it was around 3am when I interviewed Craig because of the time difference, and wow. let me tell you getting hit by full on Irish accent before reaching full consciousness is quite the experience. competing in the longboard circuit, Craig is still the only openly gay surfer in the WSL. he was kind enough to open up about his experiences in coming out and taking care of his mental health in the years that followed.
