He doesn’t react much outwardly, but you can see the gears turning in his mind. His fingers run along the fabric, subtle and slow, taking in how perfectly it suits you. His gaze lingers, eyes softening as he murmurs, "You look beautiful," before placing a gentle, chaste kiss on your forehead.

KITAE KIM

He doesn’t say anything at first, instead moving in to adjust something, only to find everything is perfectly in place. A small smile tugs at his lips, contentment quietly blooming on his face. He throws an arm around your shoulders, pulling you close as you two head out together.

JAEGYEON NA

His jaw drops the moment he sees you. He hadn’t expected you to actually wear something traditional. Without missing a beat, he lifts you up in a bridal carry and spins you around, laughing, utterly swept up in the moment.

SEONGJI YUK

He flushes a deep tomato red, unable to meet your eyes. You tease him, asking if he’s repulsed by the sight. That’s when he finally looks at you, really looks, and now he can’t tear his gaze away.

He doesn’t say much, just gives a slow, unreadable nod. But his stare is sharper than ever. You ask if the hanbok doesn’t suit you, only for him to shut you up with a sudden, searing kiss. "Idiot," he mutters against your lips before taking your hand and leading you to wherever you had planned to go.

GOO KIM

His eyes widen in sheer delight. "Baby, you look ethereal," he says, immediately pulling out his phone to take photos of you. When you mention your hair still needs styling, he just waves it off. "You’re already a masterpiece," he says, beaming. "A work of God. You are." , he adds.

ELI JANG

When you step out and ask how it looks, he just stares, completely frozen for a second. Then, flustered and wide-eyed, he rushes toward you, his hands clammy as he stammers, "You look gorgeous." He’s genuinely awestruck, and it takes a little nudge to bring him back to reality.

DANIEL PARK

A bright blush immediately spreads across his cheeks. He stammers, clearly struggling to find the right words. Instead, he hovers around you like an excited puppy, eyes wide with wonder as he quietly marvels at your beauty.

Gun worked swiftly, slicing the apples with precision. He glanced over at his baby girl in her seat, her wide eyes tracking his every move as he sliced through each piece. You were down with a fever, leaving him to not only take care of you but also to manage his curious, babbling daughter.

He held up a bunny-shaped apple slice, presenting it to her with a slight smirk. Her reaction was immediate—eyes lighting up as she reached out, tiny fingers stretching toward the apple. “You like the bunny?” he asked as she took it and clumsily tried to nibble on it, ending up with more drool than bites.

Gun shook his head with a faint smile, but just as he turned back to finish the apple slices, she banged her chubby hands on the tray, her little mouth opening in a string of excited babbles.

“What’s wrong?” he asked, tilting his head as she bounced in her seat, one hand gripping the bunny slice like a prized possession while the other pointed insistently at the plate.

“These are for mommy,” he explained, trying to hold his ground, but she only babbled louder, waving her free hand around as if to insist.

Gun sighed, glancing at the bunny-shaped slice she held, and then at the other slices on the plate. “You want all of them like this?” he muttered, looking back at her. “You think mommy would like it, huh?”

“Mamamama!” she gurgled happily, slapping her tiny hands against the tray again, clearly delighted at his consideration.

Gun chuckled, shaking his head. “Fine, you win.” He picked up another apple slice, carefully cutting it into another bunny shape. His daughter watched, entranced, and when he showed her the new bunny, she squealed with delight.

As he worked, Gun continued to talk to her, more to keep her entertained than anything. “Think mommy’s going to like the bunnies?” he mused out loud, and she responded with a babble, as if offering her very serious opinion on the matter.

After finishing, he arranged the bunny-shaped slices neatly on the plate, giving one last glance to his daughter, who had finally managed a small nibble on her slice. “Well, if it makes you two happy…” he muttered with a small, barely-there smile, carrying his daughter in one arm and the plate in his other hand to bring a little joy to his sick wife.

With his daughter happily babbling away at her “help” and his own satisfaction at his work.

ᯓ★—GOO

Goo strolled through the house with his baby girl snuggled in her carrier, her tiny feet kicking as she took in everything with wide, curious eyes. Every few steps, she’d babble something, and Goo would gasp dramatically, as if she’d just shared the most incredible news.

“Oh, really?” he chuckled, bouncing her gently. “You’re just full of stories today, aren’t you?”

They paused in the hallway when she started reaching out, her little hand stretching toward a framed photo on the wall. It was a candid picture of Goo and you, both smiling on your wedding day. She babbled louder, smacking her little hand against the photo, clearly fascinated.

“Oh-ho! You found mama and dada, huh?” Goo teased, leaning closer to the picture so she could get a better look. She gurgled, waving her hands at the frame, and Goo’s grin grew. “You like that, huh? That’s ‘cause mama’s in it. She’s the pretty one, right? Dada’s just the one making her laugh.”

