“La era del cuero”, de Pablo Rottemberg en el Teatro San Martín. Paisajes posapocalípticos y tormentas digitales. En el desierto argentino se cabalga y se baila como nunca, y los cuerpos se retuercen hasta lo inimaginable. Malambo en modo loop, deslumbrante. Ballet en tres actos, taco y fleco, peluca y rodillera, chamamé y carnavalito, Ginastera y Shostakovich. Imperdible. @elsanmartinctba #laeradelcuero #ballet #malambo #queer #buenosaires #baile #cuerpo #argentina #teatro #shostakovich #ginastera #gaucho #sabado (en Teatro San Martín) https://www.instagram.com/p/CmB1oyvu3m4/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Review of "Hilary Hahn: Eclipse," with the Frankfurt Symphony Orchestra on a DG Compact Disc
Hilary Hahn was probably born with a violin in her hand. Well, that’s close. She began playing the violin before she was four years old and made her concert stage debut at age eleven with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. She has played with virtually every major symphony orchestra since then, recorded a number of albums (mostly for DG and Sony), and won an appropriate number of awards. So, yes, any new recording from her is a welcome event.

the funny thing about having sung in church choir and catholic school choir and classical chamber choir is that 75% of the music ive had has been religious (or 'secular' christmas music) and much of the rest has been in another language.
but now that im in a hobby choir, we're singing a lot more modern pieces with non-religious topics, which is sometimes nice and sometimes a bit cringe, but also means that for maybe the first time ever my brain has been connecting choir music to my blorbos and i really dont know what to do with that.
