It's usually known to Hermits to not joke about Scar's scars, as most of them were gained in his... less than idea homeserver.

However, in s6, Grian joined, and nobody really told him that. So, without even thinking, he teased Scar jokingly, laughing and jibing at his blind eye and scarred body.

He only found out it was wrong when Cub came to chew him out, after finding a sobbing Scar.

Grian has his own scars, but they're easily tucked away under his jumper as if they never existed. There's reasons he doesn't take it off, though. That's one of them.

Now, Scar is one of the few people that's traced the grooves along Grian's body, just like Grian's traced his. They've exchanged stories, late nights and kisses as their friendship grew into something more.

Grian's now Scar's biggest advocate, refusing to let anybody be cruel to him. Scar finds it adorable, despite not needing defending as much anymore. It's hard to be ashamed of something that's loved so much.

Taking the Hermit Species AU: imagine the Hermits, when in the Life Games, appear like regular players. So after they raid Empires, they look like Hermits again and every Empire person that was on the Life Games is just like: “You’re short?!”

Esp. with Double Life; Jimmy and Tango, Scott and Cleo. Jimmy just peers downward at him after their initial reunion and tilts his head, “You weren’t this short last time I saw you, were you?”

Scott just points and cackles at Cleo, who has unfortunately left her platforms on her homeserver.

-> She does, eventually, get new ones and then both of them have a Platform competition.

Grian perches on everything; like it was a common occurrence on Hermitcraft, but now literally every build he comes across is large and expansive and so tall he just itches to just perch like a gargoyle.

-> If you cannot find Grian, it is likely that he is on top of a building in whatever Empire you’re in and giggling at your confusion.

Hermits are obsessed with diamonds, too, and LOVE to snatch the shinies from storage systems, so if you ever need a favor or something done, give a diamond to a Hermit and there ya go.

Hermit + Diamond = Almost-Free Labor

we all hate discord and they're getting worse and worse. can we all agree on One thing to go to BEFORE shit happens?

im nominating [matrix], its decentralized, like email. no matter what homeserver you're in (sort of like an email provider) you join you can communicate with users on other servers (this is not like a discord server, its like a literal hosting server room somewhere). other than that its a pretty good slack/discord clone

(mozilla has their own matrix instance btw, chat.mozilla.org, you can make your own as well and have full control over your data, but yeah make sure you find a good one with features you like)

it also doesnt matter what app you use, they all connect to the same network, you can use whatever app you like

the "idc just give me one" option is Element, one of most popular apps for it

you dont have to switch now. just get prepared and just in case some shit happens to discord that ticks you off badly enough to leave. so we dont have a twitter moment and split off into 10 different platforms

oh and if it does happen, matrix is able to communicate with other apps using "bridges" such as. well. discord, (and slack, signal, skype, telegram, facebook, sms, irc, whatever) but this does have to be enabled by the person who runs the homeserver.
