angry at the oscars barbie nominations but in an annoyinger way (i think nominating ryan reynolds makes sense but the best picture and best supporting actress noms are ridiculous)

i slept very deeply and had such an intense dream about this pseudo-christian cult that did these paid retreats and i decided to investigate it and it was lead by this old money martha stuart-esque woman & specifically targeted young girls with wealthy families to like essentially make them very docile/insecure so their families would continue to pay in to their daughter’s ~ journey ~ only i hated all the people running it so much that my investigative facade cracked and i just kept trying to openly steal from them and be a menace anytime someone tried speaking but they couldn’t resort to violence for any of my antics because it would reflect poorly on them

#also they did like really fucked up morale breaking excercises like they killed people’s rats (the girls got rats to take care of?)#& fucked up their hair #it actually reminds me of this program that exists that like. essentially kidnaps your kid in the middle of the night and forces them to #rough it on this like weird grueling spiritual journey only youre a teen #with stupid parents who paid people to do this #i think this is partially inspired by:#my friend john happened upon one of these programs while camping wnd they and they said that it was eerie wnd also that #it seemed like the leaders wouldn’t be direct about was going on and that the girls were made to feel #like they were WAYYY further out in the woods than they were #i can find what the program is called btw if anyone wants to read about it. it’s evil #dreams

Not acknowledging Jon as a different actor in-universe would be the right move but I hope they at least throw in a line about Jon dying his hair because if they try to retcon and say Jon has been brunette this whole time it's just gonna feel lazy, make me roll my eyes, and see the new season as an entirely new universe instead.. because unless Clois has been dying Jon's hair since he was a little kid, the pilot clearly shows us Jon was born with blonde hair

#saying jon has been brunette the entire time would essentially make s1 - 2 not canon since that jon was a natural blonde #truthfully i don't understand why they couldn't dye michael's hair it only would've made him look even more like jordan #unless they are actually going for a 'different universe' route #i don't know #maybe i'm just being stupid but little details with characters like jon being blonde made the universe feel real #and just throwing the fact away would feel like they really don't care about keeping a consistent story #just saying 'actually this isn't canon anymore' and leaving it at that #i got enough of that bullshit with titans retconning the previous season each time a new one aired #superman and lois #jonathan kent
