"Not anything I'm remotely proficient in." Hobbie stared at his datapad and slid it over to Krennic. "I suppose it's too much to hope that you might know anything about the gutterwork system of capital ships?"

Ode to my morning walk
Here is an excerpt from a piece of writing I did a while back. It’s a satirical piece about my town and general life in modern Britain, any feedback would be appreciated.
‘Ode to my morning walk’:
Donning the essential pair of headphones, I step outside my door and inhale deeply. A concoction of fresh pine, newly formed dew and cigarette smoke circulate through my lungs; leaving home with a solemn stroll on the pavements. A tedious voyage lies ahead, therefore anything to lessen the morning’s toll on my senses is greatly appreciated; a swift browse of my MP3 player’s songs occupies just enough time for me to reach the local post office. Out of instinct I take the headphones off, pricking an ear up and catching wind of an exchange between two delinquents (one half-smiling and reaching for a heaving bottle of vodka, the other fixated on the beverage from the other side of the counter.
“Awrite my love, jus this in please!” announces the man, draped in a patchwork coat.
Glaring back at him, ‘Sue’ returns with “You know its 8:30 right?”.
‘Patch’ raises an eyebrow, beginning to unscrew the bottle and reaching for his socks, pulling a crumpled note among unshaven black hairs.
As depressing as it may seem, this is the single most sophisticated exchange I have experienced at the shop. Perhaps if ‘Patch’ had snatched a packet of chewing gum while her back was turned he would have been given a knighthood. Passing the shop takes as little as four seconds however, I walk considerably more slowly when I see ‘Patch inside; a true character and a staple of Braintree life. He proceeds out of the door, walking behind me and sipping from the bottle. Hesitantly, I quicken my pace for as much as I like the guy… I’m not looking to get stabbed this early.
Several minutes of strolling, reaches the edge of ‘Coffin Dodgers Corridor’. Behind several estates, each respectively drowning in filth, a cut-through is populated with many residences for OAPs who pootle around the pavement, beelining for a splattering of charity shops. Weaving through this mass, I find myself in the middle of town. Imposing brick buildings loom over dishevelled market stalls in which toothless wraiths stand beside stale foreign crisps and signs reading ‘Let Jesus in!’. Regardless of the time, regardless of however much of a rush I’m in, these people never fail to hand me a pamphlet with either Jesus or a cross (sometimes both) plastered across the front like a branded drink. It’ll only be a few years until religions are appearing on our TV’s with advertisements: “87% of people who accepted Jesus into their lives went on to become Christians and/or paedophiles” or “Islam is the second largest religion, join today (unless you’re a homosexual)!” Sifting around this labyrinthian construction, it is not uncommon to believe that you are in amongst the hustle and bustle of a Moroccan market. Liberally pushing aside junkies and pregnant teenagers allows me to progress through the area, plunging back into humanity as I reach a divine threshold.
A free-flowing river of tarmac stands in the way of my destination. I contemplate whether it would prove more beneficial to leap onto the grille of an oncoming bus, seeking to end this torture while this crowd gawks from a distance. Perhaps tomorrow…
I turn my music up one again.
Passing between the dishevelled arches of an alley, I weave through a set of rusted motorbikes leaning against a rollercoaster of gutterwork. A pair of gentlemen stand before me and the end of the alley: one wears a turtleneck, carries a vape and is engulfed in a cloud of liquorice smoke, the other… wears a turtleneck, carries a vape and is engulfed in a cloud of liquorice smoke. The only difference between them is that the second is hunched over, dripping bile from his lips and takes a hit from his vape in-between retches.
“There’s breakfast!” he announces, coughing up a puddle of nicotine.
Venturing back into the morning light signals my arrival into a physical manifestation of ‘Rush Hour’. A splattering of identical of white BMWs rest along the alcove’s crest, teetering on the entrance as if waiting of a low yodel to trigger an avalanche of steel, rubber and ego. Rather ironically a church’s steeple peers over to the scene behind the branches of an ancient oaken giant, as if smirking at the piece from blessed rooftiles. Depending on the current song, I choose accordingly whether to walk through the hastily made sanctuary, waltzing amongst gravestones and pine needles; or to miss the experience altogether. My outstretched arm coerces the church gate open, sending splinters flying into an unforgiving cloud sky above yet as ‘Green Day’ begins to creep into my ears, my body swerves towards “The Boulevard of Broken Dreams” … Convenient.
Crossing the road and continuing my way downwards leads underneath a railway bridge. The Flitch Way. An old industrial railway line converted into a nature walk; used rarely enough to justify several hours along its furrowed gravel pathways as a ‘day out’. Moving downwards still, I passed three intact croissants lying on the pavement. I was torn between whether it was a Banksy-esque social commentary on British values towards the EU, highlighting the UK’s inept arrogance towards its borders… either that or someone had dropped them. I digress… and after much deliberation, I decided to unpack my climbing gear and begin ‘The Ascent’. ‘The Ascent’ dictates three minutes of unbridled torture as I rappel up a completely vertical hill. To be perfectly honest, ‘The Ascent’ isn’t that steep a hill however, if you were to embark on it every morning for two years… Your legs become inherently thinner as soon as you take that first step towards ‘The Summit’. ‘The Summit’ being a menagerie of council houses, reeking from the pestilence festering inside of the orifices of the area, containing the most wretched people in the known universe.
Stepping into school, a foreboding sense of dread overwhelms me. For as much music as I can pump into my ears, it’s impossible to forget that I’ll have to make the same walk home in just an hour.

