This site has lots of information and cool features. It's my favourite for everything's Colour related. It can also analyse a picture uploaded from pc. Not to mention how easy it is to make palettes with.

Edit: how cool is the image analysis. On pc its possible to hover over the image and sample it's colours.

I lost its bookmark and found it recently, so might as well share.

Hey !!! So sorry these requests take so long to fulfill but geez, I forgot how much time I had to spend on these scrapbook artworks. Anyway, I hope you're still around and will enjoy this piece. I went for the hexa code you gave me as a theme but it turned out to be greenish more than blue, I hope it's okay ? For some reason, I really liked that this color was Hiroto's exact eye color hihi

where do you find out the color name by the hex code?

Hey there! So, the website I use is pretty handy because it gives both a name and the actual color. The color names aren't always perfect, but you can always pop the hex code into Google to find a standard name. Websites like HTML Color Codes, ImageColorPicker, and Coolors are great for that! Though, if you're looking for awesome websites to find or create palettes, my go-to is Color Hexa. It even shows you the complementary colors for any hex code you're looking at – it just doesn't provide color names themselves.

Luz: Penkind. Again, this is an obvious one, since her magic comes from her glyphs and her RAW AUTISTIC TALENT. And her ARTISTIC TALENT too I guess. Unlike a typical strife weapon that would be alchemized and upgraded into new permutations over time, I don't see Luz's base weapon changing much. Maybe infinite ink or something she can use on any surface, that's about it. If anything she'll gain a second one for Staffkind so she can use Stringbean for more on-demand magic, presuming Stringbean doesn't get turned into a sprite. But maybe let's not kill *all* the palismen.

Amity: Mittenkind. This is a permutation of the already canon Fistkind and Glovekind strife specibus. We know Fistkind is for bareknuckle fighting and Gloves can encompass a lot of things, including gauntlets, so for Mittenkind I'm going to say the caveat is that the hand coverings must be somehow MAKESHIFT and HOMEMADE. So her Abomination Goo would qualify, as would something she knit for herself. And obviously a secondary Staffkind specibus. This goes for all the witchlets.

Willow: Venusflytrapkind. She took a literal Piranha Plant which is a real thing in the Isles because I said so and made it her weapon. Alongside allowing her typical plant magic, any weapon she makes for herself will be venus fly trap coded in some way, having the teeth and the acid and the whatnot. Secondary Staffkind.

Gus: This one was the toughest of them all honestly. But I'm going to go with Mirrorkind. Mirrors are an illusionist's most fundamental tool of trickery, and its ability to REFLECT will make Gus a particularly DEFENSIVE PLAYER in his Snest party. Alongside his illusions, he'd gain a wide variety of defensive spells via reflection and refraction. Secondary Staffkind.

King: Voicekind. This happens completely on accident while he's fooling around and has no idea what he's doing in the beginning and King initially thinks it's REALLY FUCKING STUPID ACTUALLY before his powers come in, but then he realizes IT'S ACTUALLY VERY THEMATICALLY APPROPRIATE. As a baby source of infinite magic power, he can speak spells into existence at higher levels on top of his base WEH ability. And since everybody else gets a secondary specibus, I'm going to make his secondary Clawkind for his lil bony fingies.

Hunter: Gunkind. J/k. But could you imagine? Hunter with a gun? I shudder at the thought. No, he mains Staffkind, but loses it when Flapjack dies via Stinky Sludge Man. On the one hand, Hunter will get to keep his friend in this session via prototyping Flapjack as his sprite, which he will haphazardly combine with a wolf poster to create WOLFJACK THE LONESOME, the most fearsome sprite this side of a Strider. On the other hand, when it's gone he'll be stuck with Fistkind. Better start pumping iron dude! Maybe watch some Karate Kid!

Vee: Venomkind. She's not POISONOUS, she's VENOMOUS, because she's KIND OF A SNAKEY LOOKING THIGN in her true form. Careful Masha, she bites! She has no secondary strife specibus but she doesn't really need it. As a demon her raw natural base stats are higher than any ordinary humans or witches and she already has the power to swallow magic like Kirby at a buffet. The question becomes... has she always had a kind of venom inside of her, did she steal Eddie Brock's best friend, or did she extract it from some local Earth snakes? One of the many mysteries of Vee Noceda...

