amd letting your hands go free. You biting your lip still trying to buck your hips towards his member, Arthur leans in your ear, "I'm gonna fuck you so good." His kisses your breasts which sends shivers down your body.
You smiled and held onto his shoulders as Arthur widened your legs with his knees. His damp hair wetting your body, you wait for his cock to slam into your pussy. Once again arching your back your mouth forms an 'o' shape you see his face scrunch up.
The bed guys against the wall you he continues to slam into you. "Faster." You grunt. "Faster daddy. Fill me up."
Your fingernails dig into his back, clawing down as you let out breaths of air. "I'm close." He tells you but you ignore, trying to focus on your own orgasm. "Oh gosh, y/n!"
With one last thrust, he collapsed on your stoamche just as you both orgasm at the same time. Pleasure ripped through your insides as you both finished.
Licking your lips you both try and catch your breath. "Next time," you say in between breaths, feeling his sweat on you as you continue to stroke his hair. "I'm ontop."
"What makes you think there's gonna be a next time?" He asks with his chin up looking at you with a smirk.
You replied, "Nobody can fuck me like you just did."
His chuckles fill the room and you blush holding onto his head. Both laying in the bed, bodies stuck together as you pull the blanket on top of each other. The crackling fire would die in the night and having Arthur's body close to you was all you needed.
"That was definitely not in Slow motion." You say after turning off the song, hoping he heard it, but his soft snores fill the room as he holds onto your waist.
The END
Hope you enjoyed! Let me know in the comments.

160. Sonic the Hedgehog #92
Tumblr media
I have something important to cover before we dive in. You see the bit on the cover that says this issue contains a pre-adaption of Sonic Shuffle? Yeah, we're ignoring that entirely. Unlike the Sonic Adventure adaption, in which the writers took the storyline of the game as a whole and adapted the entire thing to fit within the universe of the comics, this issue only covers the beginning of the game, which is itself non-canon to the rest of the series. This is actually a precursor to a recurring segment in the later comics called "In another time, in another place," which are all mini-adaptions of the beginnings of the various 3D Sonic games that, as the subtitle suggests, don't take place in the same universe as the main comics. As expected, we won't be covering those either, since I'm purely focusing on canon stories in these analyses. Almost every 3D Sonic game got one of these over the years, from main-series games like Unleashed/World Adventure and Generations, to side games such as Riders and Rush. The big exception is Sonic Adventure 2, which is a bit of a special case, but we'll cover that once we actually get to it.
Anyway, if you're really curious, here's a bare-bones synopsis of the Shuffle pre-adaption - Sonic dreams about a train, a fairy being called Lumina talk to him and tells him that her world called Maginaryworld is in danger, and he and Tails, Knuckles, and Amy get teleported there to fight the villain Void. Pretty similar to the plot of the actual game, which like the criminally-underrated Sonic Battle, not many people seem to actually know about even though it has quite an interesting storyline if you ask me. But enough of this rambling - after a quick break from the (actually interesting) action last issue, it's time to find out what was in those crash-landed spaceships!
The Wrath of Khan
Writer: Karl Bollers Pencils: Michael Higgins Colors: Frank Gagliardo
It's time to address the plight of our poor friend Ken Khan. We already know the guy has a temper, and it would be absurd to think that after the destruction of his village several issues ago, that he would be willing to just let it all go. Well, it turns out that he's spent the past fifteen days walking on foot from his home in Not-Asia all the way to Robotropolis. I sense vengeance in the air…
Within Robotropolis, Eggman dances around bizarrely, still angry that the sword was stolen from him but happy to continue to use Sonic's ignorance of that fact to his advantage. Sonic, meanwhile, finds himself on an outcropping of rock overlooking the two spacecraft that just landed next to the city, and is astonished to find a crowd of Overlanders exiting them.
