Hey. Don't pay $60 for a Nintendo game. Don't pay $70 for a remake. & Don't pay $100 for GTA.
Tumblr media
For just 6 smackaroonies, you can become a bug in this neat lil' souls-like game. It's got multiplayer. You can cast spells on your friends. You can solo. You can decapitate an enemy & it will get back up. You can summon a plant that bites you. You can even go fishing. Become a fly, today!

actually if you think about it, making a game cost more in hopes it would alleviated stress of the poor schmuck programming it doesn't make a lot of sense. why would the cost of the game factor in the time of labor performed, especially when the schmuck isn't very likely to directly benefit.
anyways i doubt GTA 6 is going to cost that much tho I can see them selling the single player and multiplayer separately and making you buy both if you want both.
idk i lost faith in the games industry years ago.

this is possibly gonna get deleted later but im speculating on what video games the black phone gang would play
Vance would like retro games. Virtual pinball is a dead giveaway but I think other small arcade games like that would interest him too. like street fighter, that one zombie shooter that's in every arcade. He'd like resident evil. But secretly I think he also has a few cozy games. Like he and Bruce have a stardew farm he loves so dearly. He's also got the prettiest Animal Crossing island and insanely detailed perspective builds. He will not show you.
Bruce would have a pretty predictable selection, I feel. Stardew, Story of Seasons, Minecraft, etc. But he also plays stuff like Hades and Bayonetta! And he likes them a lot. When he starts playing Cult of the Lamb, everyone is really surprised. More so when his leadership style isn't gentle.
Finn is more of a multiplayer kinda guy. He plays with Robin and Gwen most days so his defaults are things they play together. He has a few he plays on his own like Mario or Yoshi's Island. He likes quieter games where there's no real stress (or death)
Robin is an fps and horror gamer most days. Unless he's playing with the others, you'll find him playing anything from Gears of War to Puppet Combo type stuff. He got into RE because of Vance and they only made it through 6 by complaining to each other about things they disliked with it.
Griffin is a cozy game boy. He's got an insanely pretty island on Animal Crossing. (not as good as Vance's but they have a secret agreement and he gives Griffin help if no one is around) He's played Potion Permit, Story of Seasons, Stardew, Rune Factory, etc. He's also the RPGMaker expert. And games like Spiritfarer and To The Moon are experiences he cherishes dearly.
Billy is also multi-genre. He plays anything that peaks his interest. He's the best at puzzle games though so he really likes Pictograph or Layton. Ace Attorney is another game he really enjoys. He also has the best time management in Pikmin.
Gwen will tell you she's a cozy gamer and she has the hours in ACNH and various other games to back it up. She played a lot of the same games Griffin did and they both learned to play For River together. Coffee Talk is a very special game to her. But she also could smoke you out in GTA and is more aggressive than even Vance when they all play Mario Kart. She's definitely completed a genocide run in Undertale.

Have you guys heard of the new game called InZOI from developer Krafton? It reminds me of Free City from Free Guy, or more accurately what Life Itself was supposed to be.
The developers are even working on online and multiplayer features which is super exciting to me.
It's mostly compared to a combination of Sims 5 and GTA 6