Masha: Cardkind. Obviously. What else would she have? Those tarot cards and liberated Hexas Holdem decks won't do her much good in divining futures because she's not actually a Seer, but they will gain unique properties per card based on what's printed on them. Through some alchemiter shenanigans, I could see her ganking some of Luxord and Marluxia's tricks and being able to trap things in cards or imprint memories onto them, too. And you BEST BELIEVE she's going to be the SYLLABUS CARD DEALER of the group with an infinite supply to ensure nobody has to worry about inventory space.

Collector: Lennonkind. Because his power is the power to IMAGINE. It probably isn't actually called Lennonkind. Okay it definitely isn't, as funny as that would be. What he really did was actually much creepier. He created a soulless copy of his body that theoretically has all of his powers but no consciousness and tossed it into his Strife Specibus. His specibus is literally Collectorkind. He can do whatever the hell he wants forever. Collector casts PIZZA BAGEL BONANZA on your stomach. You die of internal bleeding and hydrochloric acid as it explodes within your spidery flesh.

Papa Titan: Voicekind. Same as his son but he's more proficient, obviously. His power is the power of language via spoken glyphs. He will talk no jutsu you into a Level 100 Fireball to the face.

Belos: Staffkind and Daggerkind to start, but he also has Zombiekind, Sludgekind, Liekind, and Unkind as additional Strife Specibi. He probably stole all of them from real witches. Can't have shit in Demon Detroit.

Lockdown

Hexa sat up in her respiteblock, mindlessly scrolling through the vast ocean of internet websites. Clicking through different blogs he followed on Instagrub and Grumble, checking up on online orders since they tended to take ages to get to where she lived. Being up in the mountains had perks, yeah, but it also had a lot of downsides. Being up in the snowy mountains was peaceful, it was beautiful. The howling of the winter winds were like a lullaby to the Jadeblood. And being a Jadeblood also meant the cold wasn't too bothersome for him. But the frequent isolation sucked, and having to be in a wheelchair at times didn't really help her situation. It was... A bit of a struggle to get down if she needed it, but he's been fortunate enough to not find himself in that situation very often. The distant roars and growls of other creatures never scared her, Hexa's mountain lion lusus was a fierce huntress and has killed off several predators before for as long as Hexa's been able to understand the concept of death. Hexa's grown used to the ambient noise. So, it didn't click to him that the world was silent until she heard something new, making his ears perk up in alarm. Voices. There were many, but they were faint. Hexa strained to hear them, closing his eyes. About four to five trolls, maybe even more that simply weren't talking. His bloodpusher skipped a beat as she got up from her desk, trying his best to be as quiet as possible. Those voices were far away, yes. But that doesn't mean there weren't any closer to her hive. The Jadeblood stood there for a few moments, just listening intensely. The voices still seemed quite far, but the idea of them coming closer scared the Jadeblood witless. He felt around his desk and grabbed his palmhusk, unlocking it with the number code and looking through her apps. Her kismesis had made her download some sort of app that controlled the lockdown system the Teal had installed into his hive. Hexa would always politely refute the idea that someone was after her, her kismesis and their two friends. She thought it was silly, impossible even. They're just four trolls. Four Midbloods. Why would someone wanna do anything to them? Hexa, at least for all she knew, knew that her and her little group weren't involved with anything bad. Nothing that should make them worry for their safety. But Hexa also knew her kismesis could be quite paranoid at times, which worried him a lot. But right now, the idea that someone was here to hurt her was weighing down her rational mind. He tapped the app and opened it. Hexa didn't want to do this. She didn't want to lock down his entire hive, isolating himself even more from the world. But she wasn't thinking clearly, fear gripping his heart as he pressed the large red "LOCKDOWN" button that appeared on the screen. The roaring clangs of metal shutting down around the Jade's windows and doors could be heard, the lights switching off above his head. Hexa's lusus roared from another room, clearly confused as to what was going on. Hexa just chewed on her bottom lip as he husktop shut off automatically. He was cut off from the outside world even more now. At least for the time being.