Tumblr media
The frightened girl runs to her grandma, who is also clearly scared of the "wild animal" approaching them. Suddenly, several combots approach the party, and Sonic quickly leaps to the defense of the Overlanders, bringing the older woman back to the group after smashing the bots. Meanwhile, in Knothole, Geoffrey is stomping around trying to figure out who stole the Sword of Acorns, and when Rotor innocently mentions that he heard Sonic talking about the sword not too long ago, Mina coughs loudly, instantly bringing herself under the scrutiny of the Secret Service commander who doesn't buy her attempts to cover up for Sonic. Back in Robotropolis, Eggman is viewing the scene outside his city through his monitors, showing a surprising amount of affection for his own species considering that original Robotnik didn't seem to give a crap who he was screwing over as long as some screwing was taking place. Uh, don't take that phrase the wrong way.
Tumblr media
Oh boy, remember Colin the racist asshole? He's ba-ack! Who knows yet why he and a bunch of other Overlanders were up in space, but it probably had something to do with the end of the Great War, I'd imagine. Outside, Sonic tries to explain to the frightened Overlanders that he's trying to protect them, but as Colin angrily voices his racist, racist doubt, Eggman beams in a hologram of his face, reassuring him that Sonic is in fact lying and the robots were there to protect them from the furry menace of the native Mobians. Sonic tries to argue, but Ken, finally arriving at his destination, chooses that exact moment to throw his staff like a spear through Eggman's holographic head, which of course Eggman only seizes on as "proof" that the anthropomorphized animal denizens of the planet are trying to kill them all. As he ushers his kinsmen into his city, an unnecessarily hostile interrogation begins to take place in a building within Knothole.
Tumblr media
Oo-hoo, lookie what we have here! Yes, that's right, with Geoffrey having left his inappropriate crush on Sally behind some time ago, the writers are once again looking for someone to set him up with. Hershey is part of his squad, of an appropriate age for him, and their colors even match! It's like a match made in Mobian heaven!
Back outside Robotropolis, Sonic tries to get Ken to calm down as he continues to rage about his village being razed to the ground, telling him that he's not accomplishing anything and all he's doing is scaring the Overlanders. Eggman sends in some shadow-bots to escort the group into his city while Sonic and Ken begin to fight each other, arguing fiercely over the right course of action. We then get a weirdly out of place page where Tails just basically says hi to Rotor now that he's back, which really just seems like a filler page where they had nothing else to put. And then, we hop back over to Princess Sally, catching up with her mother in a field in the village.
Tumblr media
You'd be forgiven for not noticing if you haven't paid a ton of attention to the art of the comic, but we've got a tracer on our hands! If you look, the first four panels of this page are nearly identical in layout and style to the ones from StH#89 when Sally and Elias were talking on the dock, just with Queen Alicia drawn in place of Elias. Michael Higgins is a first-time penciller for the comic here, and his art for the rest of the issue is of noticeably low quality, with a lot of off-model proportions and awkward facial expressions, so I guess he thought it would be easier to just trace Fry's work and pass it off as his own. But we noticed, Michael. We noticed.
Anyway, as Sonic and Ken continue to duke it out, Eggman's robots guide the Overlanders into his city. Sonic tries to stop them, but…
Tumblr media
And in case a pop-culturally-relevant reference to Pokémon wasn't enough for ya, the issue ends with Karl apparently having realized that Ken's last name presents the perfect opportunity for a perhaps-less-relevant-to-the-interests-of-kids-in-the-early-2000s reference to Star Trek:
Tumblr media
Complete with a hilariously off-model Sonic to boot. Go Michael!

Have you ever said ‘goodbye’ to someone you really, really didn’t want to?: Yes. A few times. ^ reasoning, please?: Death happens. <<<< What emotion are you most likely to hide?: I downplay how I feel a lot. I’m not as expressive in person like I am on here when it comes to the hard stuff. Name everything on your bedroom floor. Trash can, two hampers (one has clean clothes because they don’t all fit in my dresser), and an ottoman. Explain why you last ‘had to lie’.: I’m not sure when I last did so. All that comes to mind is how like I said I downplay a lot and not say how I’m really feeling if that counts.
