i love ur lil scrunkly eclipse, and i gots a question. how would lunar react to the whole "eclipse being kinda vampire now" thing, oh and maybe how would kc react to :]

Eclipse doesn’t actually tell anyone so Lunar finds out on his own after noticing how off he’s acting. Eclipse being tense and snappy because he’s trying to avoid drinking a lot of blood is what gets him caught. Lunar doesn’t care that he’s a vampire, but they do call him an idiot for wondering why he has been in an especially sour mood when he isn’t eating. And then they drag Eclipse to get some blood bags because even if Lunar doesn’t like him rn it’s still upsetting.

KC on the other hand is supportive from the start. Doesn’t mind that he has two blood drinking sons at all. KC is the one who will try to comfort Eclipse when he’s distressed over drinking blood or after he couldn’t stop himself from eating a rat or smthn.

gotta know when vamp Eclipse had his breakdown. misery for the wet rat man

Vampire Eclipse gets multiple breakdowns </3 There's the smaller, initial breakdown before he fully even realizes that bloodthirst is an issue. He had recently died, had to suffer in Bloodmoon's head, and his big plan of reactivating KC didn't work out because in this overall AU KC decides to be good quickly after gaining sentience and plans to get his sons on the same page. So, naturally, Eclipse has a tantrum and that is when he loses most of his will to steal the star and torment the others.

When his vampireness comes into light and becomes an issue it's still very bad. He's suffering, he doesn't feel like he can control himself, he gives himself an existential crisis trying to comfort himself, etc. Eclipse is having a bad time, but all that is prolonged and shoved down. So that, plus a few other things he tries to ignore after having to interact with the rest of the celestial family, will eventually blow up in his face much later down the road when he has his major breakdown.