Man my fucking boyfriend. So many people want to be that guy in gaming. The guy who can play on a controller but aim his reticle like he’s using a mouse. The kind of guy who’s hands are an actual human aimbot. The kind of guy who intuitively gets timing and movement. The kind of guy who doesn’t get rusty when he takes breaks. The kind of guy who rarely loses a fight even if the opponent cheats. The kind of guy who’s gameplay is perfect for content because of how clean it is. The kind of guy who is perfect for streaming because of the things he can pull off that would hype up a stream. He’s the kind of guy that insecure people fear and other positive gamers respect his skill level. He’s the kind of guy who can be good at every aspect of a game. The kind of guy you could teach your specialty to and within weeks he will be doing it better.
My guy makes me so proud I don’t care if it sounds silly he makes me proud I’ve grown up playing games and they used to be so looked down in but we’re finally at a place where being good and entertaining while gaming can be a job so I’m proud of my guy for being so good and being entertaining. I’m proud of him for being a skilled gamer and being like me and respecting online multiplayer games, we do not cheat. Period. We don’t play cheap, we are legitimate tryhards, the real kind who simply want to be the best they can be at a game and get the best and hardest fights from people who want to fight we want NOTHING to do with someone who doesn’t want to fight that gives us nothing. I’m proud of him for being like me but being even better, it’s not a question he’s twice as good as me at least and I’m not upset or mad about that at all it’s humbling because I rarely ever lose and it makes me better practicing with someone better than me, and it also makes a big contribution to the content. I can do everything he does but not as quick, not as good looking, and not as often like I can take someone out of godmode and kill them but I’d do that like twice a year myself he does it like 2-3 a month sometimes for example.
But lately playing beach with him has just been a blast and an honest admiration for how easily he can lick something up and how good he’s gotten.
He didn’t know how to play beach aw in gta before he met me and maybe a full year and a half ago now we started playing it and I learned just from watching montages and YouTube guides and streams so my grasp was slow and not very hands on I knew the rules but the in game practice was lacking so when we started playing it was good to start actually practicing but at first we just fought at the beach and I slowly told him rule by rule until we were eventually playing full beach aw matches by the book and even starting to get keks sometimes when we play. Then maybe 6 months ago we both got it down a lot we’d both Atleast get a kek each match and we played a lot more begginer beach’s players. Now though is diffferent. We both okay like full blown beach aw tryhards. We both constantly are going for keks, higher keks more stylish keks, forcing spawns and playing beach at a faster more aggressive pace sometimes he keks me back to back to back sometimes it’s impossible to spawn in because he covers every single span possible and really playing indistinguishable from other real beach players that only okay beach we’re actually freemode players. And now he’s actually SO good at aw he doesn’t even just kek at beach he has been getting keks in the city now he got his first real on a few months ago in June on his birthday and he just texts me that he keks someone in the city and saw the rag doll. He’s something else. Not to mention he is human aimbot with the sniper. He loves his reticle like nothing I’ve ever seen it just moves all over and moves right on target it’s insane it’s not even really drag scoping sometimes it damn near like using a mouse but he doesn’t lmao he’s something else honesty he’s a whole different level of gamer.
Mom so glad that he joined me in making content and running a YouTube channel because I wish he had done it before he is so talented but then I guess we wouldn’t have our channel doing our thing but I’m glad he Atleast does it now because his gameplay and everything deserves to be out there and his clips everything he’s so above average at gaming it blows my mind when I’m editing sometimes I don’t understand how he does things sometimes.
Ahh sorry babe done ranting about how great you are I love you <3

GTA 5: How To Sell Cars in the Story Mode of GTA 5?
Tumblr media
As a large-scale game, GTA 5 has a lot of players in each mode. For different modes, players always feel sorry for some of the missing features in their modes.
Regarding the story mode, some players have raised questions about whether the story mode can sell cars like the online mode. But unfortunately, for the current mode, players cannot sell cars in the story mode of Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5), because the act of selling cars only exists in the online mode of Grand Theft Auto (the online multiplayer component of the game), which can be said to be a unique feature.
Different modes of GTA 5
Grand Theft Auto 5 Story Mode
Story mode is a single-player campaign mode, and players can play as Mike, Franklin and Trevor. The focus of this mode is narrative and completing tasks. Players can complete tasks without too much communication. It is suitable for players who like simple experience and can complete tasks quickly.
Grand Theft Auto 5 Online Mode
The online mode is an online multiplayer game mode where players can interact with other players in the game, such as completing missions together, participating in competitions, participating in various activities, etc. The richness and experience are relatively high, and in the online mode of Grand Theft Auto 5, players can sell certain stolen vehicles in Los Santos Customs.
GTA 6 is about to be launched, and many new and old players are still waiting to see whether to join this game. As a novice, a detailed guide is also very important, so this is worth a look. - GTA 5 Guide
What is the difference between the two game modes?
In addition to having different game experiences, the game design separates these functions. Players can also choose the corresponding mode according to their desired game methods, and more gameplay can be added to the two modes. At the same time, for each mode in the coming year, you can see:
Balance the economy in the story mode
Allowing players to sell vehicles endlessly in the story mode may undermine the expected progress of the game and the importance of making money through missions and other activities. It can be seen that the development team deliberately restricted the free trading function of vehicles, which was a well-thought-out decision. By controlling the freedom of the economic system, the tension of the game plot and the sense of accomplishment brought by completing tasks can be better maintained, and players can avoid losing the motivation to complete various tasks due to accumulating too much wealth too early.
Encourage online games
Selling vehicles as a feature of GTA Online can motivate players to participate in the online mode, which is an important part of the GTA 5 experience. In the online mode, the complete vehicle trading system has become an important function to attract players to continue to participate. This design cleverly combines economic gameplay with social interaction. Players can not only make profits by buying and selling vehicles, but also have various interesting interactions with other players in the process.
Therefore, for players who want to make profits through vehicle trading, GTA Online is indeed a more suitable choice. This design not only solves the core needs of different game modes, but also strengthens their respective characteristics through differences in mechanisms, and ultimately provides players with a richer and more layered gaming experience.