Feeling guilty about anything?: No. Is Mark Wahlberg still hot?: I never thought he was. Have you ever been through a phase of thinking emo guys were hot?: Yeah. Y'know, when, you were like, 11, or so… Actually, my emo phase was when I was 15 and 16. I didn’t know about it when I was 11. How old does someone have to be to be officially an 'adult’ to you?: Of course legally it’s 18 in the US, but it’s just a title in my opinion that allows you to do certain things. There’s a lot more to being an adult than just age. Hell, I’m 29 and sometimes don’t feel like an adult. How is it possible that some people don’t believe the Holocaust happened??: I really don’t know. Any YouTube videos you’ve seen over 20 times?: Yep. Anything you find gross that no one else does?: I don’t about “no one”, but I’m sure there’s things I think that are gross that other people don’t and vice versa. ^ what about attractive?: Everyone has different preferences. Have you ever dated someone that could play an instrument?: Yes. Does vanilla ice-cream with hot fudge, strawberres, and,Hershey’s Cream & Cookies sound good??: Wait, Hershey’s Cream and Cookies... do you mean the cookies and cream candy bar or is there something else I’m not aware of? Anyway, I’d rather have vanilla ice cream with strawberry syrup. Facial piercing or death. You choose?: Uh, what. Would you get along with someone who reminded you of yourself?: I’d like to have friends with common interests, yes. What makes you nervous?: Everything. What’s so horrible about wearing leggings like pants??: I do it. Weirdest picture you’ve ever taken of yourself?: I don’t know. Have you ever walked into an inanimate object/structure?: Yep. Any bridges near where you live?: Yes. Where do you go just to be alone, and text, and whatnot?: My room. Would you like to see the Eiffel Tower?: Yes. ^ did I spell that wrong?: No. Do you have a Gameboy?: Not anymore. Any hemp jewelry?: Nope. Disposable camera that needs to get developed?: Nope. What do you do when you feel alone?: Get sad about it, but carry on, really. Have you ever travelled by train?: No. Ever just look at the clouds and try to make out shapes?: When I was a kid. Oddest shape you’ve ever come across?: *shrug* Do you have a dirty mind?: Eh, not really. Ever had to have someone help you walk before?: No. Why is that?: Because I’m a paraplegic. Who is someone that you find absolutely beautiful, inside & out?: My mom. Did you ever seriously think that a monster was hiding under your bed?: No. Anyone that you really, really need to talk to?: No. Ever dated someone just to make an ex jealous?: No. Favorite friend’s car?: Who are these so called friends that you speak of? When someone claims to be suicidal, do you take them seriously?: Yes. Do you get good service where you live?: Yeah, usually. Ever been kicked out of anywhere?: Nope. Ever had Skittles vodka?: No. Ever punched someone in the face?: No. What provoked you?: If you haven’t, do you want to now?: No thanks. Do you truly HATE anyone?: No. Do Asian guys all look the same?: Wow, no. Do you have a backyard?: Yes. Have you been, or would you ever go to a nude beach?: Nooo. You want the top, or bottom bunk?: The bottom. Most historical/famous landmark/building you’ve been to in your country?: Hmm. What is it that everyone has against AMERICANS?: I don’t know. How long does it take you to apply your makeup?: About 30 minutes or so. Esprit or Urban Outfitters?: Neither. FredFlare or ModCloth?: Never heard of them. Favorite flavor for a doughnut?: Glazed and maple. Favorite flavor for most things?: I can’t pick a favorite flavor for most things, like it varies? Do you care what people you don’t know think about you?: Kind of. I used to care a lot more. Who couldn’t you imagine your life without?: My loved ones. What’s pinned up on your fridge, currently?: Magnets. Anything good in there?: Yeah. Do you slutdance?: What? Have you ever been anyone’s 'everything’?: No. Didn’t it freak you out??: I wouldn’t know. Name someone who has changed your life, in a positive way, and how:: Ty did because he helped start my relationship with God. ^ and… negatively?: No one really has, it’s more things that have happened to me that have negatively affected my life.