“Umwa, mwaamama!” she let out a string of babbles, and Goo put on a look of mock surprise. “You think she’s prettier than me? Oh, so it’s like that, huh?” he said, feigning hurt. “I’ll let that one slide since you’re my favorite girl.”

His daughter’s little noises filled the hall, and he grinned, nodding like she’d made the smartest observation. “Ohhh, you think I got lucky, huh? You got that right, sweetie. Lucky, lucky, lucky,” he chuckled. “And look at you, you’re her little twin! Same smile, same cute face… except you got daddy’s charm, don’t you?” he added with a wink, booping her nose.

Another babble.

“Yeah, I know,” he replied, nodding as though they were having a full-blown conversation. “She’s smart, tough, and—well, let’s just say she’s got me wrapped around her finger. And you… you’re just like her, you know? Gonna grow up and be just as amazing.”

He paused, caught off guard by his own words, blinking in surprise as he felt a weird flutter in his chest. “Whoa, that was... okay, that was a little too sentimental,” he muttered, looking down at his daughter, who just blinked up at him with wide, curious eyes. “Ugh, daddy went full cringe mode for a second there. Ignore that, okay?”

But she just babbled back, and Goo groaned playfully, rolling his eyes. “Oh, great, you’re telling mama? You’re ratting dada out for being sappy? Unbelievable,” he said before pressing a kiss to the top of her head.

Jake rocked his crying little girl in his arms, gently swaying back and forth as he tried every trick he could think of to calm her down. He bounced her, hummed softly, even gave her that little “shh-shh-shh” that sometimes worked like magic. But today? Not a chance. Her babbling came between tiny, hiccupping sobs, and he leaned down to look at her with a gentle smile, brushing a thumb softly across her chubby cheek.

“Someone’s got a lot to say,” he murmured, his voice soft. “Tell me, princess, what’s wrong? You hungry?” He shifted her in his arms, bouncing her lightly. “Or are you just giving daddy a little piece of your mind?”

His daughter’s cries softened for a moment, only to pick back up again with another babble. Jake widened his eyes, nodding as if he fully understood her complaints. “Ah, I see, I see,” he replied, nodding seriously. “So it’s the blanket, huh? Not soft enough? Or was it the bottle? Too warm? Too cold? Man, this is complicated.”

She let out another babble-cry, tiny fists reaching up to grab onto his shirt as if she were clinging to her last hope. He chuckled, taking her tiny hand and pressing a gentle kiss to her fingers. “Alright, I get it, princess. You’re not mad. Just… sharing some feedback, right? I respect that.”

She let out a series of softer babbles, staring up at him with watery eyes, and Jake leaned forward, pressing his forehead lightly to hers. “Yeah, I’m listening. Go on, get it all out. Daddy’s right here.”

With each little sound she made, Jake nodded along, pretending to take mental notes. “Oh, so it’s my singing you’re not a fan of? I thought it was pretty good—so did mommy, but maybe I need some pointers from the expert,” he whispered, winking. “And the rocking chair? Too slow, right? Got it, I’ll add that to daddy’s list.”

She continued to babble, and he kept going along with it, his voice taking on a playful tone. “And here I thought daddy was nailing it, huh? Guess I still have a lot to learn from the boss.”

She let out a few more babbling sounds, her tone shifting like she was calming down, and Jake continued, nodding sympathetically. “And on top of that, maybe you missed mommy a little too, right? Thought she’d be here, didn’t you?” He gave her a warm smile, his fingers tracing gentle circles on her back. 

Finally, her cries faded into little hiccups, her big eyes staring up at him. Jake let out a soft laugh, his hand rubbing soothing circles on her back. “See? You just needed someone to listen. Don’t worry, princess—I’ll always be here, taking notes and making sure everything’s just right.”

His daughter cooed softly, finally content, her tiny fingers clutching his shirt as she nestled closer. Jake let out a relieved sigh, pulling her closer.

"There's someone here to see you," the receptionist says with a questionable look on their face.

Oh? You weren't expecting anyone. You follow them to the lobby, all the while they're casting furtive glances in your direction.

What the hell?

They look half impressed and half terrified. Who exactly is here to see you? You round the corner and-

Ah. Ok. This makes total sense.

Gun Park comes into view and you now understand their feelings completely. Looking larger than life, quiet and menacing and confident in an eye-wateringly expensive button-up and slacks that fit perfectly to his form.

My god.

Forget fight or flight, it's usually flight or goddamn when it comes to Gun.

But why is he here?

"You've forgotten this," he says holding out a bento box wrapped in a cute cloth with small chubby cats all over.

He came all this way just to deliver this for you? You soften and smile brightly. "Thanks!"

