You heard that right, our first confirmed meetup is happening, and yes, it's in New Jersey.

NOTE: Admission into Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park is $10 for those who are 18+ and free for those 17 & under. Address is 221 Ocean Ave N, Long Branch, NJ 07740

What to bring:

- Blankets or towels to sit on

- Food/snacks

- Sunscreen (even under facepaint)

- Hats, sunglasses, or umbrellas for extra sun protection

Safety reminders:

Temps will be around 80°F, so be mindful of heat! If you’re wearing heavy makeup or cosplay, make sure you’re staying cool.

If you’re under 18, please come with a buddy or make sure someone knows where you are.

- The park has ADA-compliant parking and restrooms.

- There are paved pathways and accessible ramps to the boardwalk and beach viewing areas.

i present to you another homestuck artifact of days long past circa 2013, this one taken from a california-based group called calistuck. out of two facebook pages AND tumblr this is the only surviving photo. maybe others were posted and later deleted? either way this is really funny and a little disturbing. @calistuck-blog any of the admins still online? actually now that i’m looking at it again maybe it’s trickster dirk and a cal. either way it’s pretty cool and really weird!

both this picture and the one from yesterday with the dave’s + santa were sourced as a result of my archival project, linked below, dedicated to locating and archiving all past and present regional homestuck groups, such as calibornia or UKstuck. if interested in aiding the project feel free to dm!

Hey so really quick dash con two just said they’re dropping the con maps in May. When that happens I imagine fandoms setting up official meetups will follow. I know most of the homestucks have agreed to meet at the ballpit at 11. I will be there too. However, just based on my decade of con going I imagine we won’t be able to run an official meetup at the ballpit. It will likely end up being a social thing mostly seeing as the con staff will likely regulate the ballpit. That said, the homestucks should have a cosplay meetup. The second the map drops, I’m going to stake out a spot and time for us. Probably 4pm. I have experience running large meets so I don’t mind doing it, I just wanna make sure people are interested. I’ll bring this up on the DashConTwoOrBust server closer to the map drop, but I think more people will respond positively over there once it’s more concrete. I know this a very new blog so most of yall don’t know me, but I was taught how to run meets by someone who ran Homestuck meets at ax in the 2010s in fact the last axstuck they ran in 2016 my friend and I got to shadow them. From there I ran several meets of my own up until the pandemic hit. but either way, I’ve been here for a while. I started my first Homestuck tumblr blog in 2013. And I’ve been cosplaying Homestuck and going to events since around then. I retired in 2020 and I’m back now. anyway, if any dash con two attendees would go to a cosplay meetup let me know!

Hello everyone!! I am hosting a Homestuck cosplay meetup at Fan-X in Utah, alongside my good friend!! Come join us if you can!!

There is an attendee discord server that is OVERRUN with homestucks and people saying they will be cosplaying Homestuck. There’s a plan for everyone to find each other at the ballpit at 11am. Also, as soon as the dashcon two people come out and tell us how they want fandoms to plan meets, we will organize a cosplay meet specifically for photos of Homestuck cosplayers at dash con two. Don’t worry too much hahaha

if I don't seen any photos of Homestuck cosplayers at Dashcon 2 I will immediately be disappointed y'all better do it