Tell me about a memory that never fails to make you laugh. (: Hmm. What is the most awkward impression you feel you’ve ever given? o.O: I am the definition of awkward. <<<< Me too. Ever taken pictures in a photobooth? Who with? :): Yeah, with my cousin. Is it ever a good idea to invest too much emotion into one thing/person?: I’m great at that. :/

Why Women Love  Going To The Spa
It is puzzling that men often criticize women over being too vain when they like beholding our beauty and have this habit of either praising or disapproving our style. Of course, we will naturally be conscious at  how we present ourselves knowing that your watchful eyes are always giving away your unfair judgments.
So, the popular adage “Men are from Mars, and Women are from Venus” is true after all.  While there are already metro-sexual men at these modern times, they are still small in number compared to women who make an effort to preserve their beauty and deliberately seek ways to  maintain their lovely looks. It is no surprise then that spas sprouted like mushrooms all over the city, and women often flock in groups to visit them. Here are more reasons why women love going to the spa:
Tumblr media
It’s the closest thing we have to finding a fountain of youth
No one can stop beauty from fading, although there are gifted people who have great genes (yes, most of us turn green in envy with people like Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd who seem to age backwards). However, taking care of ourselves by going regularly to the spa buys us more time to delay the aging process. Ms. Bianca Solliven for instance who has a spa membership package since she turned 45, makes sure she never miss an appointment in her favourite spa center in Singapore, “ Let’s face it, I am not getting any younger. I started developing wrinkles and eye bags when I turned 30 and I thought that beauty products can spare me from the worsening condition. But my dermatologist advised me to start really taking necessary measures and do something about it. So, now I do diamond peels at least twice month. I am scheduled for a chemical peel next month because some of my teenage acne marks are starting to show. And I might need to have some warts removed under my eyes. Yes, I spend quite a hefty amount to maintain my looks, and I take no shame for that. I work hard, and I spend my own money after all.”
It is our treat to ourselves
It is not only facial treatment, wart removals, and chemical peels that one can do on spa centers in singapore. Spa clinics also often offer different massage services (Shiatsu, Swedish, name it), manicure-pedicure, foot spa, among others. Liesel Lee shared how going to a spa has become a form of a treat to herself after a tiring week at work, “Some people like going away for the weekend to travel in the countryside. My thing on the other hand is going to the spa and having my nails done, paying for an hour of Swedish massage, availing a facial cleaning service when I am starting to look horrible from stress. Sometimes,  I also treat myself to a hair spa as the spa center that I frequent offers that too. It is practically a one-stop shop for me, and I feel rejuvenated and beautiful after every session.”
 It Boost one’s Mood
If there is one thing that men are right about women, it is that we really have frequent mood-swings. “So we stopped blaming biology for all of that and go shopping and visit a facial spa instead,” cheerfully remarked Hershey Chui who admits that most of her salary is spent on beautifying herself. “Women are free to make their choices. If you are single, and you feel the need to lift your spirit up once in a while, treating yourself to a spa can do the trick. Stop pouting your lips, and try not to frown much (it makes you ugly and wrinkly), and clear your head from negative thoughts. Your problem will never be resolved when you look ugly… I have this theory that spas give you happy hormones,” Hershey delightfully added.
It’s an anti-PMS activity
Yes, you read that right. When it’s that time of the month, women have different ways of coping with the pain. Some spend their time trying to heal the pain in bed, while some of us make a fun spa weekend out of it.“A small study of a group of women with severe PMS found that massage reduced a variety of symptoms such as pain, water retention, and mood swings.  Now there’s some ammunition that might  seriously convince your husband or partner of the necessity of your spa visit – maybe you can even get them to pay for it!  Imagine how much happier a place this world would be, if all women were treated to a spa visit a minimum of once a month? Now, I know I’ve been talking mostly about the benefits of massage, but just think about it – a pedicure usually comes with an brief massage, as does a facial, and even some manicures come with mini hand and arm massages.  In fact, when they’re doing the massage part of your pedicure, you could say: “you know, I’m feeling like I might be coming down with something, and need to boost my natural killer cells – could you do that a little bit longer?”  Who would say no?,” wrote Dr. Susan Biali, M.D.