Background Info:

The two multiverses were close to each other, their similar premises and characters drawing the two together. The openings made to both of them were two of the few last nails in the coffin as they merged into one, creating what you can see now. In most places, the split is quite obvious, there's duplicates of almost everything, the important universes, the guardians, hell, even the antivoid was doubled. But the doodlesphere wasn't. The center of the multiverse poorly mixed into each other, as the worlds in it scrambled and shuffled, sending some out away from their known surroundings and others to entirely new climates. It wasn't a good thing, and the now doubled force of guardians had to keep it in check and start to unravel the newly intertwined code so that it could hopefully be again separated.

IBO reference notes on . . . mobile suit designations

And now for some deeply useless observations on how mobile suits are labeled in Iron-Blooded Orphans.

(I’m purely looking at this ‘in fiction’; I know most of these are in fact in-jokes based on the mecha designers’ names.)

Starting with the titular Gundam frames, these are each designated ASW-G-XX, where XX is a number between 01 and 72 (or literally XX for Vidar). We have no canonical explanation for what ‘ASW’ means, but all other types of mobile suit have a similar letter string in their codes. I personally favour the idea it references the manufacturer, and that each frame family represents the work of a different group, but there’s nothing backing that up.

Interestingly, the mobile armours are *not* given identification codes. Given that they bear the same symbol as the Gundams on key components, however, we might suppose that using ASW-A or something like that would make sense, in a ‘underlining the obvious connection’ fashion. (Well, now I’ve said that, this might only apply to Hashmal and Harael; Ananel and Nemamiah look distinct enough to have come from different manufacturers.)

Valkyrja frames, meanwhile, follow a slightly more impenetrable logic:

We can presumably add V0_-0526 Helmwige, based on the V08Re-0526 Helmwige Reincar (AKA the Grimgerde in new clothes), although we don’t know what its prefix number is supposed to be.

I don’t know if the capitalisation is meant to be meaningful. I would assume not since there’s nothing particularly special about the Stachel and Schild that would make them stand out from the pack (they’re basically different equipment sets on a standard Graze. The Schwalbe is the prototype for the frame, and is numbered straight on from the Geirail, EB-04. Currently, no model has been designated EB-07 but based on the above, we can assume it was the prototype for the Reginlaze.

The AEB-06L Hloekk Graze has a modified numbering convention, presumably because it is a modified Graze. But I’m not sure what to do with the EB-AX2 Graze Ein. It’s not really a custom (more on which later), nor does it have a proper place in this lineage, though design elements would be incorporated into the Reginlaze Julia. It’s just this weird outlier monster prototype thing.

Regardless, the two mainline Reginlaze variants follow the same schema as Grazes:

Moving out of Gjallarhorn, the standard configuration for the Hexa frame has two versions,

Which are basically the same thing with differing load-outs. We see IPP-0032 in the context of construction models hijacked for the purposes of insurrection, and the IPP-0032S fielded by the SAU military. Then we get:

The Hugo is the most prominent Hexa in IBO proper, since ‘suits of this type are used by the Dawn Horizon Corps and JPT Trust. An Enzo, meanwhile, shows up as Range’s first machine in IBO:Urdr Hunt - and I’m saying ‘an Enzo’ because while the descriptions implies it’s fairly rare/unique, the numbering suggests it’s a type rather than a custom model.

This assumption is based on the pattern that continues with the Rodi frames, where standard mass-production models have simple ‘letter string hyphen alphanumerical’ codes:

No code has been given for the Monkey Rodis used by 598′s human debris crew, though they appear to be another Man Rodi variant. Perhaps oddly, there is no distinction between Man and Landman Rodis. Most other equipment swaps see some update to the numbering, leaving this an oddity. Then again, why would Tekkadan have bothered registering them under a new classification when they redid the legs?

Then we have the Teiwaz/Io frame mobile suits:

All of this essentially leaves us with two ‘genres’ of base mobile suit IDs: mass production types that have a consistent form like (ABC)-(ABC123), and lines of unique ‘suits where each is identified individually: ASW-G-XX, V0X-(1234).

