Facades of Farallon: Catdad's
Artisanal, organic, free-trade felines. Also a maid cafe, for some reason. Catdad owns the cafe, but other than chat with customers, it's not clear what he does.
The food is surprisingly good, if a bit simple. Manner does all the cooking. As long as the dishes are all cat-themed, Catdad doesn't seem to care about the menu anyway.

Grateful for the Sea and a big announcement!
The enormous and deeply unknown blue awakens me; it is all powerful, yet vulnerable like us all, to toxicity. I have been in recovery mode and all the while learning and creating, trying to figure things out, and then I remember to take a deep breath, let that go, and embrace the now.
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!
I’m overwhelmed by the curators decision to include my piece, “It is Change,” in the de Young…

Facades of Farralon: Woomy's (無名)
Farallon's take on chicken and waffles. Popcorn chicken and bubble waffles are staples. Their signature dish is the 'Woomy Sando,' popcorn chicken dusted with sour plum, served in a bubble waffle with sweet pickles. They have a pretty extensive boba menu, it's not the best. Try the sweet tea with mint jelly though.

A fisherman spotted her just east of the Farallon Islands (outside the Golden Gate) and radioed for help. Within a few hours, the rescue team arrived and determined that she was so badly off, the only way to save her was to dive in and untangle her…. a very dangerous proposition. One slap of the tail could kill a rescuer.
They worked for hours with curved knives and eventually freed her.
When she was free, the divers say she swam in what seemed like joyous circles. She then came back to each and every diver, one at a time, nudged them, and pushed gently, thanking them. Some said it was the most incredibly beautiful experience of their lives.
The guy who cut the rope out of her mouth says her eye was following him the whole time, and he will never be the same.
May you be so fortunate to be surrounded by people who will help you get untangled from the things that are binding you.
And, may you always know the joy of giving and receiving gratitude
