The problem is spending all my time in the in-between stage, you know? It isn't so bad, but I just want to finish something. Everything is half done. I'm making progress on plenty of projects at work, but I haven't actually had anything to mark complete in ages. I'm near the finish line on all these papers, which is incredible, but there's nothing to celebrate, really, until it's final. I'm almost done with this semester, with a whole-ass master's program, but there's so much left to do I could drown in it all and I've got to keep swimming. I've got all these ideas for what job I might like to try next, but I owe six months after I graduate, so there's no point in even applying to anything yet. So I guess that's why I feel frustrated, more than usual, lately with writing something that keeps multiplying. I've been stuck on this next chapter for longer than I anticipated, and so much of Act II is up in the air and I'm stuck in the middle, like everything else. I've got all these backlogged projects that are lingering half-finished and I know I'll come back to them eventually, but for now they just haunt me. I don't get to actually finish things so much these days. It is worth it, but it also feels - hrrghh, you know? My whole life is lived just on the cusp right now. It's a season, and not a bad one, but still.
