Hello, hello! Remember me? It's been a while and I only just joined Tumblr so. Haha.

Anyways, just out of curiosity, which is your most favourite fanart that you made this year compared to when you first started? :D

The Metal Slug picture is definitely my favourite! It has everything I want to show off from bright colours to chaos, and even has scanlinese too which make almost any picture 10x better!

I have to give a special shoutout to some of my ArtFight pieces though! I really was able to practice the style I want to use for my game more and some other styles too!

My art has kind of gone in stages:

Learned how to draw

Learned how to scan drawings in to colour

Learned how to use a drawing tablet

Joined fandoms to draw more

And now I'm at a stage where I just want to create me own things and draw & write for them all the time. It's been a fun journey, despite the.... many, many, many, many, MANY detours, issues and general torment of wanting to create things.

Nothing like motiving myself to practice drawing kisses from reference by making the final results feature my FEH girlies.

#Fun facts I don't post most of the art I make #Most of my Fire Emblem stuff has been drawing for more educational purposes #This one is no exception #Very often I will take a reference from Pinterest and directly insert FE characters into that image #It a.) helps motivate my study of human forms and b.) lets me study the design conventions of FEH specifically #It was so far from my comfort zone that studying it helped me break through some art habits I had at the time #Now it's much more familiar and I can draw the main four without reference pretty consistently. Warming up today before I start working for real. It's another Soren of course!

I'll count this as my final Brave Soren idea since there's a good possibility IS will just be extremely lazy and give us archsage. As long as we get Kita Senri art I'm sure he'll be amazing!!

imagine if your friend was revived as a zombie and then just told you "no it's fine, I'm still myself, I know I was revived by a person who killed a lot of people and can control zombies but I'm different, don't worry" and then summons their guardian spirit, but he's an emotionless husk of himself. and you have to choose whether to trust them before the other zombies get you. anyway that's one of my favorite scenes in engage
