Oregon Coast thoughts from South Korea.

Even though I've lived in South Korea for the better part of the past decade, I still have passing thoughts about the Oregon Coast even though I haven't physically been there since 2015.

Some of my first memories as a child are of walking along the Oregon Coast near Haystack Rock. I actually grew up just outside of Tillamook for a few years before my mom and dad separated.

I have traveled the world a lot in the past 20 years, and my thoughts still go back to the Oregon Coast from time to time.

In my darker or sadder moments over the years, I have thought of my favorite places along the Oregon Coast to calm my mind down.

I still have a vivid mental picture of my favorite places along the Oregon Coast I can recall almost at will.

I can not only see those places in my mind's eye, I can sometimes almost feel them. Sometimes, I can even smell the sea air, hear the low roar of the Pacific Ocean off in the distance, and even feel the bracing chill of the wind coming off the ocean or the warmth of the sun setting on the ocean.

I hope to see it, feel it, and smell it again with my own eyes, ears, and nose soon.

Heyyy you bots!! The robots love exploring (despite perils) and the idea of following a trail of evidence through subterranean passages to a treasure trove has an almost irresistible appeal. I worry that I may have inspired them to seek out similar in their world.