Any games you like? Do you play hsr or wuthring waves or zzz those are the best gacha games in my opinion🤭 and GTA6 will be released on may26 2026 I can’t wait I was happy when they announced it because I feel they have to work more so they don’t give us bad experiences I hope you got what I mean😭
None of those, but I used to play Path to Nowhere, a different gacha game, pretty regularly and even wrote a fanfic about it under my pseudonym Gachagayms. I mainly stopped because there just wasn’t any new story content and the side stories just didn’t have any ladies that were my tastes, so I lost interest. Think it’s already been half a year and from what I saw, I don’t feel like I’m missing out.
I’ve never played any GTA games and multiplayer games, especially the online ones, aren’t my thing, but for the sake of a good game, I hope it’s worth the wait and the money. I know the ‘Can’t believe we got X before GTA 6’ meme, so I know everyone’s been waiting for quite a while. Plus, while I’m don’t like pokemon, I’m painfully aware of how unfinished they are releasing those games so I’m begging devs in general to actually put out finished games.
But as for games I do play, the answer is not many. I actually only ‘play’ the sims 4, or well design characters and houses. I did also play Stardew valley, but I don’t like any of the bachelorettes and there was only so much I could do before it got tedious for me. Sometimes I still grab my ps vita and play some god eater, especially now that a friend of mine is writing a fic about it. I also bought the third game that I haven’t played but who’s story I’m not a fan off, but pc controls suck so that wasn’t happening. I did buy ratchet and clank again not too long ago for the ps2. I almost finished it but now I don’t touch it anymore cause I kinda don’t wanna finish it ngl.
And older followers of my work on ao3 may remember I actually started off in the DOL fandom of all things. Still highly regret ever touching that game because a lot of elements make me uncomfortable at best…
And I will always be a huge horror rpg fan. Love watching manlybadasshero play old classics like Wadanohara and new ones like (don’t cancel me I’m not into blood incest) tcoaal.
Anyhow, when it comes to amusing myself I mainly write or read manga! Gaming also asks too much energy for me usually.

The Gaming Industry’s Latest Moves: Netflix’s Strategy Shift, GDC Awards, and GTA 6’s Economic Impact
The gaming industry is in a constant state of evolution, and recent developments highlight just how rapidly companies are adapting. From Netflix’s strategic pivot in gaming to the latest GDC Awards winners and the economic impact of Grand Theft Auto 6, these shifts signal major changes for both players and developers alike.
Netflix’s New Plan for Games
Netflix entered the gaming space in 2021 but has struggled to find its footing. Now, with Alain Tascan—formerly of Epic Games—leading the charge, the company is refining its approach. Rather than trying to compete with AAA game studios, Netflix is focusing on four key areas: narrative-driven games, multiplayer party games, kids’ games, and broad-appeal mainstream titles. This move aligns with its existing entertainment strategy, making gaming an extension of its streaming empire.
A major shift is Netflix’s plan to make games playable on TVs using smartphones as controllers. By the end of the year, users will be able to jump into games without the need for a console or dedicated controller, reducing friction and increasing accessibility. With its massive subscriber base, Netflix has the potential to introduce casual players to gaming in a way that no traditional platform can.
GDC Awards 2025: Celebrating Innovation
The Game Developers Choice Awards (GDC Awards) and the Independent Game Festival (IGF) Awards recently honored the best in gaming. Black Myth: Wukong took home the coveted Game of the Year award, solidifying its place as one of the most impactful releases of the year. These awards are particularly significant because they are voted on by industry professionals, making them a true reflection of game developers’ perspectives on innovation and quality.
The IGF Awards, which celebrate independent games, also recognized a wide range of creative and experimental projects. These accolades highlight the industry’s growing appreciation for both large-scale and indie developers, showing that gaming’s future isn’t solely dependent on massive blockbuster releases.
The Economic Impact of GTA 6
Few games generate as much anticipation as Grand Theft Auto 6. While some developers worry that their titles will be overshadowed, industry experts believe the game’s release will benefit the entire ecosystem. Greg Rice, lead curator for Day of the Devs, argues that GTA 6 will bring more players back into gaming, potentially increasing interest in other titles.
This aligns with Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick’s belief that GTA 6 will drive console sales and reinvigorate the gaming market. Historically, major game releases have introduced new audiences to gaming, and GTA 6 is poised to be a cultural phenomenon. The excitement surrounding its launch could lead to a surge in game sales across the industry, benefiting both indie and AAA developers.
A Pivotal Moment for Gaming
With Netflix doubling down on accessible gaming, the GDC Awards celebrating industry excellence, and GTA 6 set to boost the gaming economy, the industry is entering an exciting phase. Whether it’s through innovative distribution models, recognition of diverse talent, or the release of a record-breaking blockbuster, gaming’s influence continues to grow—reshaping how we play and experience entertainment.