Conclusions? Not many, but I would propose the machine specific codes for the mass-production types (that is, say, Crank Zent’s particular Graze) might follow the Valkyrja form of ID in having an addition numerical string. There’s no obvious reason for the Valkyrjas to be numbered so precisely since the implication in various materials is that there’s only nine of them, but if it is in fact following common practice (Ahab reactor number, maybe?) we might infer a more precise machine code running ‘ EB-06-0505′ or ‘IPP-18875-7007′.

What we don’t have to infer is the convention for custom models based on mass-production ‘suits, which is usually to append a string including the letter ‘c’ to the end of the ID. Thus we have:

To take these in sets -- ‘tc’ obviously stands for ‘Tekkadan Custom’. We have one based on Crank’s Graze getting up to ‘tc3′ before being retired in favour of a customised Shiden, and the King’s Throne as the second Shdien custom commissioned for Tekkadan.

The Julia is a ‘Julieta Juris Custom’. Given this is something being produced by the R&D division, we could label it a prototype ala the Graze Ein, but since the Julia is decidedly built with Julieta in mind, custom is the better term.

I didn’t include the Triaina previously because we only ever see one of them and it’s labelled the same way as Amida’s Hyakuren (AC), which we know is ‘custom built’ in the sense of being a pseudo-prototype made with better materials. So this might be a case of a limited run rather than unique unit.

The Hakuri Rodis are scrap-heap Man Rodis with cobbled-together armour (literally Brewers’ cast-offs found in a debris zone). It’s not surprising they break the pattern.

Tanto Tempo’s customs (T2C) make a pattern of labelling by organisation. Descriptions confirm the Labrys are customised by Tanto Tempo, so they’re not a sub-type in their own right, just a made-to-order variant of the Landman Rodi. Curiously, the Kallisto suggests the existence of a STH-14 model as distinct from the STH-14s Hyakuri. Or the ‘s’ just got dropped when Gianmarco ripped off the backpack.

From all of this, we might therefore conclude that the EB-04jc4 Geirail Scharfrichter is also a custom model. Its profile describes it as a sister machine to the normal Geirail, but it being unique to the mercenary company Mossa employs feels more sensible than it being some kind of standard variant (honestly, I usually forget it even exists).

Finally, there’s the matter of customised Gundams. These don’t generally see an addition to the number codes when they are updated, which might reflect an expectation they will be reconfigured semi-regularly (Kimaris certainly came with a lot of optional extras and it’s Dantalion’s whole gimmick). But nevertheless, common practice appears to be to add extra words to the name:

unfortunately, not all posts can produce a hydrocarbon upon analysis. this can be for many reasons. the most frequent, however, is an odd number of hydrogen (h) atoms¹, so if your post/ask doesn't get a response, this may be why.

i also try to avoid longer posts as there are so many combinations possible that many are unstable or just not documented.

others may have multiple possible structures. i try to minimise complexity (again, for readability), so multiple structures will only be shown for posts containing 6 or fewer carbon atoms.

this is also where i stop caring about set completion (see list at end).

methodology:

first, a post is stripped of all letters other than 'c' and 'h', leaving punctuation and emojis for clarity.

secondly, points in the post that must remain constant are located (ie, a CH3 group at the start/end), then i work forwards/backwards from there.

as far as i am concerned, any adjacent hydrogens are fair game (ie, ethene could be expressed as hchhch, chhhhc, hhcchh... but not cchhhh), so they are matched up with carbons to maintain 4 bonds per C atom.

most hydrocarbons have a cyclic isomer, too; so if it has one that is accessible from the post, i will usually include it. sometimes i can only make the cyclic isomer, so the linear one is excluded.

there may also be multiple linear/cyclic isomers, so as stated prior, these will only be included if there are less than or equal to 6 carbon atoms.

lastly, it is double-checked against online databases to ensure it does indeed exist, and i am not stupid (spoiler, i am).

