They 100% gave it that title on purpose so the acronym would be RIME btw. Because it has to do with ice. And they're all NERDS (affectionate).

Anyway Rime the Cat is REAL and in space!!!

Callisto! Remotest satellite moon of Jupiter. It's old as balls, the 3rd largest moon in the solar system :D, it's almost the same size as Mercury! It's made mostly of ice and rocks, "resembling a raisin pudding" according to the Encyclopedia Britannica. Lol. It's got like NO geological activity because it's really far away from Jupiter's other three moons (and Jupiter), so it's like the most boring planetary body in space. It absorbs a ton of sunlight so it's super dark. BUT! because it's so old, we can use it to learn/infer space activity, looking at its craters. :D

You're gonna make me work hard for a cool Callisto fact that you didn't already include, but luckily I am up to the task! Ionization data indicates that Callisto has a subsurface ocean, it reacts to the magnetic fields around jupiter as if it had a shell of some conductive liquid about 10km thick, this means that like its two other outer Galilean moons, Europa and Ganymede (but not Io) and a handful of other moons of other planets with subsurface oceans, it's one of the better candidates in the solar system for life in that sort of setting.
