It’s come to a point where I’m just sick of online consumerism. I want to read physical magazines instead of cheap, churned out click bait articles or dramatised YouTube “essays” by people who may or may not know what they’re talking about. I want to go to a store and get inspired by the displays, check the quality and fit of the garments and chat with the salesperson, instead of click-drop ordering stuff that’ll arrive at a point where I’m already half bored by it and still have to check fit/quality. I want to go to the cinema to watch films on big screens and enjoy the velvet, popcorn-scented atmosphere, instead of watching films on streaming services, one eye on my phone the entire time. I want to go to grocery stores and walk around the aisles or take a stroll on the market instead of ordering boxes that’ll deliver floppy salad leaves and individually packet portions of rice of questionable quality.

This internet-mandated “comfort” is sucking the soul out of everything, it’s turning every aspect of life into a grey sludge of sitting in front of a screen.

[naturally I’m well aware of the fact that this comfort is making life easier for a lot of people and I’m not shaming them for using services that help them in their daily life. Apart from sharing my personal perspective, I’m also worried about the fact that online consumerism is slowly killing every real life service and that is sad.]

sorry but ppl on the internet are so naive when they genuinely believe the majority of people "hate capitalism".... that isnt anywhere near the truth. most people are sheep that just go along with what society says is right. when im out there and talk to "normal" people and listen to their convos they are literally pro capitalism. they talk about how the 8-5 work day 5/week is GOOD bc they get to work a lot and make "a lot" of money. many people will complain about unfair work hours and too big of a work load but they dont do anything more than complain... they wont vote for the left, they wont join unions, they wont stage protests or demonstrations... most ppl are like "omg fuck capitalism lmao ahhhaha fuck capitalism am i right???" but they still dont actually do anything to change it... because the entire point with capitalism is that it is comfortable and convenient. netflix and spotify is capitalism. ordering takeout is capitalism. having packages arrive to your door or close by is capitalism. concerts by your fav artists is capitalism. flying a plane to resorts all over the world is capitalism.... ppl only say "fuck capitalism" bc yes they're overworked and underpaid, but they dont actually want to live in a society without capitalism. it would mean a profound change of our entire reality as we've known it for centuries. it would be extreme. it would actually feel like it does in movies where the world is ending and society resets. it's too scary to actually go through with, and no one wants to do that. saving the planet and tearing down capitalism... would mean an extremely different world and life. no more driving your car to work and to the store and to the gym and back and forth to your parents or friends. no more going to multiple concerts every year. no more going to luxury resorts in ibiza or greece. no more online shopping. no more ordering takeout. the truth that nobody wants to admit, because no one wants to admit that they would choose to continue living in comfort even if it means destroying this planet, is that no. you dont hate capitalism. not truly. most people do not hate capitalism. if most people did... we wouldnt have the world we have now and always have had since capitalism was introduced. humans make this world. we get the world we deserve. and nature trying to kill us is what we deserve. it's like when we're sick and our bodies get fever to burn the virus. we are a virus. we could choose to stop. but we dont. only a small handful of people are willing to actually do what it takes to save earth. most ppl who make silly comments about oh my god fuck capitalism tihihihihi are not part of that small amount of people. it is sad, especially for the people who do get it, who do want to save earth, because we are such an extreme minority we have no power at all. the masses win. and the masses have chosen to live in greed and consumerism and comfort even if we'll pay the highest price thinkable.

Blog update

I have been quiet for a while here. Big sorry for that.

BUT! I have some news for the future of the shop, took time to plan out what I wanna do for the shop. A clearer idea after taking a step back and understanding how other folks do things on their own.

Emote/ digital Stickers:

After looking at other shops and actually doing a poll, I realize no one wants just single emotes. Bundles are where it is at and so I will be finishing the main set before making more. How many will be in one,? I am not sure as yet but that should be done soon.

Comics/ Zines:

This has always been the plan because I am making a comic, after realizing one might kill my computer, called 'Incoming text'.

A Sunnyday Jack fan comic that you can read for free over on my Twitter as it is being made. orz I am slow for the most part but once it is done, it will appear in the shop maybe two weeks after with some other goodies in it to thank you for buying. Not too sure if anyone would like my MC, Rex but it is worth a shot. After this comic, there will, hopefully, be another one. Tied to my ocs mostly and a VN I am working on called 'Something Warm'. It is going to be another spicy little thing as well.

Orz I need to make SFW comics. Those are in the works too....just can't spoil them all.

Will there be a deadline for any of these?

Uh well....I am not sure because I am working on another big project for the store. A kon actually. I am very close to completing everything that needs to get made for the kon and hopefully, it goes well. Maybe some of it will appear in the shop too. Though, I won't know for sure, fingers crossed that venture goes well.

The future is bright though! This whole thing will get somewhere because I don't wanna give up. \\owo//

I bought some of the layton games i didnt own copies of back in the day, just had on my r4, to replay slowly before whenever the new game comes out, and it seems a real shame to wipe the save data cause the prev owner Jenny full completed the game with every puzzle solved, twice!!
