This pic has taken over my life this April, now I've looked at it too much lol

anyway, here's the print shop and the three amigos, with some detail shots.

I took a lot of liberties (lol) with the layout and architecture of the shop itself. I think its fair, considering that the show took a bunch of liberties themselves when designing their version of the shop. I don't think benji's house exists any more, and the building that was the shop is super small and definitely not enough to actually house people. I think the show must have blended elements of both. With that in mind, I took some limited inspiration from the show and came up with what you see here.

Oh boy do I! :3

I always headcanon Henri as Romani. He and his parents might’ve left France to flee from persecution for a new life in America. I also headcanon that Henri was physically/verbally abused during his time as a “slave”/cabin boy. It would explain why Henri immediately assumed that James and Moses came to hurt him. According to this site, the average journey of crossing the Atlantic was 7 weeks.

Small thread I made on why Liberty's kids is the superior media about amrev history (the wording is cringe please ingore it)

(also this does have valid points but also don't take any of it seriously)

-it adresses the hypocrisy of slave owners preaching about freedom

-one of the main characters is actually a slave who got freed

-it also adresses how the colonizers harmed native americans

-it doesn't deny that jefferson had slaves

-it shows the effects war has on individual people and children

-it has strong female characters

-it kind of focuses on ben franklin who we all know is the s u p e r i o r founding father /hj

-Alexander Hamilton is voiced by Andrew Rannells in it

-it shows the father-son relationship between Washington, Hamilton and Lafayette

-Lafayette arriving to america in a dress is canon in it

-Henri Lefevbre exists

-although John Laurens is very underrepresented in it (that's my only big issue with it but it's a pretty big issue :/) he is portrayed accurate, and by that I mean yelling at people

-it's on youtube and if you skip to the end and back to the beginning first you can avoid the 1000 ads 

-like.... It's not perfect obviously, but it's about as good as a cartoon made to educate childten can be

-and I at least find it highly entertaining

-seriously just watch it for Lafayette and Henri if not for anything else