1: while i am aware radical and ionic substances fit this description, this is a dumb gimmick blog, and i am trying to maintain as much readability for the average reader as possible.

GLORIOUS DAY! THE LAST OF 2024 (I am writing this as the clock ticks over into 2025). FOURTEEN, YES, FOURTEEN MAPS ALL PART OF THE SCD SUPER FINALE MARATHON! I might tone down the yapping a tad for the sake of getting through all these so HERE WE GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

FIRST! - Moonlight Daydream by Sapphire_Xer0!! - The Marathon begins here! Sophie cooked up an expert map featuring dream blocks and puffers, and it was a ton of fun! Every room was a blast, I liked the progression of techniques (like the dream hyper fish bhop, and the fish ultra) and the berry was a nice gimmick touch! The decoration is stellar and quite SC-core, and the music was a great cherry to top the fishcake! Overall, I've been liking puffers a lot more recently......, 9.7/10!!

SECOND! - Starlight, Starbright by geb! - Next up we have an adv-exp effort from geb! Very clearly a reference to SC advanced's Satellite, I had a really fun time with this one! The wallbounce and spring gameplay just felt really funky and fun to do, helped by the top notch music. The visuals are pretty good and faithful to Satellite, and I especially liked the quirky room with 2 berries in it! Overall, Hexa trivia fact! Satellite used to be the map I remembered the least from SC advanced, maybe other than The Correlation... 9/10!!

THIRD! - Midlight by yurt7x!! - Here we've got an easier map all about the purple, um burst bubbles? Y'know, the ones from Red Giant? This map is quite the jauntful one (wow this word has settled into my vocabulary with no effort), just featuring a lot of wounces and waves and stuff and some cool bubble cancels too! It was.. just a fun time! Music and deco were a good fit too! Overall, maybe I should try yurt's jauntest map too... 9/10!!

FOURTH! - Overgrown Factory by xolimono! - The peak keeps on coming, almost like it's being produced at a factory! Not this one tho probably, this place is abandoned and overgrown by nature after all! The Overgrown City inspiration is clear, and the Desecration exploding boxes on zipper tracks are a cool entity to play around! The rooms were fun, and I liked the wavedash setup boost in the final room! I'd like to see how this gameplay style would do for longer rooms focused on the speedrun aspect of the connected zippers.... Overall, yes i still don't know what the desecration entities are actually called, 8.6/10!!!

FIFTH! - Sequoia by grog398!! - Here we have a solidly sc gm map (prolly would've ended up in red) based on FotA and Temporal Tower! The TT routing is on show from the start, along with the badelines (that don't kill when you're close to bino, though it confused the hell outta me the first time lmao), and of course we'll have to clear our way with the exploding crystals. The first room was pretty fun to route, the second room was REALLY hard to route, but I'm proud of myself for doing it without help, and the final room was easier to route, but had some cool moves! The heart room was a cool callback to TT's final room, hope it's silver friendly! The visuals have an interesting vibe and the music was pretty good! Overall, 2023 Hexalia would've definitely backed out the clear video for this one! 8.4/10!

SIXTH! - IchiNiSan by Appels!! - A very interesting vibes map! First off, I LOVE the outdoorsy vibe to the visuals, and now I wanna play more maps with this fresh air style! I also like the general color palette and tileset used here, quite pretty! The gameplay revolves around vertical screenwrap and room-wide crumble blocks! The progression is very fun, having 1, then 2, then 3 crumbles. I liked the in-room berries, definitely great to see with their rarity! Yeah, the bubbles and routing also add to the overall cool gameplay structure. Overall, I will code a crumble block that doesn't do the annoying insta-crumble sometimes, 8.9/10!!!

SEVENTH! - Far Flung Moon by Banana23!! - Another banger from the mapper to begin the SCD posting! This one has clear visual ties to Booster in Orbit, and the infamous bubble snakes are a feature here! This map is tech focused, lots of waves, supers, wounces and reverses are just good fun to breeze through as always! I loved the minimal decoration style and the general dark night/space vibe to it. The berries were pretty fun too! Overall, I just really like this map! 9.2/10!!