Gun nods, eyes concealed behind his sunglasses, but his fingers grazes and lingers on yours when he hands you your lunch.

"Can I try those on?" You ask.

Goo blinks owlishly. "My glasses?" 

"Yep!"

"Nope," Goo says, popping the 'p'.

Ugh. 

It's just that... Goo has pretty bad eyesight. Yes he likes to wear glasses because it’s called style, but he also damn well needs them. Not that he likes to admit it, because he's sure some bastard would use that to his advantage, though he's confident that he'll be able to beat the hell out of anyone that tries but why work harder for the same result.

So no, he has never let anyone try on his glasses except-

He frowns at you. Your eyes are impossibly wide and sad.

Goddamn it, you've learned this pathetic look from him. And it's also working. Ughhhh.

"Fine!" Goo sighs and he removes his frames. 

You beam at him as he places them on your face.

"Really?" Mary snorts, arching an eyebrow when she catches the song playing on his phone.

Vin doesn't bother to remove his headphones. Turning up his music with one hand, he flips her off with the other.

She rolls her eyes and walks off, cussing him out under her breath.

That was embarrassing.

What would have been even more embarrassing is if she saw Vin's playlist. She would have no doubt been able to put two and two together, that witch.

It started as songs that he liked. Kinda. He couldn't put his finger on why he liked them, he just knew he did. It was an eclectic mix, everything from ballads through to blues to hip hop. Yet the vibes, to him, were all the same.

He listens to the playlist everyday, even as it grew and more songs were added, he came back to it regularly.

One night, lying in bed, music loud and a singer crooning into his ear as he texts you back, he finally realises the running theme.

It's cringe, and a secret he'll take to his grave-

You look up at Sammy, contrite and desperate because this report is taking far too long and you've made so many mistakes that your supervisor has rejected it twice before she went home and-

"Leave it."

You blink. Once. Twice. Your eyebrows knit together. "Huh?"

"I'll assign it to-" Sammy signals in the vague direction of your said absent supervisor. 

You think about her peacefully enjoying her evening then coming in the next morning to a monstrous report that is really your responsibility, as well as all her usual work and deadlines and-

You gasp, "No! You can't! I'll finish it in the next 30 minutes, I promise!"

Samuel peers past your eyes that are growing wetter by the second and your panic stricken expression and scans the screen quickly. Your report is almost done but he's already counted 17 errors on a single page.

This must be some kind of company record.

With a sigh, he closes his eyes and pinches the bridge of his nose.

"This can wait," he decides. It really can't though.

"What, I thought it was for your meeting?" It is.

"Don't worry about it." You should be worried about it.

"Are you sure?" No, he isn't sure.

Samuel takes one look at your eyes full of hope and decides that yes, he will have to make this work either way.

He's confident that tomorrow will go well, it has to. With or without this report. And if not, some subtle blackmail and threats will certainly help.

Daniel Park:

“I love you, don't forget to call me when you get home!"

You: “Okay. Bye.”

Pauses. Processes. Doesn’t say anything.

Says nothing for 10 minutes, then hits you with:

“Is this a test?”

You: “What?”

“A test of loyalty. Honesty. Trust. Emotional—”

He looked like a puppy, whining, drenched in the rain, getting told to stay outside the house because he destroyed the sofa. You feel so bad for him so you stay with him for 30 more minutes outside your house to calm down.

Gun Park:

“Love you.”

You: “Alright."

You blink, and he’s suddenly standing five inches closer.

“Say it.”

You: “Say what?”

“You know.”

Stares at you so hard your soul leaves your body, you say “I love you” with your full chest just to survive.

Goo Kim:

“Love you~”

You: “Mhm!”

“MHM???”

Starts spiraling instantly. Drops to the ground like a dying Victorian man.

“You said ‘mhm’ like I handed you a napkin, not my heart.”

You text: "Thanks, you too."

You comfort him and assure that it was just a prank, and after a while of convincing you still love him (of course you do), he breathes a sigh of relief.

You practically see Eden and Miro facepalming.

You: “See ya!”

He stops. Blinks. Turns.

“…Wait.”

Follows you like a shadow. You lock the door? He stands outside. You go to work? He shows up during your lunch break.

Spends the rest of the day overthinking while fixing his hair in every mirror he passes.

He texts it casually: “Love you.”

You: “Alright, later.”

Doesn’t flinch. Doesn’t comment.

Just quietly nods and moves on.

But his next text to you is noticeably more formal.

You two had been talking about the future, a lot. And one day, out of nowhere, he asks whether you want kids.

You hesitate. It feels like a slippery slope. Saying yes might mean giving in to the expectations of the Yamazaki clan. Saying no could mean defying them entirely. So, you go with the vaguest response possible:

"I haven’t really thought about it."