“Chaos In The Making“
A fanart of @chaosgoblinhours Gutterwork Crew starring twins Jaqi and Jaqa Altoro and Iza Haza, the most likely culprits for over 60% of pranks on the Executor. This could be also a prequel to “Put Out The Fires” but no one can convince me the three didn’t prank someone with glitter and glue before that.

What are Rainy Gutterwork Used For
There are gutters cleaned that make up the perfect gutter. If you are not sure which roof gutter is suitable for your roof, you should contact a professional or research options before making a final decision. A gutter’s main job is to collect rainwater so it can be directed away from the home using downpipes. This drainage ensures that there is no building damage caused by rainwater. Many roofs have eaves to work with, which is also called a drip edge. gutter leaf guard is not the same as a gutter, though. If you are looking for rain gutter installation in Springfield Missouri, read the text below. On some buildings, gutters are used so the water ripples from the roof directly into the ground. In areas with a lot of rainfall, additional guttering is recommended. Otherwise, stunts can build up on the ground and can damage the building’s integrity. The result can be the formation of mold, whose proper disposal is associated with much effort and money. Gutters were used in antiquity and in the Middle Ages. First, the material consisted of wood, which, however, did not have a long shelf life. Later, hewn stones were used. During the 18th century, engineers found that a cantilever roof gutter installation was best used and the material consisted of metal. A gutter is a major part of any roof. The rooftop allows rainwater to flow down to the base of the roof where, if a gutter is present, the water can flow into the gutters and away from the property. There are also buildings with only one sloping roof and, in this case, gutters are only required on one side. A gutter installation contractor in Springfield Missouri can help homeowners decide which gutter system is best. A further variant is a flat roof, where the water is derived via the interior of the house and can be dispensed with any gutter. However, this type of construction has a drawback, particularly in snowy regions. In the case of heavy ice and snowfall, the load on the roof can become too great. Even today, there have been news of flat roofs collapsing, causing several deaths and injuries. European ancestors knew exactly what loads a sloping roof could withstand. In the case of large snowfalls, the load is better distributed and the snow slides downwards during thawing. Snow guards are installed in sensitive areas so as not to hurt people. At the end of the slope, the molten snow flows into the gutter and the water drains into the sewers via the downpipes. For more information on gutter replacement service in Springfield Missouri, contact a local roofer today.

Safe painting and decorating from Easi-Dec
Safe painting and decorating from Easi-Dec
By Soni Sheimar, Easi-Dec General Manager
Exterior painting and decorating is a challenging job at best and risky, if not dangerous, at worst. It often combines the risks associated with decorating with the dangers of working at height, which we all know is inherently dangerous.
Alongside all the usual risks of painting and decorating, such as accidental electrocution, exposure to asbestos,…
