got given a free thinkpad x270 with bios locked down by a family member whos company went under. after about an hour with a CH341 programmer and some DIP clips i got it unlocked!!

i don't want to become a keyboard guy but i just found out how easy it is to take out my keyboard's pcb (i thought it snaps in lol) and now i'm gonna put some foam in there and maybe even some embellishments idk

i have a thousand things i should be doing today but instead i figured out how to make epubs

and it's going great!!!

look at that!! look at that beautifully locally rendered dialog box!!!

thought id start small, something with a css file and some images but nothing too fancy. it took about two hours from vague thought to much research to final success.

turns out an epub is just a zip file with html and css in there! so that's easy. harder is that there's little to no way to get decent debug messages when you screw up. also i couldn't figure out how to get my xhtml file to see a folder with images in it so the images are scattered in the main folder but hey! they render!

I finally managed to beat the Crucible Knight in the Evergaol with only a physical weapon!

Probably not as impressive to others as it is to me but I ALWAYS struggle with Crucible Knight fights(Especially the duo in the hero's grave), but you can't summon spirit ashes for this one which means I actually learned the attacks and I'm proud of that

Also the fact that you can buff the Bloodhounds Fang with greases and spells like Electrify Armament is ridiculous lol. Helps that Crucible Knights are not resistant to lightning so I'll be using that on the one in Stormveil

mech keyboards making me lose my mind overpriced consumerism where $200+ is BUDGET and 700+ is the ideal standard is NOT a hobby 😭 (want a new keyboard bc being sick of this one is affecting me being able to want to do anything with it)

love her bc she doesn't give me a headache ($90 without being garbage)

*only 75% i would want to try so far is this one the black frame with grey caps and white lighting on the lettering is beautiful

what keyboard do u own

I have 2 but the one I actually use is my Ducky One 3 Matcha TKL with Strawberry Milk switches and ePBT Axolotl key caps

I do want to get some more milky switches or else relube my strawberry milk ones because they're more clicky than I like.