More Halloween Enthusiasm from Teachers?
Tumblr media
Four McDonogh Lower School teachers pose in their costumes. Photo taken by Dave Radford.
By, Izzy Marsh and JP Ward
Halloween marks the middle of McDonogh spirit week and appears to bring about the most participation and enthusiasm across students and teachers alike.
While there are many students who dress up on Halloween, there are many teachers who do so as well. Some teachers have more excitement about the holiday than some of the students.
Freshman Dean, Mr. Alex Gardner, said there is a “unwritten encouragement” among faculty that they should be decked out for the big day
I always talk to the new teachers myself, and I try to say to them ‘hey, this is what we do.’ This to me is like the peak holiday of the year,” said Gardner, who took things to a new level this year with his costume of a sad clown, which he played throughout the day.
Teacher costumes cover a wide variety.
Andy Hilgartner, the senior dean, dressed up as a McDonogh alumni and actually took up an impressive impersonation as well. He wore a complete mask to change his facial structure and make him look aged, wore an outdated suit, used a walker, and talked in a low, grumpy voice. Bridget Collins, the director of character and service, dressed up as Ralphie from a Christmas Story. She wore a pink bunny suit with large, black glasses.
Alex Gardner said that, “I have 3 or 4 or 5 costumes that I cycle through. I think for me, the acting part of [costumes], the persona I take on is as much fun as the costume itself. So this one, the sad clown where I get to wander around all day and not talk and just be sad, is super fun for me. The one I did last year, the zombie, I got to also walk around all day, not talking, grunting, and trying to scare people.”
Libet Ottinger, the junior class dean, who is dressed as a hershey kiss this year, said, “I like that, over the years,  the dean team (all of the high school deans) have dressed up together; one year we were the Addams Family.”.
With continued enthusiasm from students and teachers, the tradition and spirit of dressing up will indeed carry on at McDonogh school.

Must-Do Beauty Treatments That Are Money Worthy
To maintain a stable regular skincare regime, you must periodically spend some time improvising. Despite having life-changing impacts, permanent skincare procedures can save a lot of money and time. Instead, a woman can think of visiting a reputable salon every month to keep up with her beauty inside out. Here are the regular services that a woman can opt for from a parlor.
Facial
Facials are tailored therapies for the face, particularly chin, cheeks, nose, eyes, lips, and other, neck, & décolleté that can aid in preventing and treating common disorders. The attraction of having smooth, radiant skin is only half of it; facials may also: Increase collagen production. Get rid of dead skins through facials. As a matter of fact, they are incredibly beneficial to your skin because they increase its health. And deep washing & exfoliation will promote cell turnover, thereby contributing to smoother and more even skin. This skin will be less prone to breakouts, displaying lesser signs of aging.
Threading
Threading can remove different unwanted hairs in a fell swoop rather than one at a single time. That, in a way, allows all hair to grow back. No hair will escape, but it goes without saying that consistency in threading can improve the hair texture to last for more days than expected. In threading, the thread gets looped & twisted so that a particular section amid the loop gets twined together. That will leave two “handles” for beauticians to hold. After this, the twisted bit of the thread gets used for pulling hairs out. As every “handle” gets adjusted, a twisted thread moves either one way or another.
The process of threading will hardly take between 5 and 15 minutes. You can choose forehead threading Hershey to clean your forehead area upper lips and make your eyebrows more prominent. They last around two to four weeks. And it depends on the growth cycle of your natural hair. Taking any supplements may increase hair growth.
Waxing
Waxing acts as an exfoliator, removing pesky hair while improving skin smoothness. While it may initially seem painful, it becomes less painful and time-saving with a continuous treatment regimen. Unlike shaving, waxing services in Hershey allow thick hair to grow more finely. So, you don’t have to commit yourself to laser treatments.
These are the three must-do beauty treatments that any woman can consider each month. Besides, trimming your hair after a time span of 2.5 to 3 months can also be effective. You can add it to your beauty regimen program too! The only criterion is to select a professional salon! And there you have it!