XP Grind Begins: The Games That Will Dominate 2025
Tumblr media
With the current generation PlayStation and Xbox systems well into their lives and Nintendo most likely launching the successor to the Nintendo Switch, 2025 is shaping up to be a very fascinating year for video games. Not to mention all the exclusives that will undoubtedly be available on PC and mobile devices.
You may find some parallels if you look at the list of titles scheduled for 2025 below. So far this year, virtually few release dates have been announced. Developers are reportedly waiting for GTA 6 to reveal its release date. Nobody wants to compete with the eagerly awaited blockbuster, just like with Wicked: For Good or an unexpected Beyoncé album. This also applies to when the recently revealed Nintendo Switch 2 is available for purchase.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Almost all AAA game companies started developing a game with a main character wielding a samurai sword after Sekiro's popularity. I am referring to video games such as Rise of the Rōnin and Ghost of Tsushima. Naturally, Ubisoft finally decided to put one of their yearly Assassin's Creed games in Japan during the Edo era.
Doom: The Dark Ages
Appealing to some of the niche player fanbase, Bethesda finally announced a new Doom game. Narratively, Doom: The Dark Ages is a predecessor to the 2016 relaunch of the new Doom series. With all-new firearms, a shield, and a variety of flail-type weapons for close combat, it's more of a fresh twist on the formula than a sequel. A mech is also present. A mech dragon, too.
In a nod to the original Doom games, Doom: The Dark Ages is stepping back from the fast-paced action of Doom Eternal and returning to horizontal battlegrounds. We are excited for everything that it means because it appears to be a totally fresh concept for the series.
Elden Ring Nightreign
Honestly, this felt more like a wild card entry. After suffering from tremendous success and creating a beautiful story, we were sure of no Elden Ring sequel. Nevertheless, Elden Ring: Nightreign, which is scheduled for release in 2025, will make the terrible ordeal of repeatedly dying for the same boss a common event. By the end of May, the multiplayer version of Elden Ring will be available.
Given that the cooperative spin-off appears less like a full-fledged sequel and more like FromSoft made everyone's illicit multiplayer modifications an official product, I suppose Miyazaki was partially telling the truth. In addition to having elements of rogue-like, Monster Hunter, and battle royale games, it is still fundamentally a Souls game.
Death Stranding 2
Video game creator Hideo Kojima is working diligently to complete the follow-up to the controversial Death Stranding video game from 2019. Players navigated a vast terrain to repair a damaged planet in the action game and package-delivery simulator, which starred Mads Mikkelsen and Norman Reedus. When Death Stranding started to resemble the Covid-19 outbreak, which began just weeks after the game's release, its popularity began to grow. Kojima is now preparing the follow-up for a 2025 release.
On this one, Kojima is giving it his all. George Miller, the director of Mad Max, makes brief appearances, and there are men playing electric guitars and little talking puppets.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4
This summer, a brand-new Tony Hawk Pro Skater game will be released. In technical terms, it is both a sequel and a remake of the excellent Pro Skater 1+2 remake. Just a few months before to its summer release date, the title was revealed.
This will be the first time that generations of players have played these old games on a contemporary system. Numerous enthusiasts believe that THPS 3 is the finest in the series specifically. It will be interesting to revisit Pro Skater 4 with a new look because it is the most neglected of the original tetralogy.
Borderlands 4
Compared to the 2019 release of Borderlands 3, the well-known looter-shooter game has a lot of competition. However, Gearbox Software, the game's creator, is optimistic that devoted fans will return for the upcoming release. After all, Borderlands 3 sold over $15 million, and the fan base is clearly eager for a sequel.
Although I am unable to comment on the current situation of that terrible-looking Borderlands film, I can attest that Borderlands 4 is a much-anticipated video game that doesn't require any prior knowledge of the film. The firearms appear ill, too. After four tries, it appears like this follow-up is finally fulfilling the original Borderlands' promise.
The Witcher 4
The Witcher 4 intends to move away from Geralt and follow Ciri, his adoptive daughter. At the 2024 Game Awards, a cinematic teaser was unveiled, promising an expanded narrative that will expand on The Witcher's renowned lore.
The teaser included some of the most intriguing content from the Game Awards, but there isn't an official release date yet. Even if it wasn't gameplay, players will enjoy any updates made to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
2025 seems to be packed with great titles and even greater hype for all of them. From GTA 6 to Days Gone Remastered, everything seems to be chaotic. The wallets are definitely going to take a hit this year, but if the game is good, its money well spent.