EIGHTH!! - Scrapyard by butcherberries!! - This map is quite different from all the others! Featuring a monochromatic (or is it grayscale?) Major-Malfunction-y visual experience which I quite appreciate the unique-ness off! The dead-looking trees and all the scrapheaps add to the immersion! The gameplay is interesting too, with gray bubbles and desecration exploders making up some pretty mind-boggling routing/exploring gameplay! Even the bino placements are weird, just like this whole map really, but it was a cool time! Overall, insert joke about the Scrapyard from btd6, 8.5/10!!

NINTH! - Through Time Unphased by MorphedCat!! - Coming in for number nine, this map is also really interesting! The difficulty is all over the place, from techless-ish intermediate, to sc cracked speedchains, all is encompassed by a pretty neat mini-story which I think is a really nice touch! But of course the highlight for me was the backtrack to reach the heart! It really cemented the experience for me! The visual style is very distinct with it's all-over-the-place approach, and I liked the music! Overall, kinda World Abyss-y with those touch switches...cool...9.2/10!!!

TENTH! - Slider Sanctuary by Soloiini!!! - And from some pretty complex maps we cool down with a fun beginner map! I loved the conveyor belt gimmick combined with the moving circle hazards! There were some cool movement ideas in there and all was very fun to jaunt through! I also appreciate the vanilla music in this one, that and the simpler deco feel quite sc-ish!! Overall, :thumbeline:, 8.8/10!!

ELEVENTH! - Rain Season by Tear_!! - More peak puffering perchance? YES!! This high expert map uses double dash, jump crystals, push blocks and fish and creates a super fun map out of them! Lots of cool setups and fish tech, along with fun mini-routing. The visuals are pretty good here, and I like the rain aesthetic, and the music was great! Call me a fan of the atmospheric start to the map with the move block too! Overall, HELL YEAH I AM A REFORMED PUFFERFISH FAN! 9.1/10

TWELFTH! - Skysailing by fonda1515!! - OH GOD YESSSS FONDA MAPPING I'M GONNA MELT IT'S SOOOOO GOOOOOOD! This map is just raw fun, simples. I almost got sad when it seemed like room 3 would be the end, but there was another room and a berry waiting for me! The jelly setups and red bubble moves were a shitton of fun, and I liked the wall/dream grab progression later on! The music also just added to the airborne jaunty vibe, so yeah, I absolutely had a blast! Overall, hmmm, red bubbles are fun... I can use this.... 10/10!!

THIRTEENTH! - Air A Danser by CoolBread! - This map which I didn't play straight away (sorry!) is allll about jumpthrough jumps! I'm quite the jumpthrough jump hater usually but this map was really good! The easier difficulty kept things from being annoying, and I liked the progression of adding neutrals in too! The gameplay is built around the main tech quite well too! I also liked the gimmick berries at the end! And the music and deco were great too! Overall, not so unlucky thirteen I think! 9/10!!

FOURTEENTH! - False Dawn by ABuffZucchini! - To END the marathon, we end on the vegetable! This map was intended to be uncomfortable to play, and I'd say it delivers! It's high expert, and focuses on tech and dream blocks, usually a more jaunty mechanic palette, but here there are plenty of spinners placed to add that uncomf in! I like the dark, unsettling vibe, and the rooms still had some neat moves to them! Overall, True Dusk, 8.5/10!!

SURPISE MOTHERFUCKERS! FIFTEENTH! - Penguin Park by Elysia Vesper! - A quick fifteenth map I picked up for fun! And I even fcg'ed it! This chilly atmosphere houses easy jumps and bubble gameplay, with some wallbounces! It was super fun to play as a map, with 6 varied berries, a fun world full of friendly penguins with some things to say, and a pleasant track! The difficulty curve is very smooth, and it's just satisfying to nail quick turnarounds and bubble sequences! I especially liked the open festival area, just adds even more charm! As for the fcg (or fcs actually), It didn't take that long, map is pretty consistent. Though of course I managed to die in final room somehow lol. Overall, gl on umm, epsilon? whichever room it is i'm sure you'll enjoy it cheepling :trollshiro:, 9.8/10
