Galleryyuhself - It’s back!
The Tobago Jazz Experience returns in April 2023 after a three-year hiatus.
The event spans from April 20 to 23 and will feature top-tier local and international performers. The talent line-up for this year already features Grammy Award winners Boyz II Men and Koffee, as well as Everton Blender, Richie Spice, Theron Shaw, Tony Paul, and Vaughnette Bigford, with even more to be added to the cast of performers. On an island where there is so much to do and even more to see, it’s no wonder that one of the most incredible music experiences takes place annually.
The event will once again transport festival lovers in more ways than one; to various parts of the island. Giving you an experience like no other.Source: https://tobagofestivalscommission.com/tobago-jazz.../

Did you know? During quarantine, stats actually show there was an increase in road fatalities? Less people on the road and more accidents.  We urge everyone, practice responsible driving. Lives are important!
Tumblr media
Hello again T&T! We hope everyone has been safe at home during quarantine. Remember social distancing and responsible driving saves lives!

~Galleryyuhself~ The Ministry of Works and Transport is doing a decent job with their advertising. Who could resist the promise of ‘Driving Towards Transformation?’ The “O’ being a steering wheel and the other a triple sphere to me is a bit much, but I can see whomever ok’d these wanting to send the message home.

Tomas Bata was the founder of the Bata Corporation, it is one of the leading shoe companies in the world to this day. In the early 1930's, two hundred pairs of shoes were shipped to Trinidad and Tobago and that was to be the beginning of Bata's very successful presence in this country. The company continued doing business here until 1993. Some of their more popular shoes were the Bata Bullets and the Bata Flip Flops.

Fun fact:Bata was a pioneer in the use of corporate aviation. The company had it's own aircraft which were used for attending meetings at its subsidiaries around the world. The aircraft was also used for transporting skilled workers to factories when needed.