4 Key Retail Tech Takeaways From NRF 2018
Last week, I attended NRF 2018 in New York, where I had the opportunity to see cutting-edge retail technologies, talk with people throughout retail about how our industry is changing, and show Intel’s efforts to redefine retail. Retail’s Big Show was certainly big this year, and Intel had a large presence.
Our booth featured eight product demonstrations, including many related to AI and computer vision. The retail technology ecosystem we’ve helped create was on display, with over 30 of our partners showcasing retail solutions enabled by Intel technologies. And Intel’s vision for what’s possible for retail through technological innovation was also represented by the vice president and general manager of our Retail Solutions Division, Joe Jensen, on a panel discussion called Robotics and AI: Trailblazing technology for future retail.
It was a busy few days, and it was exciting to see the technology trends that emerged. What stood out to me at NRF 2018? Some impressive new technologies that are improving retail for both retailers and consumers.
AI Expands Retail Possibilities
Artificial intelligence has been playing an increasingly large role in retail, and that role was certainly on display at this year’s event. Technology innovators are coming up with new ways to enhance analytics using AI, often enabling actions in real time.
At Intel’s booth, we had several AI retail solutions on display. For example, boutique candy purveyor Lolli & Pops showcased how they can improve the shopping experience for loyalty members using computer vision technology. Their shoppers are automatically recognized when they enter a store, and then AI-enhanced analytics access member preferences so associates can make personalized recommendations.
AI and computer vision cameras are being used for many purposes. For example, SpotCrowd technology relies on facial recognition enabled by AI to identify shoplifters and prevent theft. This solution was selected by Getting to Global as one of the most disruptive, innovative startups at the event.
Robots Do the Stocking
Bossanova's roving robots make continuous shelf monitoring possible.
Robots have arrived in retail, and it turns out they’re pretty useful. Take Bossanova’s shelf-scanning robots, which were showcased at the event. These robots circulate throughout stores and scan shelves continuously using Intel-powered computer vision technology integrated with RFID. Retailers can benefit significantly from tech like this because it frees up store associates to focus on customer service. It also makes it possible to gather inventory data all the time, not just when employees have time for it.
This type of automation is growing in retail, and I expect we’ll see more of it—and more retailers investing in it—in the years to come.
Supply Chain Optimization Improves With Data
NRF 2018 demonstrated the significant strides technology has helped retailers make to improve their supply chains. Inventory tracking and management can happen continuously now, which makes it possible for businesses to make smarter, faster decisions to prevent stockouts and other problems that lead to dissatisfied customers.
For example, G-Star uses Intel Responsive Retail Sensors and real-time POS transaction data to provide a better picture of inventory and of what’s actually selling. This data enables insight-based decision-making about what each store should have on hand.
The Hershey Company uses AWM Smart Shelf, another shelf management technology on display at the show, to gather data about shrinking inventory and shopper statistics. This information helps retailers ensure customers find what they want on shelves.
Personalization Boosts Retail Sales
Personalization certainly isn’t a new concept in retail. Numerous technologies on display at NRF 2018 showed how retailers can customize the shopping experience.
MemoMi's Memory Makeover lets customers take their makeover with them.
Attendees saw MemoMi’s Memory Makeover, which is used by Neiman Marcus. This tech lets customers recreate personalized in-store makeovers by recording them and sending them to their phones. That way customers can remember what products were used and how they were used, and retailers like Neiman Marcus can get a better sense of what their customers want.
Many booths at the event showcased personalization, including tech that personalizes signs, music, and product recommendations. Customizing the shopping experience as much as possible benefits all retailers, and it was exciting to see the innovative ways retailers and tech companies are making this happen.
Retailers Aren’t Shying Away From Technology
Adopting new technology can be daunting, but at NRF 2018 there were plenty of examples demonstrating that companies aren’t afraid of trying new things. Because customer demands are always changing, retailers know they need to find effective ways to keep up. That’s why we’re investing in many facets of retail technology to help redefine the industry as one that’s modern, tech-savvy, and in tune with consumer and market trends.
