God I have so many pet peeves with this design because look at his nutcracker form, suave with character development meanwhile his human version is so shit not so much an ugly way but more in an overwhelmingly bad way bcs where did all that character go you basic brunette go back and be a nutcracker cs you'll at least have the charisma and humanity lacking from your eyes, how the FUCK did you even look like you lose more humanity than you did as a fucking wooden toy. This is the beauty and the beast situation again but at least beasts human form has that underwhelming visual that you can remember, this one is just forgettable but once you remember it it puts such a deep feeling of disappointment bcs the nutcracker form legit gives you arguably a very attractive man and what you get is this soggy rat with an overcompensating chin like stfu this is a false advertisement

I'm going to make a brief post about it because I have a few asks in my inbox about it:

Yes I suspect the scripts were actually real which Nick from 8flix had. I always thought that. During the drama last year (last year? or whenever) I presumed that Netflix was trying to cover its ass, and handled the situation rather poorly.

Nick's allowed his own opinion on byler (as everyone is), and many of you are clearly interested in that opinion because he's become a fandom cult figure at this point, which is fun. Yes, I have a different opinion. But I also don't entirely discount the viability of Mileven either, for very specific theoretical reasons within which I sometimes can envision both Byler and Mileven as being eventually canon because... and I've said this a billion times... I truly, truly don't think this story is a surface level story. Something unique, on a meta layer, is happening that hasn't been revealed yet. I'm convinced. I think Will and El might share much more than narrative parallels. I could be wrong. We'll see.

But no matter what I think, or what Nick thinks or what anybody else thinks, you all should think for yourselves too and have a little fun with this enthusiastic anticipation of the final season.

so I suddenly realized I never really paid that much attention to Magic's in-MV credit roll. cause when I first watched Magic I wasn't yet aware the MVs were directly extracted from the prisoner's minds. so I was like "yep cute little themed credit roll ok". but now that I know that, I went back to look to see if there was anything of note or at least anything new. idk if anyone's already talked about this before and already translated them (and I can't really see no one having done so yet because. yeah) but. I'm gonna make this post anyway cause I Want To.

so the only new pieces of "information" in it are the first credit and the last credit. the ones in the middle just have the mascot's names and the little descriptions they were each given when they showed their names in the MV.

the first credit is this:

the top line literally says "Happiness-support(/aid/assistance) big sister". a more natural translation would probably be something like "The big sister who supports(/aids/assists) happiness" then under that is just Amane's full name, "Momose Amane".

and then the last credit:

which is just "Production/writing, MILGRAM". it's just crediting Milgram for everything shown.

at first I laughed cause I thought it was funny that they were crediting themself in the MV for seemingly no reason other than maybe a lil "Easter egg".

but then. I remembered. oh right. this entire MV is being extracted directly from Amane's head. so she's crediting Milgram for what she's performing in her head... maybe this is a stretch, but it's almost as if she's crediting them for the murder she committed...? like she's saying: "This is a murder apparently according to Milgram! This story belongs to them! They're making this!"

This citizen of Huntsville is in disguise and it is her hope to cause a little mystery and talk amongst the people. Any gossip will be good gossip to the crew at Sammie’s but maybe not so much for our self proclaimed Dark Angel.

She’s been assured there’s little to no risk— but maybe that’s just wishful thinking as she performs both singing and dancing acts…
